How long can you survive in the Amazon rainforest?
Green Hell VR is the most complex and authentic survival game for VR. The game faithfully recreates the dangerous conditions of the Amazon jungle. Alone and stranded, you will never feel safe. To survive, you have to face your weaknesses. Maintaining hunger, thirst, fatigue and mental health is going to be an integral part of your journey. Wild animal attacks and tropical diseases could strike you down at any time and out of nowhere if you are not prepared. Since you won’t get any help from the outside world, you need to craft your tools and weapons, learn how to build shelters, and heal nasty wounds.

Liked it so much that I bought it twice! I own the PC VR version of Green Hell VR and have enjoyed many hours playing it on my Quest 2 via the link cable. Now I don't have to drag my laptop around with my Quest in order to play it at my friends as I have just purchased the stand-alone version. Green Hell VR on PC looks truly beautiful with Occlusion and God Rays set at maximum settings. It plays differently on the Quest 2 version but, it's just as good as a stand-alone. It may not look quite as detailed as on the PC but they've done an excellent job in making it run smoothly and it still looks fantastic! I like that the mechanics aren't the same as it adds an element of new gameplay and discovery which obviously wouldn't be there had it just been ported directly from PC to Quest so, it kinda feels like it's an entirely new experience .... although it isn't, the story is just the same. It's it's crafting, scenery changes, slightly different map, flora and mechanics that change. On PC, this game requires a beast! of a setup in order to get it running at higher frame rates and looking beautiful and, whilst it doesn't look quite! as good on the stand alone version, I have absolutely no complaints on how they've ported it. Still looks, feels and plays great! Awesome job guys! Now I'm off to play many more hours without being tethered to my computer ... woo hoo!
Exactly the same as the Steam Version. The game is ok, but it performs (horribly bad) exactly identical to the steam version. The review that suggests, it performs better is misinformation. Hope i can refund the game... update: i think, this might be the worst optimized pcvr game in history. 4090, maxed graphic, @2740, regularily drops to 36 fps while looking ugly as hell via airlink. gz to this achievement.
Better Than The Steam Version. This has really good performance on my 4090 and 12900k processor. I would only approach this with a high end rig but it is well worth it.
Freaking love it. yes there are some issues like performance, but i have played the demo, steam version and the quest version and oculus pc version, and the the quest version is a much more dumbed down experience. this is like the full game in VR. also there is a delete items button so they have been updating. base building and many many things arent in the quest version, i mean really the quest version was like a spin off of the real game, so its sad they didnt get to play the superior version. so i would say the oculus store is the best place to get it if possible. that said while the performance is better than steam for me, its still rough, but ive seen worse honestly. with some updates i think this will be superb. the forest is my fav vr game, but this one could be runner up. actually mechanic wise it might top it in some ways. i will say there is a aimer on quest that i wish was optional for pc. like the spears and stuff had a button to throw it. i understand the quest is going to get sales, but what is next gen on PC VR pushes the medium as a whole, so please dont ditch this version and if possible work on making it run smoother, maybe some quality of life improvements as well. That said im stoked to make bases now. i dont know how big the game is compared to quest but since it has survival mode and ALOT of buildings and cool crafting stuff id say im going to be deep in this world for some time. Free play mode: Forever pain and stress, amazing. 🫡
Entertainment: Could play it for an hour without getting a bit bored. 🍿🙂
Horror: Could get a bit scared and paranoid. Well actually Ooga Booga ppl are very scary 🤓

Realism: This kind of stuff could actually happen. Really🫤
Not as fun as the quest version. When I downloaded this game i thought it would be just like the quest version in terms of the crafting, as that was the main selling point for me to get the game, but with superior graphics and performance. However the game I downloaded was completely different from the game I knew. Every single detail has been overhauled and for better of worse so has the crafting system. All i wish is for my little monkey brain to be able to smash two rocks together to make a sharper rock instead of putting to rocks on a table and POOF a sharp rock. Its not as fun of an experience but it is definitely better overall.

TASE2702/3815577785147028/ Remember that this game is cross buy, so if yoy buy the PCVR version or the MQ2 version, you get both of them. And in this particular game both versions are different. I'm a few hours into the MQ2 version, and my wife is playing the PCVR version. Obviously the grahpics are better in the PC version; but the crafting mechanics are cooler in the VR version (in the PC you have a "crafting stone" and you just add the ingredients, in the standalone version you have to interact with the objects). The PC version have more mechanics, you have legs, leeches... The MQ version is slightly simplified for obvious reasons, and also the jungle looks less coll (still amazing for a MQ2 standalone game though). Overall both are cool. If you have a VR capable PC the PCVR version is cool. If you don't, I think the standalone MQ2 version is a lot of fun too. I'm still playing the History mode, haven't tried survival yet.
Can’t wait for multiplayer! The best survival game out there on the market currently! Looking forward to multiplayer update!

Awesome game, love it to every extend. I bought the quest version when it came out, and then the steam version. Steam version was amazing if not for one small problem... Its performance was absolute garbage. This version has literally changed the game for me. Amazing game, great mechanics, very immersive and good performance.
Fun survivor game. This game have been surprisingly fun. Even when I did make my first story run way too hard. Died early on infection afted enjoyed all kind of weird stuff like parasites and somekind of worms inside my skin. Leeches and snake bite were easy ones to deal whit.
One thing that I hate on survival games are other players. This game is single player and does not have that problem. Other is missing pause option that this game does have.
This game have been taking a lot of time. I feel like just started to play and realizing that hour have gone real time.
Figuring out new stuff have been fun. So far everything have been logical and game have part guides to rest.
If you like surviving games you should play this one.

Great game! Another life in the jungle. So much more content/crafting than native Quest version. Game has been bug free for 15 jungle days so far. It be great to be able to hand (no table) craft basic essential tools which only require 2 input items. Thank you for the literal extra game! I bought the Quest version, so this is a pleasant surprise! Some developers make their games cross platform Rift to Quest, as it is the same game. Then there are developers like the Beat Saber folks, who are trying to rip you off to get you to buy the actual same game twice, once in Rift and another time for Quest. THESE guys are literally giving away a second game, one with deeper textures, better maps, different mechanics. You get the PC version now if you buy the Quest version! Quest version is amazing, and so is this. I have a good reason to play through this game again, even more wowed by what my PC does for this.
