FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ADD AUTOSAVE. The amount of times I've had to redo an annoyingly long stretch of gameplay over and over again because there's no save. I don't wanna have to redo 15 minutes of gameplay 5 times just because I keep getting swarmed, especially when i only have so much battery life to play it. i love the game otherwise, but WOW does it need autosave

Let The Haters Hate. All the negative reviews had me scared to grab this game but I'm sure glad I did. The atmosphere and sound effects keep you on the edge of your seat. You are IN the world of Aliens. To me, it's almost perfect. The lighting, the vents, sparks, the darkness, the Aliens, the scare factor have all been well worth the price so far. Because of the negative reviews, I was expecting some clunky, flat surfaced Nintendo 64 type nonsense but this game is fantastic to me. Like I said earlier, you are IN the world of Aliens. The graphics look good to me on the Quest 3. Is it a high end gaming PC look????No, but it IS good. My ONLY complaint if it's even really a complaint is the gun mechanics and accuracy take a little getting used to. Hold on to the front of it with your off hand and hang on. Don't try to aim. Just shoot. The Aliens look just like the movie and move accordingly. They come from vents, the ceiling, hidding in the dark....everywhere. If you're a fan of the Alien franchise, shooters and creepy survival horror games then this is a must for your VR library. 👍👍👍👍👍

Overall, really good. A couple of things. The gameplay is great although picking things up can time be a little bit difficult… The graphics are very good and the atmosphere and sense of tension is through the roof. The storyline is good and ignore the people saying it is just a little bit ’ woke’.  clearly they are the Twitter generation who are triggered by real storylines and real peoples stories. I appreciate the lack of auto save is difficult for some people but it actually enhance the game for me having to get from ATB a few times without dying.A thing that would definitely be improved is the ability to change the difficulty level during the game, like many other games nowadays… I am about to a quarter of the way through and I’ve had to restart to lower the difficulty level as I can progress after a few days and it gets quite repetitive doing the same section and fear that I would come across this again possibly later on if by some chance I managed to get in the lift (no spoilers)Fix the difficulty level and the ability to change it mid game and make it easier to pick up things especially in a hurry was being chased by a few aliens… And this would be five stars

Imagine if ALYX was ported to Quest 3. Listen, everybody has opinions. And everybody's entitled to them. Everything is arguable. Everything is subjective. Nobody could ever have the DEFINITIVE opinion on something. SO I'm here just to give you MY thoughts on this absolutely NERVE THRASHING, REALISTIC LIVING NIGHTMARE experience that is this game. Is the resolution of the rendering the same as the PCVR version? Of course not. Shame on you if you thought it would be. Remember the hardware. BUT.. is the ATMOSPHERE, the MUSIC, the clever feeling of WEIGHT of everything you hold, the interaction with almost everything..... THE FEAR.... is THAT ALL THE SAME? Absolutely. I've never played a game thus far that within ONE HOUR my nerves are saying "Ok, that's enough, we can't stay ELEVATED that long..". It's that good. For those of you who say the Aliens attack the same way each time... I'm not entirely sure what game you were playing... each time I played, they would strategize differently depending on YOUR location. My normal strategy of once I know where they're coming from putting as much space between me and them so I can get clear shots... NOPE.. they would LUNGE in one swoop and get me. They crawl out of the vents.. out of the ceiling panels.. out of open windows, doors... you're NEVER relaxed... there's always SOMETHING LURKING and you can HEAR it. If you ever wanted to know what it's like to really LIVE in the ALIEN UNIVERSE... then this experience is all you need. And to explain my review title, I really believe that if someone PORTED HALF LIFE-ALYX (my all time favorite VR game) to the Quest 3 it would NOT be superior to this experience. So if you're looking for maximum resolution through and through then get the PCVR version.. but if you also appreciate NOT NEEDING TO HAVE YOUR PC nearby or even ON and the convenience and speed with with you can begin your adventure then the Quest 3 version holds its own confidently and truly rocks. It's officially my FAVORITE native Quest 3 title ever.

This should have been called Alien Lesbian Incursion. Ridiculous gender politics pushing throughout the game. Give it a rest already. It completely depletes the quality of the writing. The actress who does the voiceover for the lead protagonist is not good and becomes grating early on in the game. The game play involves a lot of backtracking and the same constant mini puzzle to open doors. Not much creativity there.
