Best VR Game So Far. This game is my favorite VR game. I was gutted when it ended. I am surprised it doesn't have higher than a 4.1 on review because it is a stunning game. Would love to see more Cyan games like this on VR.
true to the original version. i played this 30 years ago and loved it. I loved played it with my grandson, introducing him to the original genre of adventure games! i would love to see the follow on myst games in vr also!
A great Journey. I lost myself on the island for three (hard) days! This game is simply great, it blows your mind (sometimes too much, indeed!) :) I had to look at the solution two times because I was stuck (but the solution was very close!) Anyway, if you are not in a hurry, if you want peace, relax and challenge your mind, this game is simply a masterpiece in VR! All stars deserved!
Remarkable. I played Myst back in the days after the original release and it was magical. The story, the music, the mystery… even the technology of having video in a game- all mesmerizing. A lifelong experience. Now to play it again for the first time in decades- all of that holds true still. The only difference is now that I’m an older and more jaded… this VR experience is the only way I could see recommending this puzzle game. VR makes you a part of the experience. It feels like LOST the game. It’s magical. Again.
Great classic updated with love. This is how remake should be done. This great puzzle game classic return to this new format and should be greatly encourage in the future. I hope we will be able to see the rest of the Myst franchise remade even reimagine in VR. It shows how much puzzle games have evolved over time and there is still a lot of room to see more classic come to the VR.
Great game. Myst was first game bought for my also first pc when I was kid, and I was too young to even understand what it is about, so i never completed it. It's amazing that i was able to do it in VR, years later. It's a game that doesnt tell you much and wont hold your hand when you walk through it. Just oldschool, hardcore adventure, with no hints, ui, markers, or listed objectives. There are also (almost) no npcs, just some enviro storytelling. All you have are great puzzles and your brain and that works amazing. I highly recommend the game to anyone looking for puzzle game that is more than just 'find hidden objects and fit it somewhere'. I had that need for a good puzzles after finishing 7th Guest VR and Myst just filled that spot perfectly. P.s. there is problem with text being cut on sides not fitting the text area (at least in polish translation)
Excellent update. The time, care and attention to detail taken with rebooting Myst in VR shows. Absolutely excellent in every way. I'm not taking away any stars for lack of a notebook function. It wasn't a huge hassle to take my headset off and take a note here and there. 10/10! So...how about rebooting Riven in VR?
Gotta try Myst. I played the original Myst waaay back when it was on the computer and I loved it. I think that there are some people who don’t really understand what it is about and so expect a regular puzzle game or an adventure like an online rpg game.
I remember being immersed in the game the night that Princess Diana died and it helped me to be in a different headspace.
I hope that any bugs that are in this game will help to fix Riven when it comes out.
I’m 65 and I think it’s never too late to play new games or remakes of old games.
Brink Back lots of nice memories. Love this game right from the beginning. Now i own al the versions 😉 and vr is excellent. Are there any plans for a quest 3 update for myst vr?
