Located on Qatar’s north-west coast and comprising the immaculately restored Al Zubarah Fort and surrounding 60-hectare archaeological works, this UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the most extensive and best preserved examples of an 18th–19th century settlement in the region.
It's ok, but not amazing. It's very much like visiting a historic area with signs and pictures. The graphics aren't very sharp, but it's fine for being free.
Nice experience in an empty desert. But very well done, the way the sun blinds you when entering the court jard from a part of the museum. It is a small experience, but a diamond for that. Look at the sky and see the clouds slowly move above you. This is not a still; it is a living place in a silent world. And nice for history buffs, too. But, that thing with the sea? Which sea?

I would have liked to have been able to read the signs, but the text was too small.
