Amazing. Mind blown. Well, after several attempts to get the game (since it would randomly just disappear as purchasable) Im so glad I dropped the 40 on it as soon as it re-appeared for purchase. Very cool, and to think it was 2019 when made? Wow... well... Insomniac has a knack for great games and they definitely hit this out of the park. Too bad we don't see more like this.

Hooked, Brilliant, Must Play! Despite this being an 'old' game, I only started playing this recently (2025) and its AAA brilliance. Original lore and world, great gameplay, great voice acting and character animations, loads of detail and exploration rewards.

Story game and beautiful graphics. It's an older game - from 2019 but - the graphics are beautiful! I absolutely don't understand why META removed this game from the store. I managed to find it thanks to the "direct link to purchase the game on the Meta shop" (I'm not putting it here so it won't be removed, but you can google it). For me it's one of the best games..like HL Alyx, HL2 VR, Into the Radius1/2, Metro Awakening - it will simply grab you with the story. I recommend it =).

Phenomenal Work. Way ahead of its time. Shout out to Insomniac Games--this is a masterpiece. I've wanted to play this since I saw the trailer in 2019--finally got a Pc that can handle VR, and the second this game reappeared in the Meta Store, I jumped on it. I'm not far in, but absolutely love it.

It is still about 3 hours of play time, but there are 5 operability, graphics and sound. The reason why I chose 4 is because it supports non-Japanese as the title says. Although there is subtitle display in English, there is no problem with the progress of the game, but I would like you to respond to Japanese including narration here. Of course, we are looking ahead to the release on PSVR, but I would like the subtitle display position to be a little closer to the center. Subtitles are hard to see on Rift S, so I would like to see them updated.
Please support full left-handed mode. It works at almost high setting with Radeon RX 580. I have one request. Please support full left-handed mode (left thumbstick for rotation, right thumbstick for locomotion and X button for jumping).
Still one of my top picks today! Just had to chime in since I found myself here anyhow... I'm still shocked at just how dated this game is... yet still an absolute gem compared to some of these supposed AAA VR behemoths! I mean I still find myself playing this game over my newer games pretty often - I mean even if I were born with some malady like being left-handed, I'd still give this game a 10 star rating here! Ooh, but I can swap the buttons and have to play the game how the developers intended it to be played! 2 stars for your amazing creation just because you don't have the one option I *want* --- not REQURE or NEED.... Sorry, yeah I'm salty about all the ridiculous complaints on this storefront for this title... deserves so much more! I know they're all gone now, scattered to the winds like grains of sand in the desert... I would have just absolutely died if they pulled off an even more impressive sequel!
Top 3 Oculus games of all time! AAA. Stormlands, Asgard's Wrath 1, and Lone Echo are the top 3 Oculus games of all time, some might say those were the golden days of Oculus too. Overall Stormland is fantastic, but very taxing on your PC. Even my 4090 can't play it at max settings!
Incredible Locomotion! Stormland has an elegant and fun way to move between the different islands. Beautiful environmental design, pretty good combat, and kind of an interesting story. Lots of fun just exploring and seeing the world.

My favorite game. I have had this game for a long time now, and it's the game I keep coming back to play through. The gameplay is just so fun, the vertical movement, gliding, gun mechanics. You can go the stragical route when combatting enemies, or go in guns blazing. Beautiful open world combat game!
No Left Handed Support. Finally got this game and sadly have to discover that this game has no propper left handed support.
You can choose what your dominand hand is but that's only sets what hand you use for interactions, you controller inputs stay the same, so you still have to play with a right handed controller layout.
Why is there no accessibility option for us left handed players? Why is there no option to swap thumbsticks so movement is on the right stick and turning on the left stick. Why is there no option to swap buttons that jumping, etc. would also swap?
Diablo-like shooter with fun mechanics. It's rather imperative to set your sights on what this game is and isn't. If you go in expecting something akin to, say, Half Life: Alyx (i.e. a story-rich, linear VS shooter) then you'll find this game very lacking.
However, it's something else. It's more akin to Diablo, or some other hack-and-slashy game, only you have guns and it's in VR. The combat is fast paced and fun, and the movement scheme is just wonderful (both vertical and lateral).
If there’s any criticism, I could say about this is that it’s rather difficult to find anyone to play a MP game with, which is a bit of a shame since this seems like it’s VERY fun with a teammate.
Definition of "Hidden Gem". I'm SO glad I decided to give this game a second look!!! If you need a new game with some depth, give this a shot!
I tried this game at launch and wasn't happy for a few reasons, I didn't have the VR legs for it yet, my PC at the time wasn't quite enough to drive the game smoothly at high settings and it looked muddy in the Rift S, and like a lot of people, I played HL:Alyx first and had impossible standards for anything I played after for a while.
I fired the game up today and was really pleasantly surprised. The added resolution from the Quest 2 seems to be just enough for TAA to finally look acceptable in VR. Running on a 4080 the game has felt like a locked 90hz with only minor instantanious stutters when transitioning between flashbacks in the first hour.
This game looks AMAZING, like one of the best games I've seen in VR period. The lighting and density in the environment detail is the kind of top knotch stuff we don't get often in VR games. The overall presentation is just on a level you don't see much in VR games, it feels truly AAA.
The game feels great to play, I usually hate climbing in VR games but the implementation here is awesome, you can even climb one handed by flinging yourself up. The gliding took a minute to get down but once you do it feels pretty good. The gripe I have with the controls is sometimes I accidentally grab the ground, there's a pretty long reach to initiate the climbing, not a deal breaker once you're aware of it.
Nobody talks about this game anymore and it's a real shame because I think hardware has caught up to it and most experienced VR players by now will have no problem with motion sickness. If you have a mid range RTX 30 card or up and are comfortalbe in VR, I'd HIGHLY recommend this game! The only reason I docked a star is even by todays standards, you need a pretty beefy machine to get the most out of this game.
Essential VR Title. This is an amazing game in all areas and a must have for anyone with decent hardware to run it well. These are the triple AAA experiences we need to keep pushing VR forward.
