Enjoyable experience! Stellar Plans can't be explained in a few words because it's a mix of many things. It's an action game with RPG elements. You will get attributes that you can assign to your character, plus you will find terminals throughout maps that will increase even more abilities. You are part of a futuristic sci-fi world who's fighting against a more primitive fantasy world. Your team will assign you tasks that you have to do into the other world. You will have close combat weapons like sword and axes, and guns like pistols and assault rifles. The worlds that you get transported into are very different from each other, it's very nice exploring all of them and every time feels like a new adventure. The game was previously released on PCVR, but the the Meta Quest version will include 3 extra maps. I've played the PCVR version in the past and I was pleasantly surprise at how smooth the game runs on the stand-alone headset. You know, something to keep in mind is that the game is made by a single indie developer. It's not perfect, but think about it, the game is only $7 and you get a full 5 to 8 hours campaign. The developer mentioned to me that as long as people are buying the game, he'll keep updating it.

A One Man Labour Of Love. I was completely expecting to play this for 5 minutes and refund it in disgust. That didn't happen. This evening I thought I'd treat myself: So, I bought a certain AAA stealth parkour assassination game in the spring sale, thinking it would be a safe bet, and also got this as a bit of a punt. I ended up keeping this and refunding the former. Stellar plans is a game that reminds me why I love indie projects. It's one man's work, one man's vision and I have to say that It's really fun. It's a shooter/rpg hybrid that also has melee combat, missions and lots of lovely loot. For a £6 game, the graphics are effective, charming and have a great sense of scale. In some cases and places, they're actually fantastic. The music and effects are pretty good, though note that the speech of NPCs is currently AI generated, but only as a temporary measure. The combat is fun, holstering is effective, enemy A.I is not bad, pretty good in fact for fire arm equipped enemies though slightly less so in melee. There are no rag-doll effects in melee, but you can slice enemies in half, which is nice. Stellar Plans, has plenty of level ups for your character, nice weapons, full body representation and a lot of content and potential play time. It also has a lot of heart and lot of enthusiasm. Sure it has some rough edges, but then I see enough of those in most Quest games. This is home brew game production taken to an epic level. A budget friendly, labyrinthine labour of love. The dev must have been insane to undertake something like this on their own and if they weren't they probably are by now, but I'm really glad that this was made. Add to this usable power armour and mechs AND 2 very different faction campaigns and there is literally no excuse to not buy this game.

So close to being amazing. Love the concept of this game… an action rpg in a semi open world. I have only 2 issues with the game so far, and they’re big: #1 The firearm angles are usually off kilter when holding with 2 hands. Makes it so I can’t use a revolver with 2 hands. And #2, make headshots worth more damage… no matter what I do, it always takes half my rifle clip to kill an enemy… doesn’t matter if I hit them in the head 10 times or in the foot, they’ll die with the same amount bullets. If these 2 issues can be fixed, I’ll change my score to 5 immediately. Great job devs. This could be a big game in the meta store if it’s updated a bunch. Also, it’d be real nice if an AutoSprint option was added. I hate clicking my joystick so much cuz it leads to stick drift after too much use.UPDATE 3/9/25Welp that was quick lol new update just fixed my 1st issue making headshots more valuable than going to the body. Now aiming isn’t pointless. I still hope the dev can fix the off kilter gun angles on some of the firearms. Some weapons force you to shoot in unnatural positions when holding with 2 hands. But I’m gonna raise it to 5 stars just cuz the dev seems really intent on making his game better. For $6 it’s worth supporting an indie devs. Need more games like this

Cool ideas. Game is alright to start. Would love to see some rag doll effects to bodies. However it seems this developer is working hard on this title. It has a ton of awesome ideas so far. Movement is a little bumpy in smooth turn mode. Overall excited to see where this game will be in time as still a work in progress title. Much respect to the developer on this one. Hope to see some updates soon.
