bad. I can't even cast my line, I turned on the tutorial just to make sure I was doing everything right and when I get to the part where it tells you how to cast, I do exactly that and nothing happens. Broken. This used to be so awesome but my purchase is useless at this point, I can't even play the f*** game anymore
Awesome entertainment! I'm borrowing a co-workers Rift since I've never tried VR before. This was the first app I bought/tried outside of the stuff that comes with the Oculus. I'm blown away. This app alone has pretty much guaranteed I'm picking up my own Rift soon. I put over 2 hours straight into this immediately after buying it and if I didn't have to get some sleep before work tomorrow, I'd probably be putting more into it. The environments are very immersive, the fish start off easy but then you really get into some real tough fighters. I've lost a couple big ones right next to shore. The directions you have to move the rod and the lighting fast reflexes required to hook some of the bigger fish make for a fantastic and fun challenge. Can't wait to see what's coming in the future DLCs. Definitely a recommended buy from me!
Best fishing game in quest. Probably the most fun fishing game on quest. Really hit the mark with this one. You also get the PC/VR version and the quest version in a single purchase so it’s a great value.
abandonware. i adore this game, but i have bad eyesight, the PCVR version is much better in terms of graphics. i cant read a single thing in the quest version. please just update your game. the quest 2 version is good, but graphically its no good if im being honest. im even wearing my glasses in the headset, and still cant read most of the shop text.
I love it but. I need access to the quest version of the game on PCVR!!! these guys are way behind. they keep updating the oculus version, but the rift version is still 4 years old. no access to any of the DLCs. it has been promised, but so far nothing. the graphics are WAY BETTER ON PCVR.!!! COME ON, DEVELOPERS, PLEASE 🙏
Abandoned. I would like to play this because it looks much better when played from PC but it has no updates or progress from quest 2. This is just very basic version of the game with less features.
PC version Should NOT be sold. Looks like they have basically dropped the PC version altogether. I bought VR fishing 6 times.. Once for 2 Oculus Gos then once for PC then twice for 2 Quests 2s . Go was Dropped completely the APP won't even open. The PC version just Sucks.. you can fish but only lures which acts like its float fishing its weird and only has South Korea. Fishing mechanics on the PC are a Joke..I wonder why is it still being sold? Its great on the Quest 2... but very dissappointed I threw away money for PC and GO versions.
Quest 2 graphics ok, PCVR graphics best. The Desktop PCVR version is only available for seporate purchase and is not compatable with the Quest 2. No DLC's. When I texted with the Dev, he said they won't be coming out with a PCVR version. I'm very disapointed only because I get such great clear graphics on PCVR and in the Quest version its just ok. Yes, you can tweak your settings with other apps, etc. But its a pain to do it all the time and its limited. That said, this is my favorite game. I have the complete game with 2 current DLC's. There are "fishing competitions", Scores, Prizes, group fishing and the chat is voice! Yes, voice! Create a puplic, private or group room. Or just fish alone and feel the stress of the day wash away with the waves. Real VR Fishing is worth every penny.
Why is it two different versions?. I purchase this game on my Oculus quest 2 and decided I wanted to stream it to my frineds online. going into the store I saw that it was a different version of the game. However, I did not have to buy the game again and it just let me downlaod it. What was irritating was that I logged in and I had to completley start over form level 1 and in south korea only. pretty half assed work if you ask me. Not cool.
