"Mission: Mars" is an open World VR scenario where the user may explore with realistics details the three rovers and satellites that USA, Europe, China, and Arab Emirates are sending to Mars in 2020 and 2022. The experience begins in a futuristic museum on Mars surface with all the rovers inside. The user may explore them in situ or teleport outside to witness the full deployment sequence and watch them in action. The 3D models of the rovers have been created faithful to the real ones and each instrument has its own information panel for the user to learn about it. Additionally, from the museum, one can transfer to a Mars orbit and see the planet from above as well as its moons and some satellites that are exploring it. Many more rover models and interactivity functionalities are to come in future versions. The new version includes a future Mars with SpaceX starship, robots, rovers, astronauts, and more events (like SpaceX concept). Soon with more updates! Thanks for trust us!
Love free open World and Mars. Very real experience, I like it as ISS, love the Perseverance landing and all the information, I hope you add more interaction and information about Mars!
Amazing Perseverance landing. It is what I expected, perfect too see the Perseverance rover in action in an open World. I love space exploration and this is what we need more real space. No that huge graphic card needed!
Beta version ok. Very realistic. This beta version was ok because as I see in their website they launch in beta to allow us to have it before the arrival of the Mars2020 Perseverance rover and the other rovers like the Chinese. Was very realistic in high quality, they reduce the quality for first launch and don't need RTX graphic card, with GTX1060 was perfect also. I miss the future options (was a premature launch as I said), the website says that next weeks will have them (https://www.missionmarsvr.com/download/) to have more interactivity and more challenges to do! It is ok for a beta and first game to know more about this year Mars missions (and future/past missions as they said in next updates).
For anyone who like science, education and space, this is and will be the DEFINITIVE Mars product! =D
Its early Days. I really wanted to love this as im looking for that Ultmate Mars experience but i was left a little disappointed. Im running an RX580 which is below the recommended but still a very powerful card that usually give me visuals in VR to die for. Even on High detail the terrain is nothing like the video shows in the preview and the detail shown is just not there.
The Rovers look great but unfortunately i did not feel like i was on Mars where i have in other similar games \ simulations. Im hoping this is because its a first release and these things will be improved but as it is for me right now im not blown away. Sorry :(
Cool!! Make this bigger please!! We started using this game yesterday for education with my students (12-13 years) and is perfect for us, we can repeat the experiences to show to all the students and see the details on Mars of Perseverance landing sequence, other games have boring introductions and we have to wait too long to use in class changing the glasses. Please KEEP updating it!!! it is the more realistic experience from Mars we found here.
