With this virtual reality experience, you don’t need a bulky spacesuit anymore to travel into outer space and land on planets, satellites or comets in our Solar System. Now you can experience how it feels to stand on the surface of these bodies, view the amazing scenery there, and get a better understanding of the differences between these heavenly bodies and the Earth. You can also bear witness to mankind’s great accomplishments in the exploration of outer space and get to know the landers and probes used and their designs.
Currently you can experience the following sights: 1) The Moon and the Apollo Lunar Module 2) Venus and Venera 7 3) Mars and the Curiosity rover 4) Titan and the Huygens probe 5) 67P Comet, the Rosetta probe and the Philae lander 6) Saturn and the Cassini orbiter
The Most Pointless VR experience. The whole point of VR technology is being able to render things in true to life scale, that is it's whole selling point. You then make an app called "Journey to Alien Worlds" which doesn't offer any entertainment value other than being able to experience another environment in as true to life as it can possibly be, which is fine by me, it's what I was hoping for. Why then, is Saturn the size of house? and Enceladus the size of a bouncy castle? what is the point of your app if it's not creating things in true to life scale? I could've just watched a 2D video and got the same experience, you've completely missed the point of VR and stole my money from me. You literally had ONE JOB, what an absolute waste of space app.
The graphic rendering of the planetary objects' surfaces is very good, expecially the probes/landers/sattelites, but the dust and stones look a little "blobby" up close. I loved being able to to get an in-action view of and experience of the probe around Saturn, and those on the surfaces of Venus, Titan, and a Comet. The cross section of Enceledus showing its sub-surface ocean was a plus. There are much better VR experiences for Mars and the Moon though. The lack of a menu, drop-in points, or any control markings is frustrating. Advancing to the next scene is often difficult and confusing. This would be a perfect addition to the much superior "Titans of Space" VR experience. As a stand-alone, it's low price makes it worth downloading.
Good VR experience. An overall enjoyable little space exploration VR experience with decent graphics and some fun facts about various space exploration missions and info on planets. This could use a few more locations and I really wish that there was an option for full locomotion and smooth turning to make moving along the surface of the different locations more immersive (I hate teleportation and snap turning). But if you're interested in space, it's worth a pickup (when it goes on sale).

Both Good and Standard experiences here. My Initial Thoughts: Some impressive set pieces mixed with some generic ones, which I have seen done better in similar experiences.

For me, this is what VR is about! I love being on worlds I never thought imaginable. I'm greedy though, and hope there are more journeys to come. Thanks to the developers for transporting me to the surface of some of our nearest galactic neighbors! Truly astonishing!
