Epic masterpiece. I remember the first Tale being very short but pretty trippy with the constant changes in scale. Another Tale absolutely blows it out of the water (pun intended).
Seriously, buckle up. The mechanics are fiendishly clever. The physics are spot on, if you're living in Alice in Wonderland. There's a thing called a "backwards brain bike" that basically is welded so turning the handlebars right will make the wheel go left. That's what this reminded me of in a lot of puzzle, where your perspective will be turned upside-down but you still have to maneuver through an environment. It's also like the game Twister, where you have to think very hard about what one hand is doing while the other does something completely different. "Trippy" is being gentle.
But the puzzles are a perfect balance between cleverly challenging and reasonably solvable. There are no time limits on anything (I spent a lot of time in some rooms just standing in place trying to work out the game plan for my brain). Underwater games creep me out (I saw Jaws in the theater as a child), and the obvious progression toward facing the Kraken made me very nervous that something scary would happen, but the game always sidesteps back into whimsical before it actually gets frightening. And even though I love puzzle games, I always need to cheat a little. I didn't have to here. Solutions are readily obvious (or at least less obtuse) by looking around more closely. And the longer you play, the more you realize this game is really special.
I don't finish many games, but I don't think this happens often. As the closing credits rolled, I just sat and took it all in. "Wow" doesn't even cover it. The kind of game I will think about for years to come. I think one of my favorite things about it is there is no real violence. No killing things (spoiler alert). The ending was very compassionate and beautiful. Just, whatever is above "wow" is what I thought.
Outstanding Game!!! This was one of the best puzzle games I’ve played in a very long time! It was great to see Bob again but I loved the story of his wonderful family and got very invested with Nina and her Mum. The puzzles were again absolutely fantastic throughout and were by no means easy, right to the end. I can’t wait for the adventures of Nina someday! Congratulations on the birth of all your little Fishes!!! How wonderful for you all.

Great Heart-warming story!! Fantastic, beautiful game. One of the best stories I have come across while playing VR. I was a fan of the first game and part 2 did not disappoint in the least. Clever puzzles, Great scenery, and Incredible story. I was engaged from start to finish. If your a fan of the first game I strongly recommend playing this beautiful game. I'm crossing my fingers for a third installment of this series!!?
Great Game! When I first started using my Meta 2, I experienced motion sickness and was pretty sad thinking I can’t enjoy VR. I decided to give this game a try. The comfort settings make all the difference for me. The smooth free roam movement with vignette helped a lot. I can’t play more than 1-2 save points at a time, but it’s good to take breaks anyway.
THIS GAME REQUIRES LOGICAL THINKING. It was not hard for me to progress, but I could see how people that aren’t good with logic could become frustrated and get stuck. If you don’t like to figure out logic puzzles, don’t get it.
