Not recommended if you have back problem. I enjoyed this game very much. I was very immersed in it. The physics felt right. It was an interesting story. HOWEVER, I have lower back problems and after playing this game for several hours I could hardly stand the next day. So, no back problems, I would recommend a definite buy. Back problems, skip it.

Fun VR For Your Money. I've been looking at this for a few weeks now and due to the mixed reviews was on the fence about buying it. Youtube videos look good but I still couldn't decide. I don't know why I bother going by reviews to be honest, one man's meat is another man's poison and just because others don't like it doesn't mean I wont. For £23 , it's worth a punt and it helps the developers improve their titles and to keep on giving us pretty decent games such as this.I'm playing this with my Oculus Quest 2 wirelessly, my graphics card is a Nvidia RTX 2060 , got the video settings maxed out in the game and it is only slightly blurry in places but overall graphically not bad at all. Good sound and atmosphere, the boat paddle control is a cynch and very intuitive and the gun firing, aiming and reloading are all very good and pretty precise. As others have said it would be nice to be a bit more involved where the reload of the weapon is concerned to give you that bit more of a immersive experience but this in my opinion is nit-picking.I'm really enjoying this and I think there will be some replay value as you can go in and play in stealth mode or all guns blazing and then give it another go in a different way. I played about 45 mins right off the bat and got no arm ache at all. I'm certainly no athlete either .Very good game, well worth your dosh, give it a go. You might like it !

Pretty good. i dont get motion sick so i cant tell you if it helps with that, but i do know its a good game visually and mechanicly. Edit: good for arm exercise tooideas:* manual reload option {including pulling back the bolt on your sniper}cv for those who want increased realism*make it so you can stand and lean back in your kayak for easier shots*add a sniper elite style weapon system where you choose your sniper, smg, and pistol*make it so you can drag enemies into water {i havent tried this yet so mabye its already in the game}

My trip in flooded Russian city was gorgeous. I love stealth games and this is good one but on Kayak? Yeah it work, if you could normaly walk it will be better but this is uniqe style to move. I'm doesn't afraid and I play it on first time on Veteran difficulty. AI - not bad but in many times didn't see nothing and sometimes see like superhumans...graphics look nice but on High settings it too mutch motion blur (blurry) for my. Very well done, more VR similar games like that one :)

Top 5 game. As the title says. Played this through several times using the PC Rift version and the standalone Quest 2. Only wish they'd make some extra content. One of my all-time favorite VR games.
BEST GAME EVER MADE! I want to share my thoughts about the game Phantom Covert Ops. Despite what you might think, I'm not a bot for rating it five stars. I've been a huge fan of this game for years. It has an amazing storyline and voice acting that brings it to life. The game has a mix of humor and scary moments. It's really fun to play, and I found myself playing it every day. When I first heard about it, I thought it was just a simple boat game. But after seeing the high ratings, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. It's really exciting! If you're bored and not sure what to play, I highly recommend Phantom Covert Ops. If I could give it 10,000 dollars, I would. Its worth every cent.
Extremely Underrated. Don't get me wrong, the game has plenty of problems. But, it's an absolute treat of a Stealth Action Shooter. Inherently the industries only Splinter Cell VR, it can even be scary at times and get your heart pumping. Definitely try it out if you're a Stealth fan. Otherwise though, might wanna skip.

Enjoyable experience. One of the games of all time
Still cant run on newer PC's ???. I thought it looked great too and then discovered wont run on newer systems and it still isnt fixed and now warning to avoid purchasing? So nowwondering how do you either fix it or give a refund????

wont start. I just purchased the game and every time i try to run it it would not start, there is not even a blank screen.
It doesn't start on rift!! I played this game on oculus because I thought it was cool, and it was. Then I figured out how to play on rift. I installed the game being ready for cool graphics, but then it didnt launch. I pressed the start button and it just kept crashing while it tried to load. Please fix this :D
Groovy. Very fun, kayaking works well, the gunplay feels great, stealth is pretty much flawless and the story is pretty engaging. Definitely a unique idea but it totally works, worth a playthrough if you're looking for something new to play.

travesty. awkard. next time gust give me a wetsuit. or atleast create more realistic soldiers. i never slowed down going past them. piss easy on all difficulty.
Was only playable on Quest, not PCVR. Its a fun game and would recommend, Get a great workout from it too. Took about 4 hours for main story to be completed and after has about 25 challenges you can do. Has really nice replayability as there is plenty of unlockables and high scores to beat. It is a stealth game so beware as your main focus is not shoot and not get spotted. Feels a bit like MGS1 on a boat with some Golden Eye mechanics.
Why only 2 star? As suggested in the title the PCVR dose not work for this game which was the primary reason i bought the game to enjoy proper graphic. What i got was ps1 graphics on quest. 1st game i have come across that dosent work on PCVR which has ran titles like Half Life Alyx and Asgards Wrath easily and maxed out settings.
