Amazing!! Best Quest 2/3 racing game. Now with motion steering and adjustable graphics. After a "false start" the devs listened to the bad comments and made the perfect upgrade. If you love quest racing this is the game you are looking for.
Multiplayer not working. This is a great racing game and in my opinion the best on the quest store. However it comes with its issues. The biggest being that multiplayer does not work at all. If that got fixed I would give a 5 star review. But due to the length of time multiplayer has not worked it’s clear they don’t care. So if you are wanting a multiplayer racing experience look elsewhere for the time being. Single player racing is amazing though especially with motion controls. Also the story mode is bugged on my version where I cannot continue. It was on the first semi truck race you do.
Stops working when pick race. Please contact me James jenkins 256-283-9143 I need some help with the app and meda can’t solve the issue,,, your app is great and I want to continue using it but it won’t let me race,,,, I have been racing for weeks now and it started acting up,,,, I have uninstalled app and they also gave me a credit,,, I bought the game again and it still won’t work,,,
CASH-GRAB!!!! most of these games should be Quest 2 exclusive because these so-called quote on quote enhancements for the Quest 3 is a tactic to sell these cash grab game's to new consumers and the fact of the matter is games like The walking Dead saints and sinners is better on Quest 2 I downloaded it on the 17th because they released a Q3 update on January 16th 2024 & I could not play more than 5 minutes You can't throw poor ambient lighting and particle effects in there and call it done everything from the sky to the characters look awful you can't slap a shiny glaze on them and expect it to pass, I mean, for god sakes look down at your flashlight on your chest I've captured multiple videos of terrible screen door effect over laying on objects, like, the worst I've ever seen Ugh!!!! I have a vast library of Quest games and with that I've played all of them since purchasing the Quest 3 and the conclusion I've reached is I'm just done purchasing standalone games. I get my money's worth out of PC VR that's the only thing the Quest headset is good for. only like once every year and a half does a good game come out like Assassin's Creed Nexus and Resident evil 4 they're making too much money out of cash grab titles little kids spending their parents money and if this is where we're going with the future of VR I'm not going to contribute. I rather spend my money elsewhere I'm tired of being thrown softballs and then every now and again getting a home run "game" I see why single developers are flooding to the unreal engine platform to develop a game they're tired of the industry. they want to release a game that they would pay for, For gamers by gamers that being said the Quest 3 falls extremely short in terms of standalone game support. Despite a massive collection of games in my library, other than a very few titles, the experience on the Quest 3 remains subpar at best due to the lack of optimization and enhancement.
Many titles I own haven't been tailored to harness the Quest 3's potential. Even games supposedly enhanced for the Quest 3, it's just misleading. Give me a Quest 2 game and say it's enhanced because the Q3 lenses are clearly superior then promote it under "new on Quest 3". Like, I'm baffled; did anyone at Meta review these games on the Quest 3 before launch, Because I can tell you, when revisiting my vast library of standalone games on the Quest 3, mostly all of them experience the same issue: the central view is excessively blurry, making it nearly impossible to engage in gameplay.
Additionally, the sharpness is limited to the outer edges, significantly impacting the overall experience, resulting in a massive headache. There's a noticeable gap in visual fidelity, performance, and overall gameplay immersion. The absence of optimization has been not only noticeable but disappointing, as it restricts the Quest 3's capability to deliver the expected quality we were promised. The disparity between the device's capability and the games' performance creates a disconnect for players looking forward to an enhanced experience on the latest hardware.
Quest-3 should have their own dedicated version on release, not a so-called quote-unquote enhancement. I sincerely hope developers swiftly address this issue by optimizing their games for the Quest 3. It's crucial for a seamless transition to the new platform, to allow users to fully enjoy the immense potential that the Quest 3 promises.
Moreover, the frustration is compounded by the hefty price tag of $697.13 for the Quest 3. My investment in this advanced hardware feels undermined by Meta. The evident gap in optimization from game developers makes my experience with the Q3 raise concerns about the value of the Quest 3 in its current stage. As an early adopter, the substantial cost for the Quest 3 is borderline criminal. To pay a premium price for cutting-edge technology only to find that the promised experience is hindered by the limited support from game developers and Meta themselves.
Furthermore, it seems like the release of the Meta Quest 3 was premature, considering the lack of game optimization across its extensive library. Controllers need improvements, as well as the headset's battery life issue. heck, when I unplug the Quest 3 headset, upon the power light indicator turning green, then immediately powering up the headset, it's only at 93% also deleted games transitions to an 'uninstalled' status, yet intriguingly persist within the storage, evading complete deletion. the arbitrary cessation of audio functionality necessitates a reboot of my headset. Despite persistent attempts spanning three days, the synchronization of videos with the app remains elusive. Curiously, yet the system sporadically captures and uploads videos that were never recorded, not to mention the color pass-through, among a handful of other headset issue . A more prudent approach would have been delaying the launch until a significant portion of the existing game library was optimized and tailored to leverage the Quest 3's capabilities. Instead, users are now just left with a supposedly powerful device without the corresponding gaming experience it should deliver. It's clear that a more synchronized launch, aligning hardware and software readiness, would have significantly improved the user experience.
