Love love love! Rarely does a game make me feel so connected to a character. The story took a while to figure out, but once I understood the narrative structure it was magical. I'm trying to forget the puzzles so I can rediscover it, but I can't get it out of my head. Maybe someday it'll be new again, I just have to wait. "I've got time."
Great Game. At first I thought that this was too easy. I’m glad I gave it a chance. Great puzzles and great story. Some puzzles were difficult enough that I had to sleep on it but I was able to solve all of them. There was on glitch, on the last puzzle, the teleport didn’t work for ascending the steps. It took me a while to realize that I could use the smooth travel mode to get past that.
Read this for a 25% discount! Shadow Point is a story-driven VR puzzle game set between a mountaintop observatory and an ever-changing fantasy world.
Shadow Point is an engaging and fun game. The lateral but logical thinking needed to complete each area is a testament to the creativity and cleverness of the developers. The way they were able to explore and expound the simple notion of shadow puppets to such a degree should be commended. Shadow Point is a near masterwork in environmental puzzle games and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys stretching their brains in uncomfortable ways. Moreover, Patrick Stewart is in it, and that guy is awesome.

Good game but…. Fun puzzles, but towards the end it did overstay its welcome. I know, people are more likely to complain about a game being to short, so when a game isn’t, it should be great..? Well, the puzzles just stay the same so it is just more of the same over and over and I got a bit tired of them. BUT that was only towards the end, they were definitely fun initially. Another thing though I want to warn about is accessibility: this game is not friendly to people who have trouble with fine motor skills. I do not have trouble with that at all and yet I sometimes struggled with the game; imagine people with disabilities in this area. Bit of a bummer, they should tweak that a bit better.
Terrible motion sickness. I had to stop playing before I left the room attached to where you spawn. It gave me horrible motion sickness. The part I got to play seemed okay, graphics wise and tracking. I just couldn’t handle the jumping around the room. My eyes seeing fast motion while I am not really moving is what did me in. Unfortunately I was just able to try for a refund but I missed the 14 day window that I thought was 30. 🤷♀️ it is what it is.
I have 3 kids and I've purchased the game. But the game does not allow different users to play the game without having to repurchase the game (in my case 3 more times). All other games, once purchased, are accessible to other users on the same device.
This means my kids overwrite my or their siblings progress each time they play.
Love it. Still playing the game, loving the puzzles, but a bit fiddly, especially trying to get to a few bits , keeps going out of game area. Still great game and can’t wait to get to the end, thanks again meta quest xx🇯🇲🏴😜🥳🥰
Excellent first game. Just purchased an Oculus, the first time I have used any type of VR, I found this game to be a very very good starter game for people like me who are new to VR, and the other side of 50 lol, Excellent gameplay really nice graphics, good storyline and the puzzles well thought out which really made you think about how to solve them, I would highly recommend anyone of all ages to add this to they collection.
Want to like it. I like the game itself. But find it frustrating that there is no easy or obvious way to exit and save. So I have had to restart and lost all of my progress several times now.
I have just completed the whole journey. It took more than 2 months and I think the actual play time was about 20 hours. I am puzzle game lover but some blocked part was helped by walkthrough video. But the overall puzzles were moderate difficulty and interesting story and beautiful graphics made it a great game to complete. In particular, thankfully, I overcame motion thickness completely when finished. Smooth movement was easier to proceed than jump movement, and there was not much long movement, so it was advantageous to overcome motion thickness while focusing on puzzle itself.
Chapter 8 the garden. It keeps freezing on me in this chapter. I have been playing the games for a couple of weeks and have really enjoyed it until now. Every time I try to make the shadow for the second puzzle in chapter 8 the garden, it freezes up on me. Help! how do I fix this?
Space. In shadow point there is a glitch, it keeps saying I left the game space. It’s keeps happening the farther I get into the game. I have leave the game and reset, it’s getting ignoring and frustrating.
I tried to send this to support but it would not go through.
This is a great game be way better without the glitch!
Great puzzler that builds on itself. Lots of fun, good story. Cute graphics. Great voice acting. I had a touch of nausea when trying to think in three dimensions, repositioning things upside down or in mirror images but it’s all good. For those who say it’s boring you must be geniuses because each level adds a new component to the puzzles. If you start it and go “ah, this is easy” just keep playing! If you make it all the way through and still think it’s easy then sign up for Mensa or something…

繰り返し。メチャクチャ。 レビューが高かったので楽しみにしていたのですが、グラフィックの質ではRoomのような現代的な作品と比べると本当に時代遅れな印象で、プロダクションバリューではI expect You to Dieです。 グラフィックは非常に低解像度で、物語成分も途切れ途切れで分かりにくい。 パズルは多少オリジナリティがあるが、全体的に非常に繰り返しの多いものに仕上がっている。 同梱版でなければ、おそらく返品していただろう。

Repetitive. Meh. I was looking forward to this game given the high reviews, but it seems really dated compared to more modern offerings like the Room in terms of graphics quality and I expect You to Die in production value. Graphics are very low resolution and the narrative component is choppy and confusing. The puzzles show some originality but by and large end up being very repetitive. I probably would have returned it had it not been part of a bundle.
Unique adventure. I enjoy the game but wanted to suggest they change how the game loads. It’s blinding white. It would be better to be dim. It hurts the eyes. I have to close mine but it’s still bright when I do that. Then the game comes on & it’s darker. Eyes then have to adjust. Think this could be valuable change for players. Other than that it’s been a enjoyable game. I do get a little motion sick from the moving place to place but that’s more tolerable than the blinding white light at start up & in between game levels.
