A beautiful, fun story. I generally don't like third person games for VR, and when I saw that this story took place in Wonderland but without Alice, I was put off. But it went on sale and I read a lot of great reviews and long story short, I loved this experience. The visuals are beautiful and well done, presenting a somewhat hand painted look. The method of climbing down the rabbit hole to follow the story is easy to get used to, and makes the collection of small locations feel connected in a bigger physical sense. The puzzles are simple and clever, similar to the ones from A Fisherman's Tale. You occasionally take a first person perspective, but the majority of it is third person. Where other 3rd person games felt disconnected and a waste of VR, this felt more connected, both because of the use of space and the focus on the narrative, as opposed to just jumping and hitting things like some Super Mario style thing. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. If you like a fun story and simple puzzles, you'll enjoy this game.
Immersing & beautifully made!! My immediate impression when the game 1st came on was WOW!!!! Everything about this game was interesting, cute, fun and very wonderfully made. The characters and the little card people look so real. It felt like I was right there in Wonderland. I've always loved the Alice In Wonderland story, and this was just visually pleasing. And I wish there were more games late like this. Gameplay was fun and adaptive. I especially liked how you can pick the whole world up and move it around to see better while holding the branches. If you're looking for a game that you can play stationary but is still immersive and pulls you into the storyline as well as the graphics being amazing, this game is definitely for you!! Highly recommend!!

Fun Game for Casual Players. This game is excellent for people like me who love video games but are bad at them skill-wise. I often find it difficult to sequence button combos and movement timing, but I’m excellent at casually-paced puzzles and strategy work. And while I enjoy games like Red Matter, 7th Guest, and The Room engrossing, the repetitive introduction of puzzles becomes boring after an hour. Down the Rabbit Hole has enough storytelling and character interaction between puzzles and strategic gameplay that it doesn’t have the same effect. If you enjoy fast-paced games that require tons of skill and speed on the controllers, you probably won’t enjoy this. However, if you love games like Moss but sometimes get burnt-out on the skill for sequential button combos and movement timing it requires, you’ll love Down the Rabbit Hole! Lastly, it is a great game for both young and old players—young children to older adults. I almost feel like this would be a good intro-to-VR game for 10+ kiddos who still aren’t adept at more skill-heavy games. And yet the gameplay is enjoyable enough for adults too.
Beautiful game!! What a beautiful game!! It is so well crafted, perfect for a great VR experience. My only negative would be that some puzzles are too hard for my level, or made no sense, for instance, I couldn’t open most treasure chests and not sure about the end, it wasn’t as epic as the whole game. Why an open end? Nonetheless, it is worth playing, a really cute creative game.
Wonderful Wonderland ! As a relatively new VR player I decided to give this game a go and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! Lovely story, amazing graphics and enjoyable gameplay. My favourite game so far. I only wish it was a bit longer…a sequel perhaps?…
One of my favorite VR games. This was the first game that I bought on Meta Quest 2. I wish there were more like it. It truly transports you into a magical interactive world. I felt like a kid in awe of everything. The puzzles were challenging. One of the chests I believe it was in the underwater world gave me the most trouble. I feel like so much thought went into every detail of this game to make it as whimsical and interactive as possible. Even the little baby bunnies if you flick them roll around and squeal which cracked me up every time.
Great atmosphere. Loved to play through the game, even when I didn’t get all the puzzles right and had to solve some of the chests by brute force try n error. If you enjoy a lovely designed world with a nice story telling, mixed up with puzzles, don’t miss this gem.
Brilliant, easy, and engaging. A series of fun and not-diffcult puzzles, interesting artwork, and a fun theme and story line. I'm not sure how much replay-ability it will have given that it's puzzles, but I'll give it a year to forget and then try again. Well worth the money for the entertainment hours.
Awesome game! Fun. This game is really fun, love the graphics. You can get lost in the game and totally lose track of time. Play when you have alot of free time. Only draw back is clues are very hard to find and you can get stuck. So very fun but challenging. Enjoy😉😁
Excellent graphics. This was my first game and it brings you to this unbelievably magical world. You can stick your head through the wall and see into the rooms, and look around like you are there. The puzzles keep you thinking and the graphics are great. I love role play games and puzzles so I gave it 5 stars!
This game is amazing. I do get so caught up in this game that motion sickness seems to come more often with me for this one for some reason. But it's so beautiful and fun and immersive and being very caught up in it is an achievement in itself. If you love anything to do with Alice in Wonderland you can not miss this chance to be a part of it.
Clever game!! I LOVED this!!! I am quite new to VR and this was one of my first purchases! I am a huge fan of Alice in wonderland so I was very impressed and excited to be able to play. Not only play but actually be in the game! Walking down the rabbit hole, solving clever puzzles & eye spy with invites. I recommend this 100% as it was my first experience actually Playing a game in VR! Felt so magical and I can’t boast about it enough!! 🤩 Buy it! Be as amazed as I was!!
