Old School Horror Space Maze Generator. Old School Graphics that work great for the horror art style of the monsters.
Authentic sound and design that feels like your in a old/wrecked space ship that was invaded by monsters.
Randomly generates room with other randomization options that makes it feel different each play through.
Only thing I’d say might annoy players is the old/low polygon style if you are a visual person (but I think it adds to it-same about no sprinting as it lets you take in the surroundings and feel more afraid since the monsters are faster then you so you can’t rush things) Or that when you die, you have restart - it can be annoying but that’s just how the game is designed and I think it adds to the experience.
Keep in mind it’s a random maze/map generator so that means - may not always be enough health/weapon loot to keep you alive, to many monsters at once, or be able to memorize where things are.
I would highly recommend it as a must have, especially for its price tag, to any VR horror players. (Very close to the Alien Isolation game)
one of the best. ok so scifi horror survival in space, wow is this game freaky sometimes. one life and everytime you start again the layout, rooms, monsters and collectables change. its fun though exploring this huge dark derelect space station with just a flashlight to guide your path... great time killer and pretty addicting figuring out your stragety with what you have available.. very well done
Phenomenal. Recently purchased my first VR headset, and the first game I bought was this one. It's a great little roguelike with horror, feels like a passionate group wanted something DeadSpace esque for VR and so far they've hit it outta the park. The crafting aspect with unlockables was a nifty feature I wasn't expecting after going in blind, and the limited battery feature that not only lights up rooms but also kills enemies for good is a very cool concept. It's got scares, but dying doesn't feel all that bad. Collect some blueprints and try again. Would definitely recommend.
Scary indeed. It's great at being scary, I would live to see more mods that helped the player so they felt like rewards. Not sure the last time it was updated but it would be nice to see something extra come from such a great horror style game
Perfect level of scariness! I love thie concept. Stuck on a space ship and trying to find your way out, and evey run is different from the last. Just perfect game to play through a loop and see how far you get until the space creatures get to you, or you run out of air. It also feels related to Alien Isolation (but that required PCVR).
And a tip if you think this game might be too scary: turn off the music and lower your in game volume to a minimum.
This way it feels more like a exploration game than a horror title. It still gives you the creeps but doesn’t freak you out. And once you learn the game and want it to be more scary then up the volume and turn on that music score.
