Do you have what it takes to be the Mightiest in Barbaria?
Welcome to a brutal world where visceral motion-controlled combat blends seamlessly with god-scale base-building and asynchronous multiplayer raids.
Use fists, axes, swords, bows, rocks, or anything you can grab to dominate your foes in intense 1st-person combat. Then jump out to your immortal form and watch your minions carry on the battle while you rain down meteors from above. Systemic combat, versatile enemy AI, and player-created defenses make every battle unique.
But remember, you aren’t the only Semigod in Barbaria! Attack other players’ realms to increase your Mightiness, and receive rewards when you successfully repel others. Watch replays in miniature from your Stronghold, then strategically place and upgrade more structures, champions, and minions to keep future attackers at bay.
Features: ● Kill it your way: 1st-person combat with a variety of weapons and minions who can serve as both allies and enemies ● Asynchronous Multiplayer: Attack player-created realms, and get attack notifications each time you launch the game ● Realm Building: Snap together realm Fragments and strategically set up your defenses ● Raid Replay: Watch tabletop replays of attacks on your realm by other players ● Death from Above: Hop out to god-scale and use Ancient Powers to direct the battle from on high
The one VR game I keep coming back to. There's just something about that feeling of wading into battle, weapon in hand, fighting alongside a small horde of my own minions as I crush, cleave, and pummel my way through my enemy's realm that I can't get enough of. Then there's the design aspect - where you set up your own realm and populate it with traps and minions you place like little figurines to challenge, trip up, or just entertain would-be invaders. Then watching the replays of your attackers' attempts the next time you log in, seeing how they were crushed by your devious machinations or how they heroically prevailed against them, and making adjustments accordingly. All while climbing the leaderboards in both attack and defense, ever striving to get just a little higher.
They have a nice little Discord community in which the devs and players alike are friendly, and the devs are very responsive to player feedback, keeping a close eye on balance issues and very quickly nipping potential player exploits in the bud - while continuously working on additional content for the game, of course. All in all a great experience!

no cloud saves? このような場合、「quickstarter.com」をご利用ください。 このような場合、「quickstarter.com」をご利用ください。)

no cloud saves?. Great game and others have reviewed it better. Id add it is more of a arena fighter as you clear an area before next is unlocked. All ghood tho and very addictive. My only gripe is that i play on quest 2 and occulas pc software but i cant carry my progression over from one platform to another. When a game says cross platform i assume i can my play my "account" on any platform. Any Developers have a fix for me? :)
A Real Hidden Gem. How this game is not more well known I dont know ... It's brilliant! It borrows from the over the top physics combat games like Gorn while having some of the most addictive elements of "addicting" (that's not even a real word btw) mobile games. You basicly amass a collection of creatures, traps and weapons by attacking other players pre-built bases, then use these spoils of war to upgrade your own base and help protect it from attack by those same other players. Sound really simple, but the presentation and graphics are top tier, it's updated regularly and has a cool sense of comedic style running through it all. Also Jazz music and lots of goblin type things. It's like one of those kingdoms mobile games where whales always win everything, except this is more stab to win than pay 2 win. Also I beat a goblin to death with his friends severed head, 5 stars.
good but. this is a good game and all untill i went to go play and i saw that it siad that my headset wasent connected. even tho i had my headset connected. so do you mind fixing that

