Lots of sweating but fun! Great design, fun and fast paced combat mechanics. Yeah, it can get repetitive, but which game doesn't? The real awesomeness is in the multiplayer, of course!
Great mechanics, but repetitive. There is so much potential in this game. The mechanics are great for combat(though could use speed adjustment on turning and better area for throwing knives) but overall excellent mechanics.
The issue is the levels stay the same. it becomes the same grind again and again where each floor will have the same as last time. say you go to 17, well next time you hit 17 itll be the EXACT same mobs in the same arena and theres not many variants of enemies to face. this considered, it is a very long repetitive grind to get anywhere in this game and youll likely burn yourself out pretty quick facing the same things every time.
other issue would be if you strike too fast, it will not keep up. say i make 10 strikes in a second dual wielding, well it probably read 3-5 of those strikes.
If they kept the mechanics but added more variants to what you do, it would be a 5 star game easily.
a lot of potential. The game has a lot to offer, sadly it doesnt offer a lot.
What i mean is the gameplay mechanics are great, the graphic design as well, but, no scenario, no quests, always the same creatures we fight, so sad when we try it and realize it was such cool mechancis.
tracking is absolutely awful. i cannot reccomend this game at all the tracking in the game is broken you hit an enemy? your arm is gone.you block an attack? your arm is gone. you parry an attack?is gone no matter what the tracking is broken and they wont refund the game for some unknown reason
can't even play. after downloading the game it gave me the same message 5 times in a row "communication error" even when i start the game about 15 seconds to a minute later the message pops up and i can't play anymore the only thing i want is to be able to play this game without internet connection
No Sound?. Its a really great game but for some reason whenever i try to play there isnt any music or sound and when i pause the game the sound comes back, but when i unpause it it goes away again. is anyone else having this problem?
Tried at Quest 2. I only tried at Quest 2 but It is so good at Quest 2 too. It will ran at PCVR better.
There 3 or 4 game options, you can fight at 101 floor with some people or solo, You can protect an area with some people (I didn't saw many people in that mode, mostly bots), and lastly i guess you can fight at some levels and get weapons for game modes other than 101 floor. You get your weapons for 101 floor at playing 101 floor gamemode
There is 101 floors at this game and you need to go to 101. floor to fight a boss named Gargantua. You don't have to go to every floor. When you complete one floor it is going to show you some areas (Shop, Next Floor). There could be 2 or 3 next floor areas. Some floors are going to one floor forward, some of them is 2 or more floors forward ect. But when you more forward other than one floor i guess there is some curses. You will level up at tour when you gain more xp or something like that. It will reward you with some power ups. You can choose one of that three power up. There is going to spawn some weapons at every floor other than 101. floor i guess. You can't use at another 101 rounds because it is not going to be at your inventory.
The fight mechanic is good, very good in my opinion. But it is not feeling like cutting, more like forcing the sword over it, It is like slipping the sword over something. But It didn't irritated me that much. You can dodge at game and defend you self. There is some intresting weapons. Two handed swords, one handed swords, something like spear I guess (Only at 101 floor, you can only take from an enemy but you could get it at your inventory), axe, some throwable weapon, shield(At 101 floor you could not get it at your inventory)...
If you like fighting games or you tried and liked Battle Talent (Which I did and find this game), you can buy this game. As I said It will be better at PCVR(Don't know about the graphics because it is around 3GB and at Quest 2 It is something around 3GB too.)
A Father and Son's new fav. I was uncertain at first given some of the older reviews but I trusted the newer ones and was not dissapointed.
Even at full price, the ability to cross play was well worth it and my seven year old have been having a blast hacking and slashing together in multiplayer.
The roguelite RPG elements of building up your gear and character are there which will keep me interested for some time to come.
Good game and the devs are keeping it fresh it seems (regular posts in the games updates)
Awesome Game! The game itself is awesome, the only negative thing I can think of is how similar the levels are, and they really need to add more enemy types, theres 9, 4 of which are variations of a single enemy type.
