Has potential. This game has some amazing potential, but currently the controls make it hard to play at lease, for me. If you guys could fix the controls a bit, and after a few updates, this game will be great!

Must try for spaceflight fans! Really enjoyed the game overall, but my experience ran into a few issues related to the controls.
There seems to be a deadzone in the corners of the joystick controls. This works well when using joystick mode since the vertical tilt and barrel rolling are very distinctly different types of movement. You don't want full blast mixing of the two in the corners.
However, with the arcade/controller setup, you get extremely slow aim movement in the corners, resulting in only the main 4 X and Y points giving you appropriate aim adjustment. This might be intentional by the developers, but it felt really unnatural compared to other console flying games.
In joystick mode, I felt like I could appropriately chase down enemies, but not so much in controller mode. If that was fixed, I could see definitely going to 4 stars!
EDIT: Another plus, the headtracking weapon aiming was really cool and slightly offset the control issues. Great use of unique to VR capabilities.
Love the game. This game is amazing I only ha e one issue and it's that I can't figure out how to play multi-player but I'm sure it's my problem and not a game problem but other than that this game is 100% 5 🌟
Space Flight VR Simulator. As a fan of space flight simulators, I was excited to try out Squadron 1 on my Oculus Quest 2. The game offers a variety of game modes, including multiplayer deathmatch, missions, practice against AI, basic training, and chill mode. The controls were easy to pick up, and I appreciated the option to use manual controls or the controller thumbsticks.
One issue I encountered was with the joystick controls in arcade/controller mode. There seemed to be a deadzone in the corners, which resulted in slow aim movement and made it difficult to chase down enemies. However, the headtracking weapon aiming was a cool feature and helped offset the control issues.
Overall, I really enjoyed Squadron 1. The graphics were beautiful and the gameplay was smooth and immersive. The deathmatch mode was especially fun and gave me Star Wars vibes. I also appreciated the variety of game modes, including the option to relax and listen to music in Free Roam mode. The developers are also regularly adding new features, which is a nice touch.
I would definitely recommend Squadron 1 to other space flight simulator fans. It's a great, free game with a lot of potential. The only downside is that the multiplayer aspect was a little confusing for me to figure out, but I'm sure it's just a learning curve on my part. Overall, a great game and definitely worth checking out.

Its Almost a 3d vr version of 1 off the first games from the 80s - ASTROIDS -. But then with gorgeous graphics and great gameplay. You can choose how to steer the ship, i fly fpv freestyle drones irl and the sticks are the same! So smart you can swap roll and yaw!! I would buy this any day. Compliments! Love the deathmatch! I am sure other drone pilots love this game aswell. There are great tournaments on set times to take part in, you can earn credits that way to buy a new ship. The gameplay is stunning and ultrasmooth, the aiming works amazingly good on Headtracking, just look at what you want to hit in combination with the 3 axis steering is so imersive.
I only wish there were more tournaments per day! But i gladly wait for a few hours to take part.

BLOWN AWAY !!! Just WOW ! I've recently downloaded this through applab/ oculus store and it's day two..absolutely hooked into this . Unbelievably immersive gameplay and fantastic game mechanics / physics! . The graphics are second to none and everything is extremely well designed . Not had this much fun and catharsis since first getting the meta quest 2 . So excited to see what's coming next for this , honestly can't believe this game is just starting out given how well designed and developed . Absolutely 5 stars !!!!!!!
