My Best!
Worklife changing. I have tried every single remote desktop app that is available in the quest store. But THIS is the thing I have been looking for all the time. It’s easy to use, has a great performance and is thoughtfully crafted. I have bought a license for a year after just 45 minutes. Thank you so much. Keep the good work!!!
I think it's a great app. I hope development continues as usual. Great feature to be able to run individual apps in dedicated window inside the app. One thing im missing is being able to run apps like msn messenger with screen sharing capailities, so that one can show friends how great VR is and such. :)
Can’t get virtual desktops to connect g. Nothing connects remotely. No human help anywhere totally sucks. I need human help to set up. If you don’t I will return your 600 dollar pice of sh t. Contact me. Human only!
Hight of monitors too low. It has good features but one major issue, that should be easy to fix though: The hight of the monitors can be adjusted, but only from very low to low, which means you are kind of looking down most of the time. The is a free float mode, but in that one the center point of the screen rotation is also rather around my hips than around my head, which again causes you to look down in a relative position.
Best thing I've found for productivity. Pros: - Multi window, each computer app is an independent window in VR - Remote Control any computer even through internet - Good quality, unnoticeable lag even over mobile data connection
Downs: - Needs better UI, bit more fluid and better icons - Needs better handling of windows moving from/to the Control area to the Work area
Finally, one with basic features! I tried the more popular apps, Virtual Desktop and Immersed before this one, as they have bigger communities and better reviews. While flashy, neither had basic features such as being able to track a keyboard/mouse connected to my quest headset or functional hand tracking. I was easily able to vr into a zoom meeting, seeing the meeting like normal and showing up as my avatar on the call.
You can grab and move screens in a very intuitive way in vSpatial. There is also a focus mode which you can use to really cut off visual input to everything but your work. There are also some small games you can play if you want a break. Overall, I find it very helpful for keeping my ADHD brain focused for longer periods than I can just sitting directly in front of my computer.
IMO stick to Virtual Desktop for gaming integration, Immersed if you need a linux or non-beta mac version or if having fancy environments is your highest priority, otherwise vSpatial is the place to be. Looking forward to what the development team has in store!
What more do you need to be supportive. vSpatial is a remarkable application that has revolutionizes my work flow and how I can virtually collaborate with my team. With multi-OS support, the ability to access multiple remote or virtual workstations from with the application has brought a new standard in being productive why on the go.
The team features enable seamless teamwork with in traditional 2D applications as well as the ability to have an immersive collaboration session with multiple team members.
vSpatial is a game-changer, elevating productivity and taking collaboration to new heights.
Execellent. A unique remote workspace app that allows making each window a standalone screen and remote connection over the Internet. Basically a game changer.
Some issues: - Eye-tracking not working. - I'd like to have facial expression and eyetracking for my avatar. - Would also love to see interactions based on eye-tracking. - Zoom screen-sharing only works in virtual screen mode, not app window mode.
Some wanted features: - More scenes, - Flexible aspect ratios for app windows. - White board support.
Game changer. This app gives you a virtual screen for each program you are running on your PC! Such a great productivity boost! Add to that that you can pull screens from two PC's at the same time. This app is next level!
It even provides a virtual web cam so you can attend Teams and Zoom meetings (with your Ready Player Me avatar) from inside VR.
Ridiculously Awesome App. I love this app. It definitely takes a while to get used to and set up, but once it is set up, it is really cool. It's definitely worth the time to learn how to use it.
