Fun game, especially with 4 players. Since the most recent update, I can no longer play in Skirmish mode. Some things, like the end key are only seen in one eye. Other than that, this is still my favorite game.

XP Scaling. I love Demeo but you get the same XP for the east board as you do the mediums and the hard. Other than a little challenge, if you want to level up you might as well just keep doing the easy one. The XP should be more balanced out on the difficulty of the board. Please fix this so the harder levels are worth doing.

so how update it ?!?. so according to developers i manualy have to find files online, download updates and change files in system, it's like pay mechanic to do oil change and do the work yourself while hes standing. update bar don't do anything just showing games i have, button to update the game nowhere to be found ! oculus web site does not provide accurate info HOW TO. so how to play it?!? get and IT diploma first? then play game how does it work i am so confused.
Love this game. This game is easily my favorite. However there is one issue I have when playing in Desktop Mode on PC via Oculus App. There are times when I join a game and the cursor won't appear at all leaving me with no way to interact but force closing the game and reopening hoping my cursor shows up in the next game I join.
I love this game but it needs some fixes. I use strength potion in Cana. So if it dies or happens random disconnections, Cana just looses the potion upgrade. The snapping board to table feature in MR is veeeeery annoying. The tilting table untilts for no reason. The tilting is not properly loyal to the direction you are looking. Small things that are easy to fix but keeps boring along the time. Please fix those things. Dentro is my favorite game. And please, bring more books, more classes, more powers and please... Add 4v4 in Demeo Battles!

This is a fun game that could have been. I am an old-school RPG player and DM, and when I read about Demeo I got very excited. It didn't quite live up to expectations.
Visuals: Awesome overall. To be nitpicky I found some of the action animations like the miss to actually take away from the immersion (why is my character spinning)
Control: I found the movement controls to be cumbersome and the annoyance grew over time rather than getting accustomed to it. I am susceptible to nausea on my Quest with some games, and the movement here triggered me mildly but not enough to stop playing.
Story: This was a HUGE disappointment for me and quite frankly ruined the game somewhat. Dungeon Crawling is such a superficial part of an RPG and Demeo took that part alone. The mechanics and dungeon without the heart. To be fair there is the skeleton of a story, but it really has no bearing on the gameplay. Some voice acting, some choices, increased interaction among players, hidden rooms, moral dilemmas. Many of these would be incredibly simple to add and increase the appeal tremendously. Have a random dungeon generator for those that just want that feature, but give story as well.
Multiplayer: Not much to say. It has the strengths and weaknesses of any multiplayer experience. Though generally positive. My biggest problem here is that I rarely if ever have the time to spend on the quest for a full Multiplayer adventure.
Mechanics: Most things make sense, though there isn't a guide. You kinda have to figure out for yourself why this lamp behaves how it does, or that this bone does that.
Overall: Do I regret buying this, no, I will play this though not as often as I had hoped. Is it my best purchase ever, no, it doesn't have the immersion I had hoped.
Great game! I play Demeo more than any other title. I love this game. I have maxed out my level and although winning is nice, it loses a little something once you no longer earn XP or cosmetic updates. Real character progression would be awesome! Or, a sister title when the actual character progresses and levels, not the player! Now that would really be something
The Best Social Game On Oculus Period!! Almost perfect at least untill DND VTT comes out amazing game best on oculus for people like me who love DnD just wish there was more content TBH a couple more books more levels as easy as the elven queen maybe some extra characters and they should also make it character specific reward leveling instead of play and it unlocks stuff for everyone but it is THE best social game on oculus period if not the best overall period worth the money + crossplay makes it easy to find a match at anytime highly suggest it
Amazing Game - Almost Perfect. This game is great and appreciated for what it is. I've paid for it 3 times now, twice for headsets and once on Steam. I enjoy dungeon crawling. However, 2 extra databases to optionally keep track of character stats and tiny, little decisions... would have taken this from an 8 to a 10 for me.
The story that's been added in is great... but I'm sure you (the developers) agree that it could have been integrated more, in smart little ways, to make the dungeon crawling more rewarding, without bloating the experience (across modules).
Other notes: The game rewards experimentation and wit. It's not the most complex sandbox, but there is a relatively fair amount to unpack after the initial tutorial. It seems to lean in the direction of being a tabletop fantasy-genre Left 4 Dead. Players expecting to "clear" a dungeon will be very confused 😅😅😅.
I might try out Battles soon. Thanks for making this game.
Way better than anticipated. Really did not expect to love this game as much as I do. Easily *the best* multi-player game I've played in VR, and I've tried a lot of them.
Haven't tried the randoms, only played with people I know. I'm not normally a board game fan (ttrpgs excluded), but this is fantastic.
Thought it would get redundant but they've done a great job keeping it fresh with new levels. Graphics are nicely stylized and look great on both quest and pc. Gameplay is fairly balanced and challenging enough to stay interesting.
My one wish would be for some kind of character leveling or gated progression instead of just cosmetics. Overall A+
Warning - highly addictive! :p. I got this game expecting to get board with it after a level or two. Also expected a bad community which seems to happen on a lot of multiplayer games these days. I was wrong on both counts. Not only is this game very replayable, has a real boardgame feel with it without all the faff of setup but it also has a great community of players. I've made it to abouyt lvl 40 with only meeting 1-2 "unwanted" players.
The game itself has a hero quest feel about it. Easy to play but loads to master!
The best game on Oculus. My girlfriend and I have played this every night religiously. The only critique is that we have maxed out level and they have stopped adding more maps (They are working on a seperate game called Demeo Battles). This is the perfect game for VR and they have intgrated the control so that it's intiuative and easy (You won't get sick).
