I find it hilarious shooting at the mini soldiers and feel kinda sorry for them lol!
Operation Cool Game! I remember playing this game in the arcade back in the '80s when it was called Operation Wolf. Now it has been updated to ad the VR experience!
You start the game like you're playing an old-fashioned coin-op game, standing at the game front, and then while you're playing you can suddenly be brought INSIDE the game and playing it in the first person as you try to finish your operation.
I found this in/out of VR confusing at first but the more I played the game the more I liked the idea and the gameplay.
I dropped the rating recently because after a year there is still too many glitches in the game.
I shot the arcade screen to start the next round when I found myself standing several feet to the left of the machine and the game was running.
Part of the time everything was messed up and you couldn't distinguish anything on the screen and part of the time it was perfectly clear.
I had to get out of the game and restart it to fix the problem.
It seems like nothing has changed or was added/fixed in over a year. What a shame, this game had real potential.
Would have gotten 4 stars…. … but it’s too glitchy…
Compared to the PCVR version, the standalone version looks like you’re looking through dirty lenses… everything is cloudy and hazy, making for an uncomfortable viewing experience. The flying and bow/arrow mechanics are atrocious… also the game cheats… on some missions where I’m supposed to blow up multiple enemies with a single grenade… I never get credited for doing it… it asks for 5, I blow up six+ and it STILL tells me I didn’t pass… also, I’ll rescue hostages only to have them jump off ships or get run over by vehicles… replayabiliy should be based on fun not replaying to try to beat frustratingly flawed goals… the PCVR has the same issues, but at least I can SEE
Full game better than demo... This game was a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be... Lots of levels, different guns and bows.

It will be nice if when introduce the mini games, show the instruction how to play. I have my own game Dangerous Fists, if you want to play it will be cool.
Significant step down from Steam version. I have the Steam version of this game and it plays very smoothly with Virtual Desktop. I saw that the Quest-native version was on sale and figured I'd snag it to save me a little time when I want to play it.
Sadly, it is a BIG step down in graphical quality. There is far less in terms of environmental elements on the screen, the colors are washed out and dull, and the texture maps for everything (vehicles, trees, soldiers, etc.) are incredibly bland in comparison to the Steam version. Graphically, it's on par with a low end Nintendo 64 game.
I hope that the developers are still optimizing this game, and if they can get it close to the quality of the Steam version, I'd give this game 5 stars without hesitation, as the gameplay itself is still a lot of fun.
Classic with a twist! This game is very fun! It is a classic arcade shooter with a twist. It's fun using the enhanced upgrades that throw you into the battle. The reason I gave it four stars was just cause it can get a bit repetitive after a while and doesn't keep me engaged to keep playing all the stages at once. But it's a great game to pick up and play when needing some downtime from other VR games. For the price, it's one to definitely consider adding to your collection.

Before i Update the game to 1.2 the game runs smooth with not so good graphics. After i Update the 1.2 Version. The game runs not smooth with many black screens and other mistakes in the game.. plz make a fixx
Great game if you appreciate retro. I love this game... Very well done. My 80s feels coming on strong. The immersive mini games are fantastic... I can see myself spending alot of time in this one. Well worth the price of admission!! Thanks Devs
Update 2021-12-16 game updated. But now as soon as I start a level.. Screen goes black.. Can hear the audio of level... But can't see anything! Hope dev can send a fix, love the game

OPERATION WARCADE. Haven't been able to stop playing this little gem.......
My favorite VR game. I've had this game on PCVR for years. I have both the Steam and Oculus PC versions and like the last reviewer, both have those green 1's and 0's raining at all times, weird to hear the playstation version also suffered. It still looks great and plays well on PC though even with the green binary rain.
I'm really loving the game all over again on my Quest's. I have both Quest 1 and 2 and I'm torn as to which one it looks better on. The graphics of course don't compare to the PC version, but the gameplay is still there. I think with Oculus's upcoming ASW implementation and possibly AMD's FSR, Operation Warcade has the potential to be the best game on Quest with 2076 being a close second.
