Love it. Make a sequel!!! I actually finished this game around a month ago. Have been busy and unable to write a review until now. I really enjoyed this game from start to finish. The puzzles and enemies start off easy so you can get a feel for things. As you progress the enemies and puzzles get more intense. The boss battles and animation is beautiful. What I enjoyed most about the game is the connection I felt with the main character. Throughout your journey the both of you need to work together to accomplish many objectives. She is very talkative and encouraging throughout the game. After going through many battles and puzzles you really start to feel a connection to the character as if your really in that world. This game was meant for VR and I'm glad I had a chance to experience it.
Fine game. The main heroine is well animated, the overall game design is good, there's a story, some fighting and puzzles. It's a full game and not just another tech demo. Plus, it's good enough to be enjoyable.
It wasn't updated for the quest 3 (yet?) and we can see some kind of blur smack in the middle of our vision. There's also about a third of our vision (the top part) that is highly pixelated. An update for the quest 3 would definitely up the experience on this headset.
Amata.. we need more games like this!! I hope Amata keeps following this formula of single player puzzle and cute companion because it actually works really well in VR! Lol
This was probably one of the only games that made me feel like i was on an adventure, and i also get a cute companion with me heheh (Haru). She is very sweet and helpful, I like that she also asks questions that involve you having to actually nod or shake your head.
The puzzles were actually challenging and rewarding to solve. I really liked the story as well. The art style and divine weapon design is also very well done. The environment is also very pretty!!
I hope to see more from Amata team and Hiromichi Takahashi because they did an amazing job and nailed everything ❤️
Unique anime experience. Love this game. The graphics and art style sells this whole anime fantasy world where you need to work with a mystic. Rare to see dynamic shadows in a quest game! The game play, consisting of almost exclusively point-and-shoot physics based puzzles, is interesting enough to keep you interested for a good chunk, which is through to chapter 4 of 5. The bosses feel epic and require you to apply your lessons from each level. After that, the repetitive gameplay feels rushed. Pointing and shooting feels bland, and I wished I could interact using my hands - the healing mechanism felt buggy since it’s hard to know when you can activate it - at times, the animation gets cut short and my health continues to fill up. You also start to notice that the narrative is delivered only from your anime waifu and her rival. Exploring the environment and getting ambiguous stars don’t feel rewarding as it doesn’t tell you more about this world you’re fighting for. Finally, some bugs were unforgiving. In a later chapter 4 puzzle, one of the bouncer/rolling flaming ball puzzles has more than one “solution”, of which one is less than ideal (not great when this had not been the case until now). In the Hime boss fight, not using the lodestone to line your path will not allow your amplified fire ki to destroy her fire nuclei when exposed, which was greatly frustrating. Then we have Takemikazuchi, by far the worst offender. The pointer, at such great distances, felt janky when trying to get an amplified ki. The lightning device felt frustrating to use when the window of attack is probably 1 second. At times, it was hard to tell when you need to activate the device.

Puzzles! Great puzzle game. Very cool style and world.
Worth full price. Or get it 25prcnt cheaper (the comma is a dot and remove spaces):
Still early but kinda underwelmed. Just started playing and it is still a good game but I was expecting more visually, areas seem static and penned in. Definitely could improve the dubbing. Puzzles could be more diverse using more hand mechanics then your point and click guns. Biggest grip would be the scoring at end of each area loses immersion and gives a cellphone game vibe I could do without. Still charming and fun. Worth a play but more $20 than $30 seems about right.
