The game starts with a Moon landing animation. The player plays the role of an astronaut to step out the hatch of the Lunar Module, climb down the ladder. Then, the player will push a button to trigger the deployment of the lunar rover, which was attached to one side of the Lunar Module. The game will show various animations to teach the player factual knowledge of different components of the lunar rover. After that, the player drives the lunar rover and follows the path to the place of destination. The rover is controlled by a T-shaped controller which is the same operation as the driving control for the real lunar rover. After arriving at the destination place, the player performs three gamified tasks in order to collect soil samples, including breaking a rock into required sizes, moving small rocks into the sample box, and detecting and labeling out more soil areas based on the vibration levels felt on the handheld controller.
Interesting for what it is. A short ~30 minute experience. Some interesting information. A little bit of interactivity with a couple small minigames at the end. Perfectly acceptable for a free app. The only slight complaint is that I seem to be about 2 feet tall in the game.
Graphics almost better than MetaVerse,,. Superberb Graphics! I love it! Had to include a shoutout to the Awesome MetaVerse that has the Best Graphics of ANY VR Title, but this game is close,, (if you can't understand sarcasam, move along)
Tip for reversing. Use the 'B' button to select reversing mode, pull back on the hand controller to reverse. Use the 'B' button again to select forward motion.
Driving the Rover is fun! Thank you for the fee demo, really enjoyable.
Driving the Moon Rover is a great experience. Using a model of the actual controls is so cool, really love it. You can divert from the indicated path and go exploring.
