Amazing but short. I absolutely loved this game. The puzzles were well conceived, but not too difficult. There was a spooky feel without horror or jump scares. My main complaint is that it was VERY short. It was a fun narrative, but I finished the whole thing in under two hours of play time. I wholly recommend playing this game; just know what you're picking up!
A Stunning VR Gem – Ghost Town VR. Ghost Town VR is an extraordinary piece of work. I absolutely love everything about it from the smooth, natural movement of my character to the incredibly immersive interactions with the environment. I can tap on the fish tank and hear the soft, realistic sound it makes, or explore the mom’s husband’s home and find all the beautiful, interactive items scattered around every little detail invites curiosity. The graphics, art style, and overall theme are absolutely gorgeous. Every corner feels alive and thoughtfully crafted. I wish more VR games were made like this it’s truly a masterpiece. To the entire team who made this possible: I want to send you all a big, heartfelt thank you for your hard work and creativity. You’ve created something magical, and I appreciate every bit of it.
Easily one of the very best! I'm an OG been playing VR since the CV1. My favorite games are ALYX, Lone Echo 1/2, The Room VR and now Ghost Town. What a thrill!! Keep with it, it starts off as one escape room after another, but next thing you know your immersed in this absolutely epic and chilling narrative you won't put down. I think anyone complaining about the length lost track of time because they were having so much fun. No the puzzles aren't super hard, but they are all sensible in the narrative so there's very few goofy "just because" situations. The attention to detail, all the extra knickknacks on the walls and tables, are just incredibly well thought out. I'm really looking forward to seeing the next installment! Get on it Fireproof!!!
Wow! Just finished this...and wow...its amazing!. Realistic... immersive... atmospheric...jump scare couple times but was more the music and sounds that lend to the general overall feeling of dread...i loved it. Best game i have played on meta3... Thankfully bought as bundle with room by same developers. Cannot wait for more by these developers...im blown away tbh..well worth money...also not too short or too long.
Great Game. I have played all The Room games including the VR version and was waiting for another game from this developer. They did not disappoint. It was amazing. My only confusion is that Ghost Town seems to end on a cliffhanger, so I assumed there would be a follow up game but apparently there isn’t one. Anyway, nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope they win a ton of awards and keep making great games!
lackluster. Visually, this game is stunning. The graphics are polished, immersive, and clearly the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, that's where the praise ends. The gameplay itself is overly simple, offering little in the way of challenge or progression. I kept waiting for the difficulty to ramp up—or for the story to deliver a payoff—but neither ever came. The ending of the narrative was so abrupt and anti-climactic I didn’t even realize the game was over until the credits rolled. It felt unfinished, like something was missing. If you’re looking for eye candy, this app delivers. But if you want something engaging or memorable, you’ll likely be disappointed. The graphics saved it from a 1-star rating, but barely.
A Great Story With Solid Controls. This was a really solid game. Solid graphics, tight controls, creepy storytelling and a hint system for those of us who are sick to death of puzzle games. I really enjoyed it. Now I’m going to go another year before I even consider an escape room game, a puzzle game, a rogue-like and a turn-based game. This one was definitely worth it.
