PozeAR is an Augmented Reality martial arts training app.
We record the movements of
real experts performing real moves
using optical motion capture, then let you step into their shoes and learn pozes from your own perspective.
FOR STUDENTS
Get motivated
with a scoring system, difficulty levels, and achievement medals.
Prepare for each move
using step-by-step yellow guides showing hand forms, body rotation, leg heights and more.
Aim each move
using the red target. The front of the target changes to show the type of strike you should use.
Follow fast movements
with the help of motion trails.
Hear your instructor
provide step-by-step audio instructions.
Two virtual, lifesize 3D instructors
are in-front and behind you at all times, performing the moves.
Fit your body
by adjusting height, arm lengths, leg lengths and more.
Analyse your performance
by watching a lifesize 3D replay of your actual moves. A true 'out of body' experience!
FOR INSTRUCTORS
Free up instructors:
spend less time teaching patterns, more time helping students refine their technique and master more advanced skills.
Add variety to training:
rotate students through stations, some spending time in PozeAR, some one-on-one tuition, some group work.
Help students learn faster:
by teaching all moves from their own perspective, PozeAR capitialises on student's muscle memory. Without realising, students can learn a new pattern in as little as 30 minutes.
This game is amazing! I can also kick and block! For now, there is only Taekwondo, but it looks like Karate and Kung Fu will be coming in the future.
What I am concerned about is that locked patterns cannot be purchased without going to the website. It cannot be purchased in-game. I want to add a pattern, but I can't re-enter the code.I would like to be able to create additional patterns within the game.If so, I'll be purchasing all the patterns!
Taekwondo Training - Poomsae in VR! Strongly recommend this VR app for any Taekowndo student who wants some extra coaching at home. As a 1st Dan Blackbelt, the “coach” corrected some of my positioning for extra practice. Of extra note, the training also shows you the “set” or starting position and follow through, not just the “end” position. Amazing start to what is going to be an excellent at-home Poomsae training supplement. If you’re training in Taekwondo and have a Quest, then this is a no-brained download to check it out.
has potential. Some things I didn't like: 1. The orange menu that you're supposed to stand in is outside of my play space. 2. The trainer guy looks too big and cartoony. Would be better if it was a hologram like the trailer 3. Don't like having to jump through hoops to purchase content. Just make it a DLC that I can purchase inside the app itself.

壁で膝を骨折した クソゲームを直せよ、俺は家が短いんだ そして私は寝室でしかVRをプレイしていない、どこにも行けない witch is nuts
I NEVER REVIEW OR COMMENT.... I have been so bored with these so called Martial Arts training games or apps.... But THIS!!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE THROW ALL MARTIAL ARTS ON THERE!!! Kung Fu Karate Muay Thai etc etc... This is the BEST Martial Arts training app I've ever seen! I'd give 10 stars if I could! AWESOME JOB GUYS THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! 🙏🙏
Fun way to practice! Finally a mixed reality application that actually makes good use of it! So many gimmicky MR apps out there. I’m pretty new to karate, so being able to see my body while I’m going through routines is absolutely crucial. This app delivers on it.
Highly recommend giving it a shot. Miles better than other regular VR karate trainers. MR makes all the difference.
This game is great! Learning martial arts takes a lot of repetition to build up muscle memory. With this game you can have the virtual instructor next to you in your own room so that you can practice as many times as you like. Not only that, but the game provides with an outline of the instructor that you can step in, so that you can follow his movements from his own perspective!
I think this is the future of martial arts training, I feel it would be great to train for grading, and although it obviously does not substitute sparring at the gym it surely makes your technique more solid before you get there!
Thanks to the developer! Looking forward to Karate :)
A must for the martial artist! This is the kind of martial art VR/MR app I have wanted for years. At the moment it is for Taekwondo however the developer is looking at adding karate also. This is so much better than practising kata by watching YouTube videos and trying to figure out what you should be doing by looking at different video angles. This is like being in a class being shown how to do techniques and you can learn kata quickly with this method that is very well implemented. Download this app and demo it at your dojo and support this devs great work
Great idea in this AR exercise game. 👏. First, thank you developers for this, I liked it and enjoyed very much. I did my karate 30 years ago, this app help me to enjoy it again at 64 year old. Thank you
