Still early but kinda underwelmed. Just started playing and it is still a good game but I was expecting more visually, areas seem static and penned in. Definitely could improve the dubbing. Puzzles could be more diverse using more hand mechanics then your point and click guns. Biggest grip would be the scoring at end of each area loses immersion and gives a cellphone game vibe I could do without. Still charming and fun. Worth a play but more $20 than $30 seems about right.
Incredible. Incredible combination of first person shooter and puzzle game. I love the cel-shaded art style, and the gameplay I'd absolutely addicting. The game is decently long by VR standards, took me 5 hours and 16 minutes to complete my first playthrough. There are 32 levels in total, with 20 of them being puzzle levels, 5 boss levels, and then the game ends off with a Megaman inspired boss marathon for the last 7 levels. I got this game while on sale and it is more than worth the price. The story is pretty good too but the main reason I love it is for the gameplay.
No reason for vr. Its not a bad game, its essentially another puzzle game but with a slight twist that manages to write itself into the story.
The reason for 3 stars is because there's no reason for it to be in vr. Its not particularly amazing with empty areas and all. If it were a regular game it would have been the same except maybe boss battles would be easier.
As others have said the boss battles are the highlight of the game. As for the puzzles they aren't mind numbingly difficult but they can be hard enough to keep you stuck for a while.
The game can be played comfortably sitting and at no point did i experience bugs or have awkward moments where I had to reach but couldn't quite reach and such.
Poor game for a motion sick people. The game is really beautiful and entertaining. But there is one major game breaking problem that It's impossible for me to move the stone and walk at the same time using the teleportation movement and it's the only way that doesn't make me nauseous. The second boss fight is too hard to win that way. I had to abandon the game cause i couldn't progress further.
Nearly had everything I was looking for. New , unusual, .. graphics great ...game play good ,hard ,tricky ,nice .. sometimes needed help ..story could be improved, hope there's a second installment ..liked it more than I thought I would ..would be nicer if it was more diverse... different realm...sidestory...not all puzzle , puzzle, boss fight ...and repeat ..8/10...300 ft boss fight on your face ,like your in the game ...wow..amaze...'d..'d..'d ;¶;(°0°);¶.. although strategic play in boss fights..
VR needs more of this! With all the shooters and rhythm games littering the VR landscape, I appreciate getting a solid solo adventure. I livestreamed this and my viewers really enjoyed it as well.
I knocked off a point because your companion, Haru, talks a LOT, but other than that, this is well executed. The boss battles are some of the best I’ve seen in VR. The game is beautiful to look at, music is perfect, if a bit limited.
Developer please fix the snap turn blink. The snap turn is the only way I’ll play but it does a weird blink every time you do the snap turn so when I’m turning it makes the screen flash and it hurts my eyes I’m sensitive to flashing so I couldn’t even play, I got about 2 mins into the actual gameplay and shut it off so please disable this or give an option so I can actually play this game that I spent 30 dollars on
Fun puzzle combat. Must-play game if you like VR puzzle games, and I played almost all of them. Puzzles aren't difficult but satisfying-; mostly physics- based. The boss fights, which are kind of puzzles themselves, are where the game shines.
