As the title suggests, it finally supported Japanese. Not only the subtitles and interface, but also the narration CV has been translated into Japanese! There is some dubious Japanese, but it does not hinder play. The game content is as good as the whole world praise. You can enjoy the same content as SkyRim with the latest graphics (Ryzen5 & 2060 is enough quality as shown below). StormLand hopes to support Japanese as soon as possible. This makes our PSVR a pretty dangerous situation. Old Review: Great graphics and immersive as the title suggests, but no Japanese language support and no subtitles (English). The goal and goal is a basic narration, so if you are not fluent in English, you cannot proceed with the quest. However, as you'll see in other reviews, it requires a nice and rich PC environment (I set Ryzen5 + RTX2060 LOW), but it will be the best VR game app in 2019. I would like to ask for Japanese support including narration. Otherwise, subtitles are required.
This is a masterpiece! I tried Asgard's Wrath 2 but decided to play this earlier game first. I'm using air link with Quest 3 and wow this is a huge game with a lot of detail in the graphics! ②⑤ 🅾🅵🅵 ▶️ ƁƖƠ.ԼiƝƘ/TEMETES ◀️
Simply blew me away! I wasn't prepared how immersive this game would be. I set all options to highest, playing on a high-end PC (13900KS/4090) helps. The moment you enter the world, you know you're in for a really cool experience! The gods are massive, and the characters, facial expressions, textures and environments are incredible. This game would be the one I use to "show off" VR! It's really, really cool.
Best VR Game So Far. Disclaimer: I haven't played Half-Life: Alyx yet, but from what I read, these two games are the best VR games out there, and after playing this one, there's no doubt that it belongs to the top.
This is a real, full-length game, with story, different game mechanics, a lot of main quests and side quests, nice combat, crafting that makes sense, and everything you want from an RPG game. I'm really impressed, and this showcases the potential of pure VR games in a very good way.
Very few negatives so far. The biggest one is that I felt a lot of motion sickness in the beginning, but you get used to it. Play in shorter sessions in the beginning is my advice. The throwing mechanism works poorly for me, but perhaps I just don't understand it. The title menu could be faster, especially if you want to save and quit the "proper" way, then it's too much time just looking at sequences when you want to exit the game. But that's all the negatives top-of-my-head so far.
Asgard's Wrath proudly stands as the pinnacle of VR gaming, securing its spot as the best VR game ever made! This epic journey unfolds through a 30+ hour story-driven campaign, featuring diverse mechanics, engaging quests, and combat that truly satisfies. The graphics are out of this world! Every corner of the game is meticulously detailed, creating vast and beautiful worlds that are downright AMAZING! From backgrounds and buildings to animal followers, interiors, enemies—every detail is a visual feast. The combat experience goes beyond satisfaction, immersing players in a world brimming with atmosphere. Asgard's Wrath sets an unmatched standard for VR gaming, making it a MUST PLAY for any VR owner. Its visually stunning landscapes and deeply engaging gameplay create an unforgettable adventure!
A rare example of AAA VR game. One of a the best VR game I ever moůments. 7 Combat is satisfactory, atmosphere is immersively fantastic, crafting pushes to exploration and enhances the collectibles economy.
Characters are well designed, story is driven by interesting main quests and numerous side quests.
The are also a lot us original mini games, which give variety and twist to the game world.
Remarkable +18 Hours of Content! An absolute treat! One of the best graphics I have seen in any game. The detailing work that went into this is remarkable. The story is one of the best as well. Easily on par with many 2D triple A titles. Rich amount of characters, each with depth and personality. Not a dull moment. The game play is one of the best anyone could ask for in a VR game. Easily a must play. What a treat!
This is a must own PC VR title. Took up the offer of getting Asgard’s Wrath free when you preorder Asgard’s Wrath 2. Why have I not played this game sooner? Epic game with an epic story. The gameplay is just fantastic. I could not put it down. This is a must play for any Meta VR headset owners.