Great game with unique mechanics! After more then two years of Vr experience and playing all the games like Blade and Sorcery, Gorn, etc.. I have to say I was really surprised how much i enjoy the concept of Barbaria! Its really something different with huge amount of possibilities! Join Discord with friendly devs helping anyone who needs them! :)
Noice. Amazing game. Love the humor and the combat. The base building is also FUN. looking forward to seeing where this goes. Divine Juice is cool. I would rather see a setup with something like 1-5 orb that you can use according to character lvl. During combat a quick glance at my wrist isn't always clear if I have a usage available. Have like gems/orbs on your wrist that glow when you can use it.. get my drift? love the game not criticizing just my feedback.
Moving Wall Doesn't stay down quite long enough. Just 2 or 3 steps away you can't pass by. Maybe something like a rushing shield bash or a dash in general.
I loved gorn. This game might get confusing if you're not paying attention to the onboarding. I feel like there's a lot of almost meaningless stuff. Upgrades and stuff.
I like the gameplay. I like the game loop. I'm not a fan of the slower mobile game esque features like the way we choose fights, the way we upgrade characters or weapons, the many places for things to be scattered within the safe area menu thing.
The game is right there for good gaming but the general presentation isn't VR friendly. IMO. I don't want to walk around the edge of the safe area looking for the right place to upgrade this or that, or which pillar is hiding the little goblin to add to my dungeon. I wish there was text indicators for availability, limits, etc.
The games awesome 😎 but for me gorns layout was much simpler and better tuned. It's similar to how they did this but imo it's too big, not labeled well enough and just shouldn't be as spaced out or annoying to modify your ruins or whatever. Or to find characters to upgrade etc.
WOW! This is really something special. You really need to try this for yourself.
One thing that really bothers me is the anti motion sickness options can not be turned off and needs to be fixed as soon as possible. That is the reason for the 4 stars. Once that is fixed it will be 5
........RESPONSE TO DEV....... The anti motion sickness options I was referring to are the dark binders around the border of the vision. There is no way to turn that off. Most advanced VR users don't like that because it lowers the field of view even more in a already constricting vr headset.
Also I love the immersian factor of having a huge bulky body but it does get in the way when placing minions and traps It is great while possessing and in battle . Perhaps some floating hands while not possessing.
The fashon show music was so hilarius. I love the humar factor.
Are you not entertained?. I guess this might be specific for some people, but do you remember when you were a kid playing with little plastic toys like He-man? Yeah. That's this game. With customizing your character with weapons, designing your own castle-esque land, and attacking others. I think this game is set to be an instant classic. The humor is spot on and very remniscient of Dungeon Keeper 2. I think the music nails it too. The actual gameplay of random around and killing others is pretty good but good use a little more adjustment and fine tuning. I both wish it was as nuanced as Blade and Sorcery but also as visceral as Gorn, which I get the feeling that is the direction the developers will take it. At the end of the day my critique is that I want more stuff. MORE. I want the game to be narrated. I want to customize my land and character, more. I want more soundtracks. I want more weapons. I want more minions. I get ahead of myself, but you get the idea.

Great game, very fun. I heard about this game from A Wolf In VR, and watched a couple of his videos for Barbaria. While I didn't think this would be my type of game, it looked like a great time, so I went ahead and bought it. No regrets. I have about 2 hours so far on the Quest 2 version and I am really enjoying it...took a break to come and write a review. While I do not review too many games, I wanted to write this one to make sure that anyone who may be on the fence knows that this game is worth the price. Get it!
I love this game. This game looks like if gorn was a fantasy game, gorn being one of my other favorite VR games, so I decided to check it out. I played for arround 8 hours with no breaks, invested in the world of barbaria. Why is this a four star review? Well, the cyclops minotaur has way too much heath for the time limit of five minutes, I finnaly beat one on the krank champion level and there were only 30 seconds left. I threw rocks as fast as possible, I used my bow as much as possible, I even switched to the girl with the recall to try and beat him, it took 4 minutes each time, making there be not enough time for my work to pay off. I reccomend lowering his health or getting rid of the time limit, but you guys are the devs so what do I know? overall, love the style, love the combat, love the bicep getting larger when you flex, don't care for that cylops minotaur.
I quit playing anything else. This game is seriously worth checking out at this price point. While in early access, the game is completely playable and has already received one content update.
Face off in quick 5-minute matches against the minions and arenas of your Barbarian adversaries! Swing axes, fling hammers, deflect fireballs (well, fire skulls) skewer Imps, it's all here! Thus is a great mix of real time hack-n-slash and real time strategy planning as you design your own Barbian trial.
This really hits a sweet spot personally with all the mindless action of leading a small horde while also a nice depth with the planning and development of your defensive shards.
I've honestly thought about putting together a short video, but I can't stop playing to be bothered to edit footage. Check it out!

Sooo good, lost in it for a few hours! SOOOOOO good, its so much fun watching the replay, we need more spells, weapons, monsters ....I WANT MORE!!! But, yea the replay, if you get any game for anything the replays in this one sold it for me, its so much fun watching an enemy fail at raiding your dungeon. Plus you can get super violent for their dungeons so they can watch you rub it in their faces. Most fun ive had in VR in a bit since alot of other games are just cash grabs or repeats like shooter. Kudos devs, give us updates plz
Action RPG/Realm Building Mix. This is a first impression, but.... Wow! I love it :-) Nice mix of action rpg, tower defense aspects, with improving the own characters and the own realm and attacking others for loot and currency. Feels fresh in VR. Love the 1st person gameplay with godmode casting. Replay functions is great too, bringing it in position for competative multiplayer. I too would suggest an option for removing the motion sickness vignette.
