Wrench is a mechanic simulator where players prepare and maintain race cars. The parts in Wrench are the most detailed of any game in the genre. The car assembly is fully serviceable with over 800 individual parts. Extreme attention has been paid to even the smallest components, including fasteners which are accurate to the thread pitch and install torque.
In this early access release you will:
*Earn XP to unlock new jobs, new tools, new parts, and new activities.
*Use a variety of tools including ratchets, an impact wrench, fluid bottles, an engine stand, a gantry crane, and more.
*Earn money by completing customer jobs and participating in races.
*Enter your own cars into races ranging from sprint formats to endurance races. Perform critical maintenance during a race by calling your car to the pit area.
*Prepare your car for the faster unlimited class with turbo parts, aero improvements, suspension components, racing slicks, and more.
(Quest 2) Missing some point. On a general point of view after 4-5 hours of gameplay, this is the best VR game for mechanic. It is very nice to play and you don't feel slow when you work on the car. As negative points, the cars feels like they are always the same, it would be nice to have more variety. On the Quest 2, via the AIRLINK method, you don't hear the sound coming from the game.
This is a very good game and I would buy it if I were you.

Doesn't get updated here anymore. Buy it on steam I guess
on quest 2 via Airlink missing sound. i just got a wrench for quest 2 i play via airlink and i can't hear the sound in that game. Does anyone have the same problem?
Very good. Hi I just got this game. It is excellent by the way well worth the money. Question for the Devs though, do you plan to make it stand alone for the quest 2 in the future. Oculus air doesn't work great for me as my internet isn't great and running oculus link is also a pain. That being said it is a really well made game
It was on my quest and it disappeared. Had this game on my quest 2. Played it once and now there is no trace of it. Went on the phone app and bought it again and it refuses to find my headset to install. Just says can't find headset.
Incredibly Accurate Mechanic Sim. This game will probably only appeal to some people, but you will probably know if you want to get it by looking at it.
If you are considering it is brilliant and the devs are active and responsive in their discord server and update the game well and in good time.
I was amazed at the detail that was put into everything, with complete engine rebuilds possible and rewarding and detailed. Not only this but the ability to simulate racing with the car you tune/build is a great sign of things to come despite it's early stage of development.
Where’s my game?. I paid for the game, money was removed my account and now I can’t play the game or even find it on the store. Is anyone else having this problem? And if the developers see this, either help me out or I’d like my money back.
Best VR game ever. I am completely in love with this VR game. It is both an educational and highly entertaining game that will keep you coming back to play car mechanic. If you have ever wanted to fully understand car engines and work on them this is your chance to do so, and without oil and grime on your hands that won't wash off! Even in EA this game is the pinnacle of VR technology with both DLSS and Ray Tracing support. It is probably one of the best looking games and I look forward to seeing how they will build out this game with more content. The only downside is you need a pretty hefty system to enjoy all the eye candy. Otherwise 10/10.
Might not be for everyone. I really enjoy playing this game but it might not be for everyone. Its very detailed so if you like cars and want to learn more about how they work, then you will like playing this. A lot of the gameplay is quite monotenous though and consists of, waiting for fluids to drain/fill, screwing and unscrewing a bunch of screws, and walking back and forth to grab different tools in your shop. I personally find this quite relaxing but you might find it boring. The game is pretty polished at the moment for what it is, but its clear the devs still have a lot of things they want to add.
Help please. I purchased this game not knowing that it wouldn’t play on my quest 2. If anyone knows how to make it work, please let me know what I need to do. I might to get a computer and install virtual desktop to play it. Thanks for any help
Won't Work Please Help!!! I have just bought wrench and was very excited to play it, but when I tried to launch it the graphics looked a little off but I ignored it and continued. Once I got into the tutorial area everything was messed up, I couldn't see any of the menus (watch, tablet or main tutorial menu) and the area was not rendered properly. I tried to skip the tutorial just to see if it was normal in the game but when I went through the door the garage was not rendered at all and the menus were not showing.I know what it should look like as I launched the game in desktop mode after to see what it was like and it was working fine. I tried to restart the game a few times and my PC but the problem would not go away. Please help, I want to play the game!!
