概要
mpire Soldiers: A South Asian Story, is a VR film that pays tribute to the forgotten contribution of South Asian Soldiers in World War 1. Hear the captivating stories of the battlefield as you are joined by a returning soldier and share the emotional experience of the return home. As the journey continues to the present day, focus turns to the changes of the last 100 years, and the impact of migration on the world today. Empire Soldiers was originally developed as a Virtual Reality exhibition, touring throughout the UK to mark the centenary of the end of World War 1. Empire Soldiers: A South Asian Story, is part of a planned series of short VR films made to remember the forgotten contributions of soldiers from across the former British Empire.

Great doc. I found it quite immersive, and very interesting. Lots of respect for the soldiers fighting for this war, which wasn't really even theirs. Thanks devs

Good idea, mediocre execution. Like the other experience in this series, I like the idea of it. It's just that the setting is mostly un-inspired.The graphics in this one are more interesting and better scaled than the one about the carribean troops, but without a central character to connect to, it was more about looking at the environments while the narrator talks. This would work better if the environments were more dynamic. But then again, it's free. So it's still worth experiencing. Just a shame they couldn't have taken it from interesting concept to great execution.
