Lov the puzzle aspect but.. EDITING UPDATED AFTER FIRST review starting out caus I did go reinstall and see if things were different for me as for the boss fight and even though a lot think it’s easy it’s not for me and that matters or should. Improved the system w bubbles but still same issue I’m confused all together on what am I supposed to hit other then the purple guys and how do u hav time to wait one second to charge bubbles while having to teleport also to not fall off and go thru loading scene again and again😫 I guess not enough had issues w same thing to get a skip the fight so can finish this story and puzzles caus that’s the things I absolutely adored bout this game. Gav stars bk but bummed dnt hav option to get past to see what happens and mor mind bending puzzles that were so unique 🥺ORIGINAL REVIEW::Was so excited until u throw in a boss fight right in middle of a puzzle game 🫤 and bubble disappearing when u need it the most so there is no way to move forward. I would pay for a skip boss level button at this point lol. I keep dying caus need bubble but aiming is off and hard to point to even get the ones u need. if enough agree maybe plz make a skip the boss level caus now can’t finish the story or do mor puzzles😑bummer plz help will add star if can make that happen🫤 I lov the game and it’s so different and unique to quest and paid quite a lot for getting to c only half of it so can ya help a sista out?😆 will add 2 stars if could b fixed or skipped somehow, but other then that y’all it’s so cute and a great game I’m🤞🏼

Plesantly surprised. Honestly its just nice to see a studio try something different. I love when someone tries something new and doesn't just fit some mold. Well I was really surprised with this one. The mood is slightly gritty and dark but still keeps it light. The story grabs you quickly. Ive completed a few levels so far and I am looking forward to jumping back in:) A few little flaws in the game but honestly nothing breaking. Art, sound, story, performances etc are all really nice and beautiful. If your looking for something different to the usual same old out there then definitely give this one a try.

It's a befuddling game. The issues with this game can be divided into two categories: Dialogue and mechanics. The mechanics are unpolished, grabbing objects results in strange anchor positions, and it's just a fist hovering beside the hammer. Walking up a flight of stairs results in a jarring step up that's not smooth at all. And when picking up objects and then releasing them, they blink back to their original place. There's no stacking or arranging things. It's big in scope but poorly executed.Regarding the dialogue, I understand this is a play on Carl Yung, the shadow, etc. It's fitting that it should be told from the perspective of a child. But it's read by a grown woman, with sentences that belong in the likes of Blues Clues. And the inflection is pretty jarring.Between the words spoken, the moments at which they're summoned, and the way they're delivered, it all adds up to an almost Jessica Rabbit sound bite, often even resembling Audrey from Little Shop of Horrors. It's a suggestive, strange and bizarre delivery to what's supposed to be an audience of 7 year olds, based on what's being spoken. But it's all the more baffling that that demographic isn't even allowed to have an account. What you're left with is the appearance of a little girl speaking with an overtly mature and ditsy inflection to an audience of adults listening to stories about a child in a bedroom, sneaking downstairs to steal berries, and telling you to keep a secret otherwise Daddy will discipline her. It's all very strange.

6 Months Into VR, a Game Stole My Heart. I’ve been exploring VR for about 6 months now, and while I’m not a fan of shooters, I absolutely love puzzle games and creative uses of virtual reality — and Selina - Mind at Large delivers exactly that. I played Selina on the Meta Quest 3, and it’s honestly one of the most memorable VR games I’ve experienced. The core mechanic is super innovative — you can tilt the entire world by 90 degrees, which changes not only your view but also the physics and gravity. It makes for some really creative puzzles and moments where you feel like you're bending reality itself. But what truly makes this game special is the story. You step into the world of Selina, a young girl struggling with deep trauma and fear after being forced away from home by dark forces. The shifting world reflects her inner turmoil, and as you explore and solve puzzles, you feel like you’re helping her piece herself back together. The environments are beautifully crafted, and the whole experience feels incredibly immersive on the Quest 3. One small downside for me was the background music — it didn’t really stick with me or enhance the experience as much as I’d hoped. But honestly, that’s a minor thing compared to how powerful the rest of the game is. It’s actually feels not just like a game — it’s an emotional journey that sticks with you long after you take the headset off. If you’re looking for something unique, thoughtful, and visually stunning, I can’t recommend this enough.

Beautifully imagined and playful. Selina is a delightful journey and a fun puzzler, it’s got immersive visuals, a great movement mechanic, and plenty of game. It felt easy to jump in between sessions without losing the thread, so you can take it at your own pace. You don’t get games from this characters perspective so that’s really refreshing too.
