or the first time, 70 masterpieces from the De Fornaris collection are being exhibited together for the inauguration of the Fondazione's new Virtual Museum. Throughout its almost forty years in the world of art, the Fondazione De Fornaris had never possessed a "physical" museum, in which its extensive collection could be permanently on display. This is what gave rise to the idea of starting from scratch and designing "Il Museo che non c'è", an innovative virtual museum that showcases, highlights and allows anyone to admire the Fondazione's most outstanding works of art. An example of one of the very few museums in the world without a real presence, yet purposely conceived to be visited and experienced exclusively via the Internet. An Art Museum In Your Room. I enjoyed immensely this collection of high quality art. The VR simulation is close to real as the physical art museums that I find it hard to travel to. I found it easy to navigate, standing up. It would useful to have the controller turn the view instead of having to turn my body. I hope the developers inspire the creation of more such art collections for viewing.

Very cool idea....but. If you guys added the ability to ENTER into the or PEEK into the paining and see it in 3D that would make this go viral!!!! Imagine walking INTO starry nite!!!!

bad locomotion. There’s no way to rotate (using the thumbstick or any other way). This means you have to stand or buy a swivel chair. If you try seated anyway, there’s no height adjustment, so it’ll be like you’re a 6 year old looking upwards towards a painting and reading the info will be very hard. :)

Acceptable. The quality of the paintings could be better, there is no controller support at all. Everything is controlled by the hmd. There is no sound too.

A bit cumbersome. Can't really get close to the art, but it's all still nice.
