EmbodyMe is an app that lets you automatically create a 3D model that looks exactly like you from just a single photo of your face and communicate with people in various ways as if you were really talking to them in person.
With any photos, not only your own, you can easily transform into a celebrity or friend, switch gender, or otherwise become who you truly want to be.
Your hand and body gestures and facial expressions are mirrored in real time in your VR avatar, creating a sense of presence as if you were really there.
You can not only engage in real communication in which users talk, shake hands, and punch each other while changing expressions, but can also enjoy communication not possible in reality, such as taking medicine to become ugly, flying through the sky with balloons, or being stuck with arrows.
Users can also take commemorative photos with the people they meet, or take videos singing and dancing together, and share these on Facebook or Twitter.

Broken. Can't get past the loading screen no matter what I do
Won’t even get past the loading screen. Broken. Won’t even get past loading screen. Voice says to “press A”, but nothing happens. Reinstalled, but did not fix it.
Did not work at all. I launched the game and selected to be a male, while trying to select a picture to use the game crashed and after relaunching I was not able to do anything. It was stuck on a loading screen trying to get me to select already prepared avatars I think and wouldn't let me do anything.

Horrible. I took a picture and it made me look ugly such a bad game not worth it
App Not Working. Says to look to the right for a premade photo but does not load anything. Just keeps buffering. Does not offer you any other options. And judging by the non responses from the developers and a lot of people saying it is not working and no solution even being offered. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still got the same thing. Don`t waste your time.
Doesn't work. It loads, shows my controllers and tells me to "Press A" but nothing happens after I pressed A or any other button. Why are you producing software like that?
Wow! There will be lots of gender-bending, pick-your-face VR games, and this one is pretty good! You can be Doland Trump, President Obama, Angelina Jolly, Mark Zuckercorn, and others! I guess you can import your own face too, but that would be dull! This might have been one of the first games I've played with native Vive support, but also Revive like handling of the Oculus Touch Controller. I don't think it actually uses revive, but I was glad to see developers don't have to really support both controllers if they don't want to. You can eat pills and play some games and such. It's basically yet another vr social-experience that came too early, and just serves to over saturate a very small market. Oh well! The environments are very lackluster, and it was not the most performant game I've played, but I got by. I tried a multiplayer session, and the lag was insane, but stable. While nobody will hang out in these spaces, I did have one very strong powerful experience with a stranger on my first play through of this... Missed Connections: It was my first VR kiss! I was Angelina Jolie, and you were the other lady. We danced, we played, and we passionately kissed. There was no sound for me. WHO ARE YOU? Where are you? My name is byteframe! What is your name? Not worth the download! APP is BROKEN! Complete waste of time, don't even bother downloading. When it loads it just says "Let choose a photo that's been prepared" and all it does is load without pulling anything up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and get the same thing. This app is broken and doesn't seem to have any support, or anyone that cares for it anymore. It's a great idea, but that's as far as it goes, it's still just an idea. Definitely don't download until you see something about an update and/or a message from the devs. I wouldn't and I don't expect anything though, this has been out awhile, and obviously from my review, the app has not been tended to and doesn't show any sign that it will be. Maybe somebody that actually wants this concept to work will pick it up and make something of it.
