What happened?. After enjoying the physics and the feel of the stadium and everything else about the game...amazing ball trajectory, realistic difficulty, variety of bowling , excellent bat tracking and impact point precision.....what the hell happened ?? The latest update is too bright , extremely laggy choppy rendering and overall really uncomfortable experience. Now that I have made a habit of playing this ...I try to endure and start feeling motion sick with the picture jumping around. I think they tried to make it brighter to add sunlight and then shadows to match. It screwed everything up. Also suddenly defending the ball on the highest difficulty sends it for a six making the whole experience really disappointing.
Why guys? You had an amazing game !!

良いゲームです。 両手でバットを持つオプションと、もう少し見やすくする必要がある。

Good game. Should have option to hold bat with 2 hands and need little better visualisation
Fun. This is fun. The difficulty comes in gripping your controller like a bat. If you’ve played cricket in real life this is uncomfortable but use left hand to grip controller and right on ring.
What really needs an improvement is that it needs to recognize the body. I know it’s easier said than done but there has to be someway to recognize a body where ball would not go to the stump (and isn’t lbw) May be the bat swing can aid a natural body movement ? It becomes a problem with leg spin (to a right handed) when pitching outside leg. There’s no way I’ll be bowled in that trajectory.
fantastic.. and i dont even like cricket. got the demo and gave it a go. not a massive fan of cricket but this is really good. holding the bat with one hand is weird but you get used to it. the geering when you get bowled out is annoying but only in a "i cant believe ive been bowled out" way. its a mix of old school graphics and imersive playability. love it
Update please. This game is awesome. But I would like the maker of this game to UPDATE few thinks. There is no umpire standing there so it would be very nice if umpire is there and giving all types of signals. Second thing is that when ur playing ODI it has to be in color uniform with white ball. Third thing can you add pads. Once again the game is very fun enjoying.
My activity partner. First of all I would like to thank the dev team who build this game in such a realistic way. Once I wear headset I tend to forget I am in VR world. This is so realistic.
This game has become my activity partner. I love to do excersize but due to busy life style I often miss to go to gym . But then I have this game, it's literally takes sweat of of me 😂
Few suggestions.
1. Bat should have double handed grip. Currently we can play with only one controller. 2. When I am playing shot and if accidentally press navigate button of left side controller, my entire positive got messed up this is quite irritating in middle of the batting. 3. Adding comenty will make this game more realistic 4. Graphics can he improved, but what we have currently is also not less. 5. Sometime it's shows completely different spot where ball touches to the bat and the it go completely opposite direction than ever it should be.
Overall this game is awesome and very very addictive. I can not sleep without playing this atleast one a day. It was 3.00 AM when I played this game last night 🤣
Fantastic VR batting simulation! If you've played cricket before then the only danger with this game is it might make you retire and just play this! ALternatively, it might improve your batting as it is very realistic with fantastic physics and tracking. I strap the controller to a plastic bat for optimal immersion. The menu's aren't fancy, but the actual batting is spot on. Brilliant batting simulation with a lot of variety and huge potential. Get it now.
A lovely Cricket Experience in VR. Firstly my rating of 5* is because this is a demo full of extras, and in my opinion Cricket feels very natural in VR (Extremely hard for a screenshot/video to give the feeling of being able to look around at the field, work out your next shot, stamp down the crease etc).
The game feels lovely, its like 'County Cricket' on a Sunday afternoon. Clearly the dev is looking for a realistic simulation, one that has you nervous to face the next ball, but equally feeling a sense of pride as you time a drive off the middle of the bat through the covers for four.
There are several modes hidden behind the initial demo (you can face a target, having to score x runs from a number of overs from one type of delivery, or you can try and survive a number of overs instead of trying to score....both are equally fun.)
The Dev is active as well and I believe is working hard on updates and future options, and again this is just the Demo so I presume the types of bowlers/matches are limited, but will be available in the full version.
The whole feel of the stadium is nice, and certainly if you are a 'cricketer' you will you enjoy the feeling of standing in the middle ready to face a barrage of pace or spin (and the spinners really do test you, they have some lovely deliveries).
I also like the way you can play a defensive game if you want, or you can look for quick 1s and 2s as well (its not a full on smash and grab game) and I am sure with the introduction of full matches in the game this will become much more evident.
My only issue is that Cricket isn't a game for everyone, and this may limit the audience willing to 'give it a go' but if you are on the fence then what is there to lose, its a lovely feeling and VR is made for this sort of environment. And if you are a cricket fan definately give it a go.
App crashes when loading. Crashes on startup for me. Tried uninstalling and downloading again. Hopefully an update will fix this for me, and I can adjust the score accordingly.
Almost good. I played the demo version for few days now. It is pretty cool. The bowler varieties, pace are all spot on. But the biggest drawback for me is the side trigger for holding bat. When i go for a drive/shot after the ball is bowled, given the small size of the controller, my finger unintentionally hits the bat hold trigger and the bat ends up in the air. This has happened more than few times and it is very annoying.
Once the bowler is in his stride or the back trigger is hit to face the next delivery, there should be no way the bat should be released and in the air until the ball is complete .
If these minor annoying issues are taken care, this will probably be the best VR Cricket game
Really good so far. It's great to see another Cricket game on Quest. I really like the physics for this and the range of bowlers. It seems more realistic than the other option. I hope you go on to finish this and release the full version. As is, it's great fun for free!
Suggestions to improve include making it easier to adjust the bat position and the player's height. And ideally to be able to save those settings. Don't get me wrong, it is already ok to get the bat in the right position but it would be great to get it absolutely right, then save that position. At the moment I keep accidentally pressing the 'bat-grab' button and dropping the bat and having to reset it.
Other improvements are fairly obvious and you are probably already considering them. Firstly, the chance to bat for longer, say up to 20 overs. Bowling would be great but I know that is probably a whole new game. Maybe there could be a mini strategy type option such as being able to choose bowlers and fielders against the opposition batting team (like in the Cricket Captain games). Then play in first person as the batsmen chasing the oposition target. And a minor complaint is that the easiest setting (Village) seems quite tough.
But anything extra at this point would be great. The feeling of standing in the middle, facing a range of bowlers, and the physics are allgreat. Thanks!
Realistic. Loads of fun, and it feels very realistic - with the swing and the spin and different bowling styles, it feels like this could be more than a game and actually good for practice. The 'pro' level is definitely pro though! The spin challenges are fun and the fireworks when you hit a 6 are a nice touch too.
Crashes every time I launch it. I was excited to download this app but it keeps crashing on my quest 2. Happy to change the rating if it ever launches successfully.
