Arcaxer is a turn based VR RPG with first person action oriented combat, and a 3rd person god-view overworld set in a sci-fi simulation filled with colorful AI characters.
In the overworld you will explore procedural dungeons to find equips and new abilities for your character. You can access the hub world to interact with NPC's and buy new items with the credits that you earn in the dungeon.
Even though combat is turn based you must dodge enemy attacks with your body, and aim and time your own attacks with gestures. Can you make it to the top of "The Stack"?
Player Classes Choose fighter, thief, or mage to drastically change which abilities you learn as you level up your character.
Fighter: A class with a focus on physical attacks Mage: A class with a focus on Hax, the game's special abilities. Thief: A class with wildcard abilities that can change the tide of battle.
Addictive & Fun. I have spent around 3 hours playing and this is just the demo!! I will definitely be buying the full game!!!
The gameplay is super addictive and the combat system is amazing. Dodging enemy attacks in room scale feels so good and the intense boss fights are just so immersive and pure fun. I played on hard difficulty and it took a good 6/7 tries to beat the second boss
This was made by a cool gamer. It has all the features I would've wanted if i could make a game. Retro JRPG mechanics in VR space. The demo lets you do so much and try everything. If you’re a fan of turn based JRPG you’ve gotta give this a try.
One really cool thing Ive noticed is the status effects are very well implemented into VR. When enemy cast a blind/vision dimming spell you literally have trouble seeing their attacks. That’s so cool!

Chest under the main map. Is there a way to actually get that chest? Just curious haven't been able to get it and my curiosity is getting the better of me ATM. Phenomenal game by the way.

This is a turn based RPG that hits all the key elements. Three classes to choose from, leveling system with stat upgrades. Find and sell loot, buy new gear, upgrades and items. Upgrade your gear and weapons, learn new skills and hax (magic). Procedural dungeons to explore, and much more.
I love using the room scaling to move around the dungeons and over world to explore and see all the little details. The combat with room scaling is amazing as well, and helps draw you into the VR world.
This is an VR RPG you don't want to miss. The VR experience is just amazing and you don't want to pass it by. Just download the free demo and you will be hooked.
Exactly what I was looking for. Sooo glad they gave a demo to this game, I probably would not have downloaded otherwise based on screenshots. Retro feel with pixel art menus, the overworld is a fun concept and still get that 3d 2st person immersion through battling. Plus for a real rpg leveling system as well! Will definitely be purchasing the real game.
I know it's still in development but can I request an online arena in the future?! Competition is my favorite part of games, even something simple would suffice.

Ummmm. Ye verry good game for a demo anyway so its worth a try
It lacks a little instruction but it was a really nostalgic execution of both 3rd and 1st person turn based RPGs. I hope to see additional levels soon.
Excellent. This one completely flew under my radar but I finally tried it and oh my Goodness it is pretty fun and we'll made.
I very well may have to throw down for the full version after playing this demo for a couple hours straight. The Quest needs more RPGs and this one is well worth trying out.
Omg i will be buying this as SOON asap. I have only played the demo but WOW!!! The graphics. The gameplay. The interface. The controls. Everything about this game is a 5/5. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves fantasy and tabletop games but would like to be IN the game and see from the pov of the character, as well as 3rd per pov.... hard to explain, just try it yourself. Does NOT disappoint
Fun dungeon crawler. This is a unique nice looking massive randomly generated dungeon crawler. Hours of game play. The demo has been fun, but it gets a little repetitive. There are many different creatures to battle. There are three ways to attack: sword, gun, or hax (spells). I basically attacked each creature the same way, with hax because they don’t cost any hp, but the diversity comes in the way they attack you and how you need to avoid their attacks. My biggest complaint is when going into and out of battles I have to readjust my view. I am usually facing away from my opponents when the battles start and I have to search around after the battle to find my character on the map. It should readjust the camera view to be facing the opponents and come back to the map with my character in front of me. Also, sometimes the menu and inventory screens don’t appear in front of me so I have to adjust my position to see them. This game has lots of potential.