I remain skeptical that Meta will address these concerns promptly. It's simple: they don't care about us, their consumers/users who have made a considerable financial commitment to Meta. I mean, the gaming industry is a clear example of it. To date, Rockstar is worth $22.5 billion dollars, and the gaming industry as a whole pulled in $347 billion dollars in 2022 alone. We, the consumers, helped build these companies/studios, and at this point, all they do is leave us in the dark, all the while emptying out our bank accounts People are tired of being taken advantage of by shady corporations and game studios most of which have resorted to exploitative tactics & it's only compounded by lying, paid-by-sponsor YouTubers, and little children spending their parents' money without the slightest grasp of what it's like to earn their own money, let alone the future implications of their purchases. So how can they be allowed to influence the gaming industry, running it into the ground. praising Cash-Grab-titles while writing misleading reviews further contributing to an ever-abusive industry against its consumers, which is the gaming industry.
I have over 2000 games across a wide variety of platforms. Aside from a very few reliable studios, the rest have adapted these abusive tactics against its consumers to further line their pockets at our expense. Like paying YouTubers to mislead its viewers just to later find out the game is crap, not as promised after purchasing it upon its release. Also, aggressive microtransactions, intentionally slowing down progress to encourage spending, creating artificial scarcity for in-game items, manipulating game difficulty to push purchases, using addictive design elements to keep players engaged and spending money, releasing paid DLCs for incomplete games, implementing time-limited exclusive content to pressure purchases, offering misleading subscription models, utilizing predatory marketing techniques targeting children, introducing grind-heavy gameplay that nudges players to spend money for convenience, and employing psychological tricks to manipulate player behavior and encourage spending. These tactics harm consumer trust and satisfaction within the gaming community impacting our overall experience, the sooner we acknowledge this as a community and address these issues the sooner we can get to the gaming experience we all deserve. We are the gamers that keep this country running, the gamers that's irritated, that's tired of spending our hard-earned money on broken Cash-Grab-Titles.
There's 3 types of studios
#1 a studio that will release a polished game only needing quality of life updates aka "Ghost of Tsushima"
#2 a studio that will release a broken game and fix it up via updates over time aka "Cyberpunk 2077"
#3 a studio that outrights abandons its game upon its release with no updates to follow aka "the day before" Fntastic which sense has shut it's studio doors now facing legal consequences.
The days of corporate greed, monopolizing the industry, and shady tactics against your consumers to further fuel your greedy lust for our money at our expense, is over! Outright robbing us on a lie, is over! The world is waking up. It's ridiculous that the industry as a whole has been blinded by their own greed and self-interest, causing them to lose their grasp on humanity, most of which lives a luxurious & lavish life, better than most that purchase their games. Yet, it's never enough; they want more and more.
Pricing steadily goes up, yet production value and qualities go down. We're expected to take a broken game on release and wait for it to possibly be fixed via updates down the road that's if it's not outright abandoned, and we're supposed to just be okay with that? That's where we're at in the gaming industry today. Just like our government, gambling with our money. Make that make sense, you greedy leeches!
That's the equivalent of me taking money from a CEO of a major game studio to build his family a beautiful house, just to then stop halfway through under the guidelines that I might or might not ever finish it. And if the current studio consumer abuse trend is any indication on me finishing your house, I wouldn't hold your breath. So, I ask you, if that would happen in the real world, what would happen to me?
Taking your money and not finishing the project, aka your house, it's clearly rhetorical. I would be taken to court and sued for everything I'm worth, Right? You guys should be held to the same standard, just like the
great game, but crashes all the time. i played this game through the story and started the career mode. Online multiplayer did not work from the start, but now even normal racing crashes the game just after selecting the race on Quest 2 and Quest 3. It's a shame, since the game itself runs pretty good on Quest 3 with increased graphics details.
Amazing. Definitly worth the price. Incredible storyline and career mode. I love the connection between story mode and career mode. Spent countless hours on this game and have not even touched certain features yet. A lot to do but it can get a bit repetitive sometimes after career mode.
Grid legends. This game is pointless, Online mode has been broken for weeks, EA are happy to take people's money, But won't fix the game, Shame, As on Quest 3, The game looks great. This game should not be allowed on the store as it doesn't work , Don't buy it.
Online broken for two months now. Have fresh installs in both my Q2 and Q3 headsets. After the last Grid update, both crash to the main Quest lobby when trying to initialize an online race, including career if online is selected. This is happening to many others, and EA support is a joke. They don’t even have Quest listed as a platform when creating trouble tickets, so you get “have you checked drivers, reinstalled the game” type of questions. One support tech suggest that I create a post in their forums (which I did) to try and get “upvote” visibility. What a joke. Bummer, because the visuals on Q3 are amazing when you bump resolution up to 125.
