Crowe: The Drowned Armory™ features 3 separate modes of play for hours of game time.
The Story Prologue is the first installment in an episodic single-player, cinematic VR game experience. Solve room scale puzzles and engage in tactical bow and shield combat against a variety of enemy types, capabilities and sizes.
Bonus Mode! Survival Arena: Continue the fight against a slew of updated enemy types! Survive the attacks from the invading B.I.G.s to forge yourself in to the warrior your people are waiting for.
Experience Jayde: Those seeking a bit of respite from the constant action of Survival Arena can find their zen in this game mode. Here you'll be able to visit passive environments around the world of Jayde.

Error message. The application could not verify if you were logged in. Crowe will be shutting down. It looks good. I really don't want to buy again from steam, any suggestions?😊
Game designers should be required to take an archery course at least once before designing virtual bows. There's a notch on the string that the arrow rests against so that it does not wobble up and down while firing. Having the arrow wobble around in VR makes aiming far more difficult than it should be.
Navi, or Jayde or whoever kept telling me to shield. I kept telling her to shut up. The only way to attack is to put the shield down and try to aim with the wobbly bow. Putting the shield down long enough to aim pretty much guarantees getting hit. But it seems I have unlimited health in the story version, so shielding wasn't important. Randomly quick firing in the general direction seemed to get me through the fight, eventually, and then the fight and the story was over.
The meditation scenes were pretty, but completely ruined by the prominent controller hints that took up a large portion of the view. I tried to find a way to get rid of them and didn't see one. I actually like meditation apps and might have fired this one up again for that purpose, but I don't find giant controller images relaxing.
The dual pistols in the fight arena were a big improvement over the bow, maybe too much of an improvement. They worked great until the big ship arrived that seemed immune to them. I even tried the wobbly bow on it but homing didn't seem to work. Not sure what to do about the big ship, and not motivated enough to figure it out. Doesn't seem worth starting it back up for the arena either.
GTX 1070 not enough ?. Loading is a blank screen , no idea what's going on. Have to remove headset to trouble shoot. Did get to starting area, but then could not move. Seems to have high harware requirements, my GTX 1070 runs all my AAA games no problem.
Game Description is Highly Misleading. So about a two-thirds the way through what I thought was the tutorial wave combat (you know, where you learn how to fight and then the game opens up and releases you into its world) it occurred to me: this is the game. This is the whole game, beginning to end. It's a gorgeous fifteen or so minutes, but it's just fifteen minutes. Glad I only paid nine bucks for it.
Look, I'm not gonna come down too hard on this one; I like shorter experiences, but the description on this promises hours of fun. You'll have to try hard to get even one hour of etertainment from this, but fair point: what's there IS good. I'd like to see this company release a more fleshed out game using the mechanics introduced here, be that a continuation of this story or something completely new. As it is, this remains the kind of game you play through once and then use to show VR to friends.
Still, the description should be clearer: this is one level of a game. One. Not "hours of game time."
