What a game. I'm new to gaming and this looked really complicated but it was a gift so gave it a go. The training and speed of the game is perfect for learning how to use everything and believe me there is plenty to learn but it comes as second nature as you progress through the game. It's not just a straight shooter it's got strategy and tactics you need to apply to progress. It's a fantastic game that has kept me going back day after Day and it's just good fun, co op is absolutely brilliant and changes how you can complete a level as a team , the weapons are varied and you can carry 5 on your person which gives a great choice for the difference enemies. Think starship troopers ( if you're old enough) and that's all you need to know. Amazing game and absolutely worth the purchase, it will keep you busy for months.
Big, Bold, Done Right. Been doing VR for a long time and seldom see developers going large and getting it right. Guardians does just that. If you were a fan of Halo and wished you could be inside the game, we'll your wish has come true, influenced by some Mass Effect undertones, and made better with Co-op to play with friends in a swat team that gets it right. I absolutely love going into this game. So many maps, different every time. It's just brilliant.
Amazing game!! This is another game that I love to hop on and have a good time. Is game is worth the buy, I was thinking twice about getting it but once I bought it well it became one of my favourites. Shooting is great and they have a building mechanic and upgrading mechanics also with is great. Definitely worth the buy.
Love. This game is absolutely fantastic. It mixes tower defense and FPS to a compelling result. The weapons and weapons upgrades are well-designed and are at the right level: not too crazy powerful and not too weak. You can choose different difficulty levels as you progress. All in all it’s very well thought-through. The fact that you’re up agains AI is fine because bugs are supposed to be somewhat mindless and suicidal. My favorite game. Starship Trooper vibe.
5 stars are seen first....devs please... Honestly id give it 3-4* for a quest game....most of these games suck, this one doesnt if you understand its a tower defence game. Think cell phone game tower defence and put it in vr. If thats what you expect then its fine....issue list: -please for gods sake devs give us crystals faster, or more crystals to start, preferrably both. Once you get to the higher levels (past 50% completion) you dont have enough resources to spawn droids, turrets, etc. The ONLY strategy playing solo is to put teleport points everywhere with lots of redundancies and jump around doing everything yourself. That is NOT tower defence strategy game gameplay. And the game feels AWESOME once you have all your turrets and droids everywhere and stand in the middle of an all out war.....but the current crystal generation basically makes the game unplayable/not fun at a certain point.
----the droids are really bad. You are lucky if they listen to your commands at all. And when they do they are really just fodder to slow down the bugs unless you have a good squad built up, which you cant do because of issue number 1 on this list.
----the vehicles are ok but need work, not your fault though, vehicles in vr suck as a whole
----primarily we need more crystal generation...and not with a crystal miner. We just need that to be updated. Even the crystal miners are slow. You get 2 free droids, spawn 2 more to defend the other base, but the droids are trash, and now you're broke. Finish wave 1. 3 of 4 droids are destroyed, you cant even replace them because you didnt get enough crystals, even with shooting the floating ones its not enough when your droids just die and your turrets die easily. Then the catapult bug can throw rocks from outside of the map for the most part and destroy your base..... all can be remedied by upping the standard crystal regen rate. You have so little that even trying to use a miner is too much and too slow.
Extremely fun masterpiece. I love this games replay value Weaponry Enemy design Controls Play share create system to play other peoples very creative levels. Great graphics on the meta quest 3 LEVEL EDITOR OMG I easily spent almost 1.5hrs designing a space station destroyed by a meteor shower. I have to say the level editor of this games is as fun as the game itself so many options to make whatever your creativity possesses. Its as easy and detailed as the GTA online level editor =O i was not expecting this. This feature makes it one of my top 5 quest games now.
Wishlist: mixed reality update New weapons update, new editing items to keep making the editor fun too.
I look forward to seeing more games from these developers in the future :) thanks for creating it.
Feel like a god! I got this game during the holidays. I bought this one and in the radius. I Thought I would like the radius better. It seems like a OK game but I don’t have the patience right now for it. This game though is awesome! When I first started playing, of course, there’s a lot of bells and whistles to figure out. Your learn a little bit each day you play especially if you play with other people. Tons of Mabs because players make their own and they are very great and a lot of them. you definitely get a good bang for your buck on this game, and hope to see you on the battle field soon!
One of the best on Quest!!! Tower defense strategy with FPS. I was never a huge fan of FPS games not pvp. Still Guardians have such a potential that it just pulled me in. Besides the low damage of the rocketlauncher, I have no complaint for the game. Sometimes custom maps have texture issues but that is on the mapper not the game. Good to see that the developers also treat the game as their baby and they take care of it. The coop is a huge deal, enchances the experience 100 fold when you can hang around with your friends. 10/10 would buy again!!!!
Starship Troopers¡¡¡. ❤️🐙 I love the movie "Starship Troopers" and in general the space setting killing bugs, and this game puts you directly in the shoes of the "mobile infantry".
Aside from the setting, the game is big, has a lot of things to do, shoot bugs, move to better places, catch and shoot from giant cannons, examine the map with a strategic view (I love that option), a tree goal weapons technology, and a super cool spaceship as a base of operations. The game feels big, like a traditional game where you know you have a lot of things to do and spend a lot of hours, it's true that this doesn't really work like that, it's not comparable to a classic big game, a triple AAA shooting game. things through space, but God how I love the feeling that it's that big.
The game is not perfect either, the graphics are good but I think they could be seen better in Quest3, also the dolls sometimes move strangely, and the bugs up close are not expressive at all, I know they are bugs, but when you have one right On top of that he looks like a giant plastic doll instead of feeling something terrifying. You also have details like stones that are generated as you get closer and break the investment a bit.
But the game feels so good, the feeling that it's big and cool makes me say that's why I got into VR.
🔨Developers: Please keep working on this game, fix the fluidity, movement, object generation and close-up bugs. I would love to see this grow more and see DLC with more and more things. I do not want this to end.
BEST GAME. The only thing is needed is to be able to do friend request “PLEASE”. Also able to play with 6 players at the same time that will be super cool. Also a game mode that could be a big map where there are 4 player in each corner of the map and collect resources and battle each other until one wins the the game Or 2 vs 2 works too.
This game is awesome! So I got a oculas gift card from my mom and I was having a terrible time trying to find the right game to buy. When I saw amongst vr and thought that could be fun and oh how I was wrong it was a okay experience at beast I swear like 99.9 percent of the people playing that game were like 10 or under so lucky I managed to get a refund. And before all of this I was eyeballing this game for along time. To me it looked like halo vr but instead of fight alians or whatever you call them you get to fight bugs. Witch for alot of people is probably the whole reason you dismissed this game. But I can assure you that this game is better than that. What I'm trying to say is that I absolutely love this game and I can't see why you wouldn't even if you hate bugs. I mean look at the bright side you get to Beattie living bad word out of the very thing you hate. Now it's a different story if you were afraid of bugs. But you could use it to get over your fear I guess. Moral of the story I love this game and had very little expectations going in and very high coming out so ya. You need to buy this game!
Highly recommend this game. This game takes the Oculus quest 2 experience to a new level! The shooting mechanics and sound are great. I had a blast playing online, and I'm not really an online type of person.I would highly recommend this game to anyone with oculus quest 2 #1 game! I can't stop playing it so addictive. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the future I am definitely a fan. Please add an mixed reality mode.
