Ten years ago, Google Earth began as an effort to help people everywhere explore our planet. And now, with more than two billion downloads, many have. Today, we are introducing Google Earth VR as our next step to help the world see the world. With Earth VR, you can fly over a city, stand at the top of the highest peaks, walk along new streets, and even soar into space.
Now, at 196.9 million square miles, we know the world is pretty big, so we’ve made it easy to find great places to visit. Earth VR comes with cinematic tours and hand-picked destinations that send you to the Amazon River, the Manhattan skyline, the Grand Canyon, the Swiss Alps, and more.
The best VR experience there is. This is my favourite go to VR experience, which in my opinion fully justifies the cost of buying the equipment. I am delighted that Google are continuing to develop the 3D Earth model and adding new places regularly. I have tried a few of the clones of Google Earth VR (Earthquest, AnyWR, Wooorld) and although they are OK they are nowhere near as good as this. Keep up the good work Google!!

the universe is on my hands. this is the best i can literally fly around where ever i want and go into street view and I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD ASK FOR MORE WHEN I ALREADY HAD STREET VIEW.
The best - now bring it to quest 3! Best hands down. It makes you feel something different from every other experience. A sense of how small you are and how amazing the planet is. I wish they would continue to develop this and also make it available for quest 3 which is easily capable of running it.
Others have tried to create similar to run native on the quest, but they fall short and don't offer the sense of wonder that this does.
An amazing experience through our planet. This is such a thrilling and dare I say, relaxing experience. The fact that you can fly to the Eiffel Tower, and then directly to the very mouth of Mount Fuji and just sit there, is simply wonderful.
My only wish is that the 3d models were more realistic and well done.
Most useful App for common VR Users. This one makes sense for anyone to install. Learn geographics, get to know your neighbours or explore the wide world. Experience places you may never see yourself, plan your holidays or learn about the cities were news happen...
WHITE ORB FIX. i was really dissapointed that my favourite vr game wasnt working because of amd drivers. but amd fixed this issue with the newest drivers

Reason to have Quest2. Only reason I have the quest 2 device!
Solved by AMD driver update. Same problem as the ones below. I visit AMD's web site and run Auto Detection tool provided by AMD and install its suggested driver version. Now it works as before.
This used to work for Quest 2 but no mor. This was a fantastic program that allowed beautiful views of any place on the earth, but apparently recent changes in the Quest 2 OS have broken it and it hasn't (as of 1.5.17562.211) been fixed. There is a white hemisphere that follows the hand controls instead of the head. It blocks your vision if the hand controllers are also within your vision. The button legends which used to show which button did what still appear, but are blank. As it is, the program is now unusable. Please take the time to fix it, guys.
