Fun!! This game was my introduction to VR and this is an experience! My girlfriend watched me play and constantly found herself laughing as I looked from hundreds of feet in the air, dangling one arm. One time I looked down, and you know what they say...DONT LOOK DOWN! I almost stumbled and had to find my footing. It's fun and you're moving your arms so that's always good to get up and move.
The best game I've played so far. Climb 2 is amazing. There is a sense of awe while playing because the environment is so cool. One of the coolest moments is to reach a checkpoint when you can stand and walk a little bit. Feels very immersive. If there's a third one coming, I'd really hope there'd be more spots where you could walk around.
Really good BUT. This game is really really good and I recommend it but there is one thing. I wish there were, well for starters more city maps and the other thing is I wish you could climb actual landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and stuff 😀 but yes I recommend you get this game
Great Game! One thing though… ATTENTION. Hello developers and people looking for a recommendation, this is a must get game if you are fond of nature, obstacles, and smart but obvious controls. This is a really awesome game and has so much potential. I might help with a few recommendations.
1. Pop ups-I know it might be for a reason but, I’m getting non-stop pop ups asking me to recenter the camera or get my face out of an object. There’s not really a setting or anything to turn off the pop up. It sometimes helps but can get frustrating.
2. Levels- there are so many good vistas that can get put in the game. There should be more stuff like the City levels. Nature is absolutely amazing but this is virtual reality we’re talking about. We can put things or maps that can’t possibly be seen in real life. More modern locations like an empty mall or a restaurant. You get the idea.
3.Interaction- This is a pretty short part of my unreasonable complaints. The puffins in North on Easy mode. Or almost any animal NEED to be able to interact with. Specifically for this situations, puffins. The puffins on the level I said should be touchable. I can only imagine cradling a little puffin while climbing. Wait a minute. Okay, let me rephrase. TOUCHING a puffin with my hand. Great Game though. You MIGHT put these features in The Climb 3 or do an update on this. Thank you for your time.
I'm disappointed. The core gameplay is amazing and up close, the game looks nice. However, all this is held back by the background graphics, which become blurry and pixelated if you look away. The original climb did not have this issue, so I'm wondering what has happened. Plus, this game launched last year, so they should've fixed this by now!
Great but not amazing. I bought this game 3 months ago it’s good but the neck strain after playing for an hour makes me want to delete it but after 20 minutes it goes away but leaves me not playing it for a few days after I saw a guy who broke his neck with neck strain. I do not play games that move your neck so much to the point where you can’t move you neck so in recommend to people with strong necks
A great game. It has a lot of cool map's, cool events, and has great mechanics I love how you have to chalk your hands and you can play casual mode and can go as fast as you can I love this game and hope that there’s a 3rd game
Falling has never been so fun! I’m deathly scared of real rock climbing. But this. This is fantastic! Love the surreal feeling of climbing cliffs with breathtaking vistas. Sure, you get used to it and it feels less “real” after a week or two, but it is still super fun and a beautiful game. There are quite a few levels (20+) with a range of different difficulties to keep things interesting. There are also speed challenges and “no dying” challenges that keep me coming back. Would recommend this game to anybody.
Just wow! The content lasts about 4 hours ( for me ) and it’s very immersive. I highly recommend it as I just got the oculus quest 2 and it’s time consuming. I feel like the developers tried hard to get this top perfectness and it worked. I recommend you get it.
This game is amazing. I’ve been playing this game for a while and I have enjoyed every second of it! At first it is very scary being so high up but after a while the fear goes away. The Climb’s difficulty can get a bit hard especially on professional mode. If you are going to buy this game I recommend playing on casual mode first so you can get used to the maps then go to professional. Overall, 10/10

It's a great game, for the right person. Let's go over the pros and cons:
Pros: It's very fun and has cool mechanics The graphics are great and it's super immersive The locations have great variety, ranging from a sky-rise city to the icy fjords of the North Great gameplay Sound effects are awesome It's really cool to hear your character go "WOOOOOOHHOOOOOOO" at the end of a level Levels themselves and map design are breathtaking and for a mo i forgot i was in a video game and just sat there looking at the view You can pick it up and put it down for a long time
Cons: Music could be a bit better, tho i admit having underwhelming music adds to the realism It could be a bit more exciting, it didn't really get my heart pumping It could be a bit cheaper, the 30 buck price seems a teensy tiny teeny tad overpriced Gets a little boring after a while
Overall, The Climb 2 is a game for the tenacious person who enjoys looking at beautiful landscapes and getting to feel like they're actually there. It's a great game.
10/10 would definitely recommend. This game is breathtaking. I was wanting a kind of hiking game for the view but could not find one at all. I don't even care bc this game has good mechanics and views. Wish that there were physics. Kinda makes me sad there aren't bc the head collision thing breaks immersion when climbing😔
I loved it! This is my first oculus / VR game. When I started the tutorial, I had to take off the headset after 2 minutes because I got scared of the heights! This was with my feet planted firmly on the ground. The locales are beautiful, and I often stop climbs just to look around. The view does make me feel like a -0.5 myope, with everything in the distance just about 20% more fuzzy than in real life. I'm guessing this is a technological limit, or perhaps an attempt by the developers to create a feeling of distance. That said, I'll be climbing mountains again tonight!
Totally awesome immersive game! I have played several games for the Oculus Quest 2. This one is by far one of the most immersive, breathtaking, realistic and active games I have played! This game will really have you thinking that you are rock climbing. Your body feels heavy because you feel like you're really going to fall, you start to sweat because you're nervous, and the built-in speakers on the Oculus with graphic sound effects make it even better. There are a lot of cool free games but I always say that you get what you pay for. This was definitely money well spent.
Good slow paced relaxing game. I think 5 star games should be reserved for absolute must have titles like Beat Saber or Pistol Whip.
The environments are varied but the game could be improved with more or just more maps. This game could be a masterpiece if the Oculus was capable of higher pixel density or a way to make the graphics more detailed and high resolution.
The game can be a bit of a workout for the arms. You definitely get a sense of vertigo but in a good way. Overall I think the game is worth every penny and its replayability depends on what the developers can come up with.
