“If you're not afraid of evil entities appearing from time to time just behind your neck, you're in for a treat with this little game that's sure to give you some very enjoyable (or horrifying...) moments.” - ETR
Inspired by 1990's cult classic horror movies, Dark Days stands as an adventure horror game of its own. From an eerie motel to a haunted desert, solve puzzles and progress towards a disturbing truth. Dive in an American nightmare, immerse yourself in cinematographic environments, but be careful and think smart! Something is hunting you. There's only one rule: if you look at it, this nightmare kills.
❏ An emotional, story heavy supernatural investigation
❏ Accessible gameplay and randomized puzzles
❏ You're the prey, so be smart or be ready to scream!
Many Problems Solved. Updated Review (Original Below)The Devs have done a smashing job implementing Smooth Turn as an option (although finding the options menu was a momentary problem... it's the Y Button for those that are looking) and although the movement is still a little clumsy, I managed to play quite a bit of the game in one sitting without too many issues, the game doesn't really explain itself very well, but then that could also be viewed as a positive in many respects... I will keep an eye on this one and hopefully it will continue to develop, as there is a definite gem here, that just needs a bit more polishing.---------- Original Review --------------What looks like a fabulous game, is seriously hampered by the horrible character movement, the enforced fade to black snap turn is stomach-churning (and this is from someone who has never suffered from VR motion sickness), if Smooth Turn could be added as at least an option it would enhance the gameplay 100 fold, also less than 15 minutes into the game I was thrown into the air and placed outside the game area, with no way of getting back in, without restarting the entire section... What looks like it could be a terrific little game, needs lots of attention still... If it were to get a decent update, I'd append my review rating.

A Cinematic VR Experience That Pulls You. Dark Days is a captivating blend of point-and-click mechanics and physically active storytelling. From the very beginning, the opening credits give it the feel of an interactive film with real depth. The execution is top-notch — from the gritty Nevada setting to the moody lighting, thoughtful script, and truly exceptional music that often reminded me of The Last of Us in tone and emotion. What really sets it apart is how deeply immersive the world feels. You’re not just watching a story unfold — you’re part of it. Whether it’s retrieving your ID from the car, or remembering to close the motel door before sleeping, every small detail adds to the realism and sense of presence. It’s cinematic, tense, and beautifully atmospheric.A hidden gem that deserves to be discovered — highly recommended for anyone looking for a narrative-driven VR game that feels like living through a suspenseful indie film.
