Five years after the events of DEAD SECRET, a razor-wielding maniac with a penchant for circles is prowling the wintry streets of Chicago. Follow the clues to a dilapidated apartment building and its down-and-out tenants, each with something to hide. Investigate their apartments, collect evidence, and pay attention to your dreams to solve the riddle of The Laughing Man before you meet his blade.
Slow-burn psychological horror. Nothing is as it seems.
In DEAD SECRET CIRCLE you can freely explore every nook and cranny of the highly detailed environment with full locomotion. Solve devious puzzles in classic Adventure format. Collect items, review the clues, and unlock the secrets of this strange building. You can run, you can hide, but you cannot fight The Laughing Man. Your only weapon is your wits. Find alternate endings, a huge collection of hidden items and documents, and branching dialog paths.
Haunting original score by Ben Prunty (FTL, Darkside Detective, Into the Breach).
Incredible Attention to Detail. The detail put into the narrative, characters and especially the environment is absolutely lovely and masterfully crafted. The developers have an impressive talent for building up an incredibly tense and chilling atmosphere.
I wish it didn't hurt to play. The snap turn makes it hard to comprehend where I am and the tunnel vision obscures too much of my vision when I walk. This game is uncomfortable to play if you don't have motion sickness. I wish there was a toggle to turn it off. Couldn't really get far without my head fog from vision confusion.
Good murder mystery game. If you like murder mysteries, exploring, creepy places, stories, and solving puzzles, I think you’ll enjoy this game. The price is good, length is good. I was able to solve all puzzles but 1. Some took a bit and were a good level of difficulty. That office combo lock is killing me though. Some negative reviews mentioned the vignette. It is a pretty subtle vignette. Sometimes a bit annoying as you can tell something is obscuring your vision, but it’s fine most of the time. At the end and at 1 other time I tried to go upstairs and couldn’t. I was stuck in the basement, so I quit to main menu, then continued the game and everything worked fine.
I enjoyed playing the game but as someone has said before there are glitches at the end of the game it is worth it but they should add more levels like maybe she becomes a private investigator and have more cases
Good game. I have played a lot of games on the Oculus. This was a pretty good game although a little glitchy. The only time I had to reboot it was towards the end. I enjoyed looking through everything and trying to figure out the clues although I didn't figure out all of them but still got to the end. I am wondering though if there are multiple endings. It says in the description there are but I don't understand how. Has anybody else seen multiple endings? I'd hate to replay it and just to find out there aren't.
A Scary Challenging Ride. I enjoyed this game immensely. The special effects and background music added to the overall dread of the game. The jump scares were crazy good. I really did scream in my apartment! The puzzles were challenging. I did have some issues. Some of the objects (clues?) gathered did not relate to the outcome of the mystery, as far as I could tell. They just revolved around reading a lot of material that wasn’t helpful to finding the murderer. I actually didn’t read some of the text because it was so lengthy and was still able to finish the game. I was momentarily stumped on the building blocks puzzle. Not sure if it was my VR console or how the game is designed, but placing the blocks on the pole was very difficult. Didn’t mind the vignettes. The reveal of the killer seemed to come pretty quickly. Overall, a good game with a foreboding atmosphere that led to some genuine scares.
Please add option to disable blinds. The game is a great horror story with a proper longevity (5-7 hours) and graphics for the price, but everything is pretty broken by forced blinds. Every time you move the view is scaling down by having aggressive blinds around your eyes. It is getting pretty hard on eyes after some time.
Please add option to disable blinds as the game itself is very good but hard to play in this state now.
Fabulous game, please remove the blinder. Just started game and it's seriously excellent, good mystery suspense suspense , game play nice graphics. For the money it's a must buy. But developers please remove the horrible tunnel vision blinders called vignette.
Mediocre. I don’t know. It was $20 and in the beginning it seemed like it had promise but by the third floor (about a third of the game) I couldn’t wait for it to be over.
It’s linear like being on a ride with almost no choice or purposeful interaction. Even when talking to people you get a notepad of answers to select and usually there’s only one answer to select. Any time there are multiple responses it didn’t matter- you always came back to the one that moved it forward.
A lot of the aspects of the game made little sense, having the least tie in possible to what was happening. A ton of reading filler to make you invest more time but it really isn’t that great of storytelling.
It has a point and click interaction which was fine but it was extremely hard to trigger some events. I spent a lot of time going in circles simply because what I needed wasn’t selectable and that was really frustrating.
The fourth floor (almost at the finale) was horribly bugged. I almost wasn’t able to finish the game.
And the ending! Absolutely the worst.
It was a good attempt. A decent price. Just not very well executed. No pun intended.
Pretty good so far. I’m not very far into it yet but so far it is a very interesting game, priced just right. However, is there any way to adjust the player height? I work long hours on my feet and don’t want to have to stand when I play. Playing seated gives you the perspective of playing as a kid. Also, as others have said the blinders are really annoying.
Really Neat Idea. I’m pretty new to VR, so I have basically no basis for comparison, but I enjoyed this game a lot. I thought the idea of figuring out the identity of a serial killer was a really cool premise, and the game helps you along enough that I didn’t get stuck anywhere and just lose patience and give up (which is most of my experience with video games in general). The graphics are really nice, the sound effects are well done, and the story keeps you engaged. I did stop reading the book excerpts about halfway through, and the game definitely glitches in places the further you get into it, but I would still recommend it!
One of the Best Mystery Games ive played. quite a few hours into Dead Secret Circle already (as I had early access) and I am in love with this game...
It is "point and click" style game however that does not take away from the feeling of dread and atmosphere in the game, in fact I think it makes it work quite well.
I am very excited to keep pushing deeper into the serial killer mystery and find out who the killer is
if you are a fan of scary games and murder mysteries I can't recommended it enough
Not normally my thing, but this is great. I don’t normally play games like this, but I gotta admit… I’ve played for 90 minutes so far and I’m really enjoying the story and solving the puzzles.
If you wanna see some of the gameplay, check out my video (but I’ve added no spoilers)

Also there are discount codes attached to all my YouTube videos of the game in the video.
You’re gonna love this game if you like horror, mystery, puzzles and exploring.
