Stand-Alone, Seat-of-your-Pants Flying. I stumbled across a Dawn of Jets advertisement on Facebook, and what a discovery that was. I have many flight Sims on PC and my Quest 2, but this is the best of them. Whereas VR Sims played via Steam often use up loads of computer storage and RAM, update regularly taking up even more memory and time, and run jerkily or with poor graphics, Dawn of Jets runs straight from the headset, with great graphics and without glitch. The cockpits are beautifully detailed and interactive, and have a different appearance and feel with each jet. The challenges and career missions vary in difficulty but are so realistic you feel physically and mentally drained after a session. Having flown real aircraft, this feels like the real deal, and at a great price. Just one request to the developers - can you create a similar game for the Battle of Britain, because that would be my dream-come-true.
Great Flight Game. Flight controls are about as realistic as can be replicated in this technology. Flight controls, aircraft behavior, and cockpit details are about as close to realistic as i would expect. 4 Stars for the current release, and I’m sure they’re going to really improve it as it goes along. Really fun game, especially at this price.
Help Can’t get past bombing run. Although this is an incredible game with real virtual interaction (your hands actually control the joystick and press the buttons, etc.) I am unable to get past the bombing run exercise, no matter how close I am to the warehouse to drop the bomb. I have no way of knowing if my drop was too early or too late. After I drop the bomb, I turn around to see where I hit, but there is no impact like there is in the previous exercise when you fire your guns
A lot of potential. The game is fun, but i have some complaints:
1. When go for an approach, how the game tells you to do an approach is very steep, normally when you go at landing speeds, the aircraft naturally starts falling, no need for a steep dive, and when you are touching down, you have to point the nose slightly upwards.
2. When using the wheel brakes, the stops feel very arcade-like, like looney toones brakes rather than a flight sim, it goes from 100 kts to 0 in 10 sec, in real life, the plane would flip over BECAUSE of the sudden stop
3. Even if i drop my bombs at 100 ft, it still takes 20-30 secs to reach designated target, even if i am directly 10 ft on top of target, it still takes 20-30 secs to hit the targets
ATTENTION!!: im not saying that the game is bad, im saying it needs improvement on the 3 things i said and more...

Awesome!!! This is a dream come true for me on the Quest. I played DCS but this is great to be able to play it on VR standalone.
The detail in the cockpits are phenomenal. The handling is fantastic. It is just such a fun game to play.
Note to developers: could we see the Starfighter, A4 Skyhawk, the F4 phantom, the F-16 falcon, the F 15 Eagle, and the F-18 hornet in either add-ons for the game or in sequel titles. I look so forward to that if that would be available.
Thanks for the awesome simulation. I am really enjoying it.
