Good!! This is areally chill, relax VR game. It has motion controls but you don't have to move around too much or break a sweat. Maybe not a good game if you wanted a workout but great if you just want to be a witch or wizard on a broom.
Super fun. Wish more still played. So fun & true to series. Took some serious getting used to with the controls. In fact, I'm still kinda learning new tricks. Overall, it's fun and enjoyable to revisit my favorite characters & moments from the series. New updates/courses would be fantastic

I LOVE THIS GAME. The graphics are great so is the story lines
Pretty good! This is an amazing game for people who love the series, it's super fun but there are a few minor inconveniences. For example: The characters' mouths don't move when they are talking on the broom, There are no male avatar options (However that is expected since Luna Nova is a school for witches, not wizards) , The graphics are quite low but I didn't mind it at all, There barely any people on the online play And finally, after you complete the game, it gets pretty boring. But i am still rating it 4 stars because it was really fun to play while doing the races with various characters from the series and the animation is really good!
Brilliant game. I really love this game.To be honest I don’t know why the mouths don’t move when your on the broom? You get to collect crystals and race other players.Even though the fly online part is not that good I still love it!I really like how the creator did the animation and the character design!I think the avatar editor could be better but no matter what I still love this game.
Just sometimes. This game is lit bro- anyway sometimes i rage quit because when im flying(start) im looking forwards and it just keeps on telling me to look forwards and its not moving, but overall its really gooooooooood 😃or im just doing something worng..
Not my expectations but good. The game is pretty good I bought it because I loved the shows but I have had my oculus for around 5 month now and it’s one of the games that have a lot of improving (Note if you like the series and your willing to spend 40 dollars go for it but if you don’t like anime or you you like really good graphics this won’t really be for you.)
Good game for noobs. I didn't have the greatest expectations for this game, given the Quest's hardware limits. I never heard of this developer b4 but they manage to make something that looks and plays great.
Pros
+Great anime look/feel.The characters have really good cel shading and modeling. Its easy to forget they're 3D.
+Fun characters and great voices.I usually watch anime with Japanese voices with subtitles, I am glad this game supports that.
+Simple, customizable controls. I can switch which hands I use for broom and wand.
+/-OK story.I haven't seen the anime this is based off, the story is super simple, no twists but this isn't an RPG.
Cons
-It's too easy. Most tracks a linear with a little obstacle dodging. This is probably how Univrs got their high comfort rating but for gamers who have stronger stomachs and want some more thrill, there's only 1 really challenging course.
-Not 100% skill based. Hardcore gamer skills along aren't enough to beat the shooting level challenges. Anyone who grinds for the best gems can get high scores w/o much skill.
-Not many areas. All the race and shooting courses are in Luna Nova, a Giant Tree and Mushroom Kingodm.Surely there's more popular locations in the anime?
Over all it's a fun game that's a bit short and easy. Wish there was more variety.
I love it. It's a really good and fun game put my childhood dreams into reality living in anime and flying but my only complaint is that it's too short, I wish you were only a lot longer
Could be ok if updated, feels unfinished. Clearly this game is aimed at kids - my daughter loves it. However that can’t excuse putting out a bare-bones game that feels unfinished for the (extremely high) price.
If this was £8.99 it might be reasonable value and heck maybe they would get a lot more sales. But at the full price it’s a bit of a joke I’m afraid. You’re paying a price for an AAA game and getting an extended demo.
The racing is OK and quite fun actually. But there’s just not enough content here. The multiplayer feels half baked - it’s fun to fly with someone else but literally nothing to do other than fly around a very limited area. You can’t even explore all the landmarks as you hit invisible walls and are quickly forcibly put back into the map. Soon gets old.
So if the devs are listening to this please please give us an update. Some Quest 2 graphical updates are badly needed (awful pop up when you move your head, even if stationary!). Some additional locations to race in. And ability to actually do some proper racing with a friend.
If it’s updated it might be a 3 or 4 star game. As it is I’ll probably be refunding it sadly as the value is just not there.
Amazing! I cannot begin to describe how good this title is!
The 3D anime aesthetic is great, the visual novel-like dialogue is fully voiced (make sure to set voices to 🇯🇵 and subtitles to 🇬🇧 for best experience) and the flying itself is super fun!
I thought free-moving VR games gave nausea, but apparently I was wrong, because this game gives me absolutely none.
Leaving ★★★★★ because this is exactly the kind of official anime game I love to see!
If I had to find a flaw, it would be the graphics that are a bit low-poly. I guess it's a limitation that comes with the platform, especially if they want to be compatible with Quest 1. But it doesn't detract from the gameplay at all.
Opium Pulses Review. Based on a Japanese anime, Little Witch Academia is a Broom Racing game that feels like the mixture of Panzer Dragoon and Mario Kart in a Harry Potter Hogwarts Academy set in Japan. It has colourful and cartoon-like graphics that are generally pretty low-poly. As you play, you’ll meet and communicate with various other apprentices at the academy, who will explain aspects of the game and story before and after each race. The races are easy to get the hang of, steer the broom with your left controller and aim your wand to cast spells with your right controller. Picking up boosts and power-ups as you go.
As you compete in races, you’ll earn points and tickets to spend in a store to upgrade and change the appearance of your broom. There’s a single-player campaign and a free-flying multiplayer mode too, although we flew around for over 10 minutes and no one else joined the game. The gameplay is generally pretty shallow and basic and would be the ideal game for young children, especially those that are into themes of witches, Harry Potter, anime or even the world of Little Witch Academia itself. For adults, unless you’re actually into this specific anime I’m not sure how long this would keep you entertained, but we must admit we’re 100% not the target audience for this game.
One thing they seem to have nailed here is keeping motion sickness to a minimum, despite how quickly you move in-game. For us, over the top, super animated voice acting just grates after a while and becomes irritating, it actually feels aimed at children. You can skip each sentence individually or even skip the whole scene to move on to the next race but it’s not made obvious how to do this. Even then once you’re racing the dialogue is screeched at you all the way through, repeating itself multiple times. If the game had a little more depth and player-attracting multiplayer modes this would have rated much higher for us.

OMG I can play. I've tried other VR games where you can move or fly and I got sick which made me really nervous about plunking down for this game. There's a lot of game outside of the races so if you like anime, there's lots of scenes to watch. I managed to play the races without getting too sick. It's easy to wanna play more, but if you rest every few races you will be fine. Runs really well on Quest!
Great Quest 2 Launch Title. This game stood out of the Quest 2 launch line up for it's nice cartoon stylings and overall appeal.
Visually, it's quite a treat. I'm quite a fan of the bright colour palette and sparkly effects. The gameplay is well executed, even if it is a bit simple. Perhaps this game is based on a children's show. Younger players are sure to be delighted to fly around. If you fly off the glowing road, you will be placed back on it. Very forgiving, which is great for youngsters or new gamers. I'm definitely a fan now!