A must play for every PCVR player. Undoubtedly the best made for VR RPG, featuring an engaging combat system, breathtaking worlds, and a compelling story that will keep you busy for several hours. The game is filled to the brim with content with tons of side quests to do and hidden places to explore. The only negatives are that enemy variety could be better and that the bosses you encounter when inhabiting your mortal form are too similar to each other in terms of attack patterns.
MESSAGE TO DEVS. Two drastic quality of gameplay improvements-
1) If ANY attack is parried then I hit them quickly, it should take off a SMALL amount of runic armor. Constantly waiting for the special attack slows down combat too much, leading to less enjoyment of play.
2) If I have a weapon that bleeds or poisons the enemy, it should eventually kill them. Unfortunately, you can only tick away at an enemy until about 20% hp, then they become invincible to bleed/poison UNTIL runic shield is destroyed. Forcing players to destroy the runic shield by only ONE slow method feels very restrictive to combat.
Review-PROS- The game is absolutely beautiful, one of the best looking VR games I have ever played. The change in perspective from God to Human really makes you feel like a massive being. The game has a lot of playable hours and is surprisingly long, but fun all the way through. They did a great job at making puzzles easier if it's a main quest and harder if it's a side quest for prize loot. This allows you to skip most things you might find frustrating and keeps the game progressing if you're just wanting to hack n' slash.
CONS- The combat can be VERY slow on any difficulty other than easy, but being able to switch difficulty in game, at any time, allows you to speed it up if necessary.
PS- Ignore the idiots that can't READ with the 1-star reviews, saying they can't put it on their Quest, even though it says everywhere "PC-required". It's a PC game that you got for free to showcase VR potential. It is too massive (100GBs) and graphically intensive to fit on a standalone device. That's like being mad at a rock for not being able to play youtube videos. Instead of review bombing a great game, go kick rocks.
Amazing game. One of the best games in vr, it's so good. The graphics are awesome. Really hope asgard 2 also has the possibility for pc link. It would be nice to have both, les graphics when you are not ar home or don't have a pc, and super graphics at home with your pc.
Maybe the best VR game. This is one of the best VR games I've played. Pros: - The game has a lot of content, it's really huge with a +30 hours campaign. - The worlds are huge and beautiful. It's really really beautiful that I often stop to admire my surroundings. It's probably the most beautiful world I've seen in VR. Everything from the background world, to the buildings, followers, bosses, statues, etc is so freaking beautiful. The bosses are giants and they look so cool and powerful. - The puzzles are very interesting. Some are difficult but very doable.
Cons: - I don't know why but the game breaks some times. I play the game on high quality and it runs perfectly for hours, but suddenly the image becomes wobbly when I interact with an element or there is a big animation in the game, and the only way to fix it is to save, close the app, close airlink, and open airlink and open the app again. It could be an airlink issue because If I close the game, go to the airlink home, and open it again; it's still wobbly. But if I close airlink and connect to airlink from scratch and open the game from scratch, the issue is gone.
I don't know what triggers the issue because once I open the game again, everything runs smoothly, even the same interactions that originally crashed the game. But it's fine, it only happens like once every 2 hours and it only takes like a minute to restart. It's not a deal breaker.
I'm running the game on an RTX 3070 and it runs very well. I can't believe I got this game for free years ago and I hadn't played it until now.
I can’t download ! I’d love to give this a 5 star review but it wont download! It’s says “Purchased “ and I have the button to “Install on Headset” but it won’t!! Grrrrr so aggravating! It’s been weeks now that I can’t get this! What do I do?
Super high quality vr game. amazing looking graphics. Side stuff, exploring and puzzles are fun. Hours and hours of high quality content.
The combat takes a little bit to get used to. Most interaction in game seems to lack physics, really the only bad thing i can say about the game but it truly is a masterpiece.
I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the weapon mechanics have no weight to them.
Amazing but a little odd on quest 2. when i play this game on my quest 2 its all really good and everything but i get this weird thing where the games quality just gets really bad and the screen starts like wobbling and its unplayable when it happens if you unplug and re-plug head set it will still give it so i dont know if its just me or my headset or link cable but just be aware that it might happen. its still a FANTASIC game nonetheless beyond good combat, story, exploration its just peak vr game along side half-life Alyx and more.
