on't Knock Twice is a first-person horror game based on a psychologically terrifying urban legend. To save her estranged daughter, a guilt-ridden mother must uncover the frightening truth behind the urban tale of a vengeful, demonic witch. One knock to wake her from her bed, twice to raise her from the dead.
Explore a grand manor house and interact with almost every object you see. To find and save your daughter, you will explore all depths of the manor, searching for hidden clues and using items to fight or escape the terror that surrounds you.
The game is based on the film, Don't Knock Twice, starring Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) and directed by Caradog James (The Machine).

too scary. i cant even play it. i'm too afraid to find out whats happening. this game is terrifying!!!!don't play alone!its not AAA but the experience is. if it had some tweaks to make the newly added motion a little smoother and grabbing objects wasnt so clunky it would be even better. but despite the flaws this game is scary!!! its the scariest vr game ive played so far.

I liked it with smooth loco. Thank you for updating to smooth locomotion, finally finished the game, was too chicken to play in one sitting. Great cripppy environment setting, good audio, and a descent story. Overall, best visual horror game I've seen so far. Only thing, the controls were clunky at times, otherwise recommend for all horror junkies out there.

It would be a great game on phoneVR. There are some bugs here and there, but the main problem is that you cannot read the ultra small and blurry text (it is impossible). So there was no way for me to fallow the story. The dev never played the game in VR because the scale of some objects is wrong : they are way too big. The way to interract with object is wrong and the teleportation does not work. It's not a scary game compared to Paranormal Activity. This game is only 2 hours long and totally not worth the price of 15$. If you really want to be scared, go for Narcosis.

Needs work, but still good. Biggest complaint at the moment is that after I pause and return to game I am no longer able to teleport.

wont work with oculus. Everytime i select which controller i want to use the game crashes and takes me to my oculus home
WILL NOT DOWNLOAD. this has been ongoing for quite a while and has not been fixed oculus is aware of the issue. this is truly why i stop buying games on oculus and only buy on steam now
Big creepy house with good scares. I don't know why so many negative reviews. This is a creepy horror game, with great graphics and lighting effects. Also the game lets you interact with a lot of objects around the house, makes it more immersive. Also the game starts up fine for me, using a Quest 2 and Airlink to play.
With that out of the way, Don't Knock Twice is a good horror story in a big house, where someone has been playing with spirt / demon worshiping and unleashed something evil. You think people would learn.
The game is the first game in a very long time to catch me with its jump scares. I have played tons of horror games, and watched tons of horror movies, yet this game still got me. Felt great to be scared again.
The smooth locomotion can be a little jerky at times, but you just actually walk around to get out of stuck spots. Other then that the controls are great, used the Quest 2 controllers.
I would of liked an inventory or note pad to keep track of things, but you will get through the game fine without.
If you are looking for a good horror game to make you jump, grab this one. It won't let you down. Also you need to check out the creepy artwork in the game.
Boring low budget indie game. This game looks and feels like a low budget indie game. You can really tell that this game must have been a pc game first with VR as an afterthought. Don't be fooled by the demo because it is actually better than the full game. I say "full" but it only lasts about an hour. The graphics are insanely faded out to the point where it becomes very difficult to see through the haze. Teleportation is wonky and doesn't work in many areas. The physics are buggy and some objects get stuck in doors. The virtual floor is too low so you will have trouble picking up dropped items. The gameplay is also so dull that I lost interest towards the end and stopped playing. This one is not for me.
Awful. The game literally won't open, the second it goes to the screen asking which controller I would like to use it crashes and goes back to the oculus home. My computer is far above the required specs and yet it still continusuly crashes
unable to install. i bought this game this morning for 19,95 euro i try to install the game (5 tries) but nothing i followd the instructons start oculus app again restart pc but nothing
Meh... Problems: -you walk SUPER slow -became boring at the middle of the game -Jumpscares are cheesy and predictable -Not worth $15 I like the story though, but overall, im disappointed. nice things: -Graphics are ok
Gets less interesting over time. This game has the same problems as one in a completely different genre, Farlands, which gets less and less interesting as it becomes harder and harder to find the required items. Likewise, in Don't Knock Twice, once you have been through all the rooms, it stops being very scary, but you still must continue on, because there are apparently items that you failed to find in the first pass-thru that you need to complete the Pentagram. Suggestions: 1. As you find and read each note, it should disappear and be added to your inventory (like in Albino Lulliby) 2. After you have found all the required objects in a certain room, it should be apparent in some way that you have done so (perhaps by closing off the room) 3. You should be able to carry the map with you, and it should show which areas have been completed (like in Dreadhalls) 4. Your phone should give you more hints and guidance (like in the demo). That way, it would be more of a scary game and less of a frustrating puzzle game.
