Great workout. It’s like Fruit Ninja, but they replace the fruit with just more ninjas to attack. It’s a greater workout than Beat Saber and almost as good a workout as Creed.
I initially mistook this game for an archery game because they over emphasize that in the description/demos, it’s been an awesome sword slasher.
A VR Fitness Game Changer!!! This VR fitness game has quickly become one of my all-time favorites, and I've tried nearly every VR fitness game out there. I'll definitely be sharing it with my VR Fitness Assassins group on Facebook. This game has rekindled my passion for my Meta Quest 3. A friend recommended it, and I managed to snag it on sale for just $12.99, so I thought, "Why not give it a try?" I initially expected to spend only a few minutes checking it out. However, 45 minutes later, having burned almost 400 calories, I was amazed at how effortless and enjoyable it was. It didn't feel like a workout at all; it felt like I was gaining valuable life and defense skills. I've now found the tool that's going to help me shed those last stubborn 10 pounds I've been trying to lose, after already losing 35 pounds with VR Fitness. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any VR and karate enthusiasts out there.
Really fun. I am very picky with my VR games and usually end up refunding most of them. But this one is really good, i enjoy the game mechanics, and it's super fun. There is a variety of weapons that are used differently, which keeps the game fun.
Best arm swinging game on quest. I've been playing this game for 2 years and still don't see myself retiring it anytime soon. Unless ninja legends 2 comes out or a clone with ninja🐢
Beautifully awesome! As a current practitioner of ninjutsu, I found the game to be extremely addictive! I love it! There is so much you can do within the game that makes it one you can play for hours. The weapons are awesome and so are the stages. Can't say enough about how truly awesome this game is.
Stand and Wait simulator. You're stationary. So, you're stuck watching enemies show up, then waiting for them to close within attack range. This all happens so slowly that you spend 3/4 of your time standing there waiting, and only 1/4 of your time engaging them.
It's boring. I thought it would be faster paced.
Attacks seem to magically go through enemies, sometimes without registering. Other times the enemy just cuts in two.
Sometimes an enemy seems close enough to engage, but they're magically not as your sword wiffs be them or your stab magically doesn't hit them.
It's not a "bad" game it just needs more action, and better hit detection.

I feel that time has moved on since this game came out. There have been a number of free content updates but there are just better examples of cross genre on quest now - such as Fruit Ninja 2.

Awesome (but only with role play) 4.4/5. This game is solid fun and makes you feel like a ninja. Blocking swords and projectiles, timing your hits, general ninjaness. The only reason I don't play it more is it does not reward good form. It does not care if the blade edge is aligned or you take a big swing. The blades have minimal inertia, so the most effective way to dispatch enemies is to do "wiggle-sword" in their bellies. That being said, if you just want to be a ninja, it is super awesome if you just lean into the role-playing, take big swings and try to slice people in half. Fruit Ninja with ninjas. Ninja Ninja.
Also, they come to you, so no motion sickness. Kinda un-ninja like to be honest. I should be running and hiding and putting fake heads on my shoulders and throwing poison darts. But we're not going for historical accuracy here, we're going for the history written by ninjas after ninjas take over.
Become true Ninja 🎎🧧🎑. This game is for everyone, who would like to experience feeling of true ninja. If you like Japan culture and martial arts, this game is must in your library. Experience ancient ninja weappons and train your reflexes to become best ninja in VR 💥❗❗❗ It is also great for your health, so try this game and let your path to ninja arts mastery begins 📿🧘♂️ If this review was useful, let me give you some bonus: Just add me to friend list and ask for it, you will save some bucks Visit my profile to go to insta
Fruit Ninja but you slice people. This is a great workout if you want to change it up from Beat Saber. No subscription and you won’t even realize it’s a workout until you’re dripping with sweat.
Another plus is that it doesn’t take up a lot of space
Awesome workout. what a rush! This is one of my go to games for a workout in VR. It’s an adrenaline rush of slashing ninjas that really gets the heart rate up. You are rewarded in the game to use full body movements. Fight against waves of ninjas while getting your cardio on.
There is no story, which is fine. It’s an arcade style throwback game that works very well with VR.
