Well polished, story driven shooter. Well polished, story driven shooter - which is a rarity in the VR scene. I skipped this for a few years given some of the negative feedback, but this seems targeted solely at the download size, which to be fair is quite high. But assuming that is not an issue, this is not one to be skipped.
How could I miss this?. This game has some of the best set pieces I've ever seen. Compareable to HL:A and Red Matter 2 I'd say. And all fits together so well, the atmosphere is thick and I found myself taking screenshots (which I never did before) all the time. It's also challenging but not too much, just right so you feel you've actually accomplished something after a mission. Gunplay is good, not the best but you've got things like manual reloading which is always nice. NPCs are likeable, and I like the voice acting and general tone. Also being German myself I was astonished about all the details from forms, books and all kind of items with german labels lying around and it all makes sense. If you want a good story driven shooter comparable with PC games in terms of quality and polish you have to try it (don't forget you can refund within 14 days if you didn't play more than 2 hours). Oh, and it's cross buy for Quest and Oculus PCVR.
Best single player MOHAA. If you've liked MOHAA or want a realistic FPS experience of WW2, this is for you! I would've payed double for the level of single player experience this game has provided. 5 stars!
170 GB????!!!!! this game is amazing i would totally recomend it but but... it take 170 gbs to download,so if you have a potato computer it will take 12+hours but if you have one of nasas spare computers probably about 1 hour, but that is just life and you have to have patience so you will need to bare in there cause be ready to lose your patience but other than that its a good game.(its 40 gigs on the actual oculus/meta quest 2 if you have it)
File Size Inexcusable. +Looks well done, like made from ground up for VR +A well put story where you are the character
-Weapons handle very poorly, despite every other aspect being stellar for VR -Weapon handling alone holds it back from being the best VR experience avaialabe -Over 170GB install size
Between poor gunplay and enourmous file size I cannot recommend this title.
Somewhat fun. Okay... I got it two years ago and I finally finished it. Not because it is long or challenging, it is helluva annoying. It takes up a ton of disc space, I think close to how much takes Asgard's Wrath, but graphics feel worse. The constant corridor-like feeling, with poor interaction (I literally couldn't light the dynamite at first try, as it took too long to realize how to start the lighter), forced cutscenes and enemies spawning out of nowhere are things that take away most of the possible fun this rather diverse game can offer. It takes us from mountains to the sea, from air combat to submarine, and that is cool. But early 2000s graphics and clunky controls just don't make it in "realistic" FPS VR after HL:A set the benchmark. And I realized only after finishing the game and checking achievements that you can use apples/cheese/pans to kill enemies. The awkward object handling never seemed to suggest such a possibility. Also it has no Russian language at all, so a few of my friends can't play it (as annoying as coincidence is, all my VR-ready friends speak it but not English so it's the lingua franca for us together) so meh, I was hoping to coop with them. But at least it's now on Steam as well (I think it was originally Oculus exclusive).
it won't frickin' download!!! i just want to play the dam game bruh. i don't give a dam that it needs 175 gb. can some one tell me how they donloaded it on pc pls!! >:(
Must buy game. The story is amazing same with graphics guns and EVERYTHING. People who write one star reviews are dumb the game is AMAZING. It is a bit pricey and takes up like 176 or something gigabytes but it realy felt like I was in WW2. To sum up It’s a one play must buy game.
