Amazing! Brisk Square is one of the best low budget games I've ever played! for 5$ it's worth every penny. It has a cyberpunk look and pistol whip vibes, it's very entertaining and could be played for hours. Money well spent
Game. This app doesn't work. It won't let me play it and keeps saying check your Internet and try again. I reset my headset, reconnected my wifi, and even powered off my headset. Please fix this game I spent $5 on it and I was really hoping to play it.
Close to being great. An endless runner in VR with a decent look where you can use it for exercise with dodging and squats. But the telekinesis doesn't work very well, the shooting isn't accurate, the sword angle is also weird. If they improve it I'd play again.
Just one more playthrough.... Fantastic game that runs well, and has a satisfying game loop. would like to see a bit more enemy and environment variation on the campaign side of things but it's getting better with each update
A challenge well worth the reward. I really didn't like this game at first and frankly devs you do that. That's where my main gripe is. I can get 40th in the world but can't beat stage 2 on easy in campaign. I mean, let us step into the game. You really have us feeling like we're really TERRIBLE at your game for the first many hours we play it. Due to your overpowered campaign and underpowered hero. Let people feel like a hero in campaign and earn their high scores in brisk mode.
All that being said, it does get easier as you power up. Give yourself plenty of space. Your sword overheats so you can't cut everything. You must dodge and duck a lot. It's much more of a workout than I anticipated and is primarily what I use it for. Because you virtually can't beat stages for a very long time, the game gets repetitive. Sucks playing through the exact same stage 30 times. So I get on Brisk mode, which is still a one skinned environment that does not change. It is always cyber punk city. It has variations but if you run far enough, those variations repeat within that run until you die.
New environments, a toned down campaign that's actually designed to beat and make players feel like a progressing hero and a few new songs would go a LONG way for player retention and initial enjoyment. But if you put in the work there really is nothing like the feeling you get slicing and dicing as a cyborg ninja in a falling city. Give yourself time and patience and you'll find yourself coming back to it!
Great Gameplay. Very fun and addictive gameplay loop! I really like the huge skill tree. Although there needs to be more enemy types and variations.
Potential Bug? Lastly, for some reason level 4 will not unlock. I have beaten level 3 several times now but cannot continue. Not sure if I am missing something - please advise!!!
Amazing game. There's not many games like this and Brisk Square did this type of game perfectly imo. There's a lot of variety of weapons which offers different play styles if you get bored of using the same old weapon all the time. With the skill up tree you can choose how you want to play the game like investing all your points into the sword or just spreading the points all out. All and all amazing game definitely worth getting the full version, would also recommend for those who love slashing or dodging games. 👍
could be an amazing game. its not quite there yet. there are a lot of bugs and the campaingn only has 3 levels but I'm really looking up for the other updates because the game is pretty fun to play. One important thing I hope they will add is more abilities to add some more variety.
Great game. Fun, makes you move, probably one of the better pick and go games. Let's you upgrade this and that and price is great. I was pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem
Looks fun, if it worked 🤷🏻♂️. What I’ve played so far, is fun. I like the world, the story seems good, the first part anyway. Some buttons are not working for me. To replay when I die, I can’t press the retry button. Same with the skip button for the cutscenes. The crosshair with the drone is not accurate.
This game is amazing. Brisk square is a really fun game in general but I love it for a few reasons.
Number 1: not the game itself but the community. The devs are really nice and supportive, I would get discord just to join the community.
2: the fact that there is a skill tree is nice. There are too many games where you just go through a few times, change a skin, then run through again and again. In this game it feels like there are true rewards and changes throughout the game as you play it.
3: the constant updates are huge for me. I can’t explain how much I love being part of a growing community for a growing game.
Great Game. I have took some time to review this game and I think it's great! It is really fun if you just want to kill some time and is highly recommended. I did experience an issue with lag whilst playing the campaign but I'm not sure if that was the game or my internet. The graphics look great and they improved the slicing a ton since the early access.
My personal VR favorite. This game is literally the best game of all time for me, at a reasonable price you get an endless hack and slash. Ive been playing this game for a while now and have been grinding it, my favorite update is when you added new enemies like ninjas and spiders and also love the multiplayer.
Amazing game. I love the game, and it’s improved so much since I started playing Brisk Square has one of the best communities I’ve ever seen The game devs are so kind and have made an amazing community and game. I can’t wait to see where it goes from here!
Good game. Honestly the experience I had with this game is amazing, good physics and a good concept that’s rarely used, the developers of the game are really good aswell, overall great experience
