Good and bad. The game has a really good story and gameplay but if your game glitches, you need to pray to god. Imagine spending hours on this game just for a quest to glitch and turn the game unplayable. I’ve tried to get help on the discord but I got banned and I don’t even know why. It was really weird and I don’t know how to appeal. If the Developers see this My discord is: ChromaBVR and I need help to fix this glitch in Zenith: The last city. But if they don’t respond this game DESERVES a 1 star
my favorite game. this is hands down my fav game ever i love it and btw ive played and own alot of games it may be buggy at times but i feel it gives it character plus the comunity is the absolute best i hope the devs keep it going forever they have done great with expanding it so far
Great implementation of a VR mmorpg. I love the idea of the game. What I noticed in VR that you can dive deep into the virtual world if you have the feeling your own vr character actually lives in the vr world and an open world gives you exactly that feeling. It feels like you are in a different world, it's fun to climb trees or rocks you can roam through the lands and beat enemys. Especially when I started the game I loved the concept. The game has many features and ideas I have never seen in other VR games before. But I must say that the game can be a little monotone if you play for a longer time, especially if you play in single player mode. New places don't really offer anything different or new. But I must say that the design of the world is great. It looks pretty and feels really fresh. All in all worth to buy and play
wawawewa celestial throne. The quests are buggy. The enemies gitter all over the place when killing them. But, It has a big world to explore. The pcvr experience looks so amazing at maxed settings. Devs pls, pls, pls, add fiat purchasble cosmetics, so that you don't run out of money. I am a Guild wars 2 avid gamer that loves making my characters look pretty, I've spent 1000s of dollars in this aspect.
I bought the game twice. Once from g2a for $15 for steam...didn't know if I would like it so I got a deal. I love it so I bought the game a second time on the oculus store to support the devs(I know it is a small contribution but still). I know the 1 star reviews say that the devs aren't fixing(bug/s) this and that , but it needs a balance of new content and bug fixes to keep everyone happy. The steam version is in early access and player are happy.
Don't follow the Oculus/meta reviews, follow the steam reviews. You will see a bigger scope of the game.
What a world! What a bargain! This is the best VR_MMO. The price is super reasonable, and they keep improving and adding content (at no additional cost). It's not a flawless game, I wouldn't expect perfection... but what I do see is reactive improvements over time. The community is also great (most are very helpful to each other). The number of 'kids' is limited and I play daily with folks from their late teens up to their 70s! You'd be hard-pressed to find such immersive, endless entertainment for around 30 bucks.
Read my review. If you’re looking for a polished perfect product this isn’t gonna be for you. There are still a lot of things that need addressing and fleshing out. With that said I will tell you to give it a chance. Yes, it’s a little repetitive and buggy but once you start gaining momentum and you find yourself a few friends and a guild then it starts to get good. I dig the community and my guild mates have been super helpful. Totally worth the investment if you can see past the little kinks the dev team is working to iron out. It’s what I’ve been looking for in a vr rpg or at least it’s on the right track. Can’t wait to see what the future holds
Update… so it’s been nearly a year since I started. There's been ups and downs as with anything. Truth is... I love this game. It's part of my everyday life to hop on and see friends, make new ones, help out new zenithians get going, and doing things with my guild. Haven't made it to the last added content yet, but I've noticed the devs hard at work resolving issues as they come up. It's a great community and for 30 bucks I've probably logged 200+ hours. Things are taking off since the addition of psvr and more is coming. The difference in play styles is notable between classes and subclasses which makes replayability very high. If you're on the fence about Zenith... hop on over. Look for Arcane if you get lost or want a new buddy. I could honestly keep going but you just gotta come see it for yourself. It's been a great year and I hope for more to come. Arcane out. Hope to see you in game.
Amazing except the level throttle. The game is a lot of fun even playing it on the quest natively.
That being said, I hate and I mean I HATE that all the power and all the HP and every other stat gets hacked to pieces in lower level zones. It’s absolute crap. What’s the point in going out and leveling if I’m never actually stronger? Why am I level 20 and get dropped by a group of low levels? There is no logical reason.
I’ll pop head shots on other level 20 enemies doing over 1000 damage and then I can only do a quarter of that in lower level zones. Lower level areas are good for material farming and so it should be easy to plow through them, yet it isn’t. It’s like getting punished for actively playing the game.
I’m willing to overlook the stuttering and other little bugs here and there because it’s running straight off the headset, but this is intentionally programmed into the game.
Also, max level is only 40 which is an odd place to cap it. When has max level been 40? 99 is common along with 100. 40 though? It just seems unfinished.
Again, it’s fun, but there still a lot of work to get done here.
I want to love this so badly. Zenith. Where do I begin? Probably the start. When I first saw Zenith, I was almost scared to buy it because it sounded too good to be true. An actual vr mmo, where you can make a home, farm crops, harvest resources, craft gear, cook food, and most of all, band together to take down a bunch of enemies. When I did buy it, I was blown away. It was so fun. I was having the time of my life. unfortunately, some issues that I have been running into make this game a bit...unenjoyable.
First; The fact that levels and stats are messed with going into low level zones. The whole point of low level enemies is that they're easy to kill, but you get very little out of it. Now you just get very little out of it, because enemies scale to your level. What's the point of all this grinding if you never actually get to feel stronger?
Second; The combat has more issues then I know where to begin. First, hitboxes seem awfully...well, awful. An attack will completely pass through my sword and hit me, despite never actually even touching me. The dodging is near pointless, because of both this and the lag, and it doesn't even make enemies lose track of you, and doesn't give you I-frames. A dodge should always do one of these 2 things I feel. And the lag. Oh dear god the lag. Half the time I can't tell If the enemies are trying to move to a more tactical position or take up a career in tap dancing, before they teleport behind me and take out half my health in attacks that I had no way to see coming.
This game is so good. And I want to love it so bad. But the combat just feels impossible to enjoy. Not to mention the terrible guides and lack of inventory management options. I just went on my first dungeon run with one other guy and both me and him were completely stuck on what to do next.
This game has such massive potential, but there's many more issues that need to be addressed. I hope to see this game rise.
Devs ruined game. The devs have not released a single update that hasn't been sigificantly broken. They take issue when people bring up "fast flying" - a bug in the game that was actually pretty fun but instead of really trying to keep it, they removed it and then have the audacity to negatively react when players continue to bring it up. When they were alerted by players who test the pre-release about big bugs, they still push it through to publishing/production. Big bugs include broken raids, quests, lagging, incorrect hit boxes, etc. I once died at Vulcane boss even though I was nowhere near him and he wasn't attacking at the moment. There are also tons of little bugs that don't break the game, but detract from the experience. This game used to be awesome and a ton of fun, but the bugs, total disregard for all of the bugs from the devs, the combative push back from them, and the trolling from other players in their Discord is atrocious. I don't feel comfortable giving them feedback anymore since other players on their Discord will just troll without any moderation, so I'm just giving them a poor review instead. Stopped playing because this game has gone downhill badly.
