I bought a Quest 2 because of this app. I tried a friends vr headset at a party, it had games and all that i wasnt sold... he told me he could watch movies on the moon SOLD, bought a quest 2 and now i watch my ed, edd n eddy dvds on a penthouse.
Forget there are cinemas :). Since the beggining it was really buggy and I still had crashes, but now everything works perfectly. The experience from 4K movies (or even 3d) is breathtaking. I would recommend a few things... push to talk is missing. I would really appretiate to not to switch off/on mic in the menu, just push something by the controller. Also sometimes I have problem to play movie with more sound channels. It would be great to stream more than 1080p...
This app is really going Downhill. Man, this app is going downhill fast. First off, I can't even log into my YouTube or visit third-party sites. It's frustrating because the technology to do that exists, but for some reason, they're refusing to make it available through a browser. It's even more annoying because the app used to have that feature, and they randomly got rid of it. Plus, they hardly ever update it or add new rooms. To top it off, I can't use the standalone for Quest 2 anymore because the update messed up the audio, making it sound all choppy. What a letdown! Honestly I'm willing to pay for the app if they improve it.
Very satisfied. Excellent job on this app. I always love coming back to vr cinema to watch some films or videos. It was buggy at the start, but now, it works great for me. Please, dont abandon the development of it, it really has a huge potential. Good luck with the future updates

It’s great that you introduced a store, I hope that the varnishing of the bar is just the beginning, and perhaps my proposal is also already in future updates, in general I would really like to see a nightclub location in the store with a small dance floor and at least a minimal effect of color music. You could also add props of neon sticks and similar accessories.
i got banned. I was playing bigscreen when i had a 4 player room as me as the host my friend was playing porn in the room when it wasnt marked as nsfw. i got banned for showing illegal content???!!! WTF BIGSCREEN? i did nothing illegal and you should revoke my ban and you never gave me the information to appeal my ban if you could please email me.
Lack of support for 24p playback. Even after setting refresh rate of my Quest 2 to 120 Hz, movies don't look smooth. They should, because 120 is a mutliply of 24. For some reason they jitter just like playing 24p movie on 60 Hz display. That's a blocker for me, I can't use it for watching movies, unfortunately. :(
It's fun, but your eyes might suffer! It's a cool app, but your eyes can suffer because you're far away from the screen and the eyes may not respond well to small text, as I think you need a screen like when you watch TV or cinema in real life
Good, but needs some additions. It's a nice simple, effective way to consume content in a variety of different immersive environments. However without the below features, I couldn't rate it 5 stars.
= Have the ability for a host to create silent rooms where everyone is muted Or at the very least = Have the option for a push to talk room
As a frequent host, I am constantly having to kick screaming children, or people that have background noise blasting through their mics and ruining both mine amongst others cinematic immersion. It wouldn't be acceptable in a real life cinema, and it shouldn't in something that's emulated to be exactly that.
Depending on the luck of the gab within each server I host, a lot of the time, I spend more of my time trying to find these trolls than actually enjoying the content.
It's frustrating more becuause it should be such an easy fix from a development standpoint..
Very cool movie theater. if you dont wanna spend money for real life movies just get big screen its super fun you can hangout with other players watch movies or video games.
