Don't listen to the negative reviews. This game is a great experience. As mentioned in another review, it's not really an action game, but the feeling of being inside a small underwater craft while a Megalodon is charging against you with it's jaws wide open, is frickin scary and very awesome. In fact it's very immersive to just be close to giant underwater monsters that used to exist. Definetely worth the buy!

Great game to showcase VR. I'm glad this was one of my first purchases when I got my CV1. Besides being a game, it's not an action game, it's more of an educational experience. The graphics are really good and the game is really immersive. It was really impressive to see prehistoric creatures up close ! People complain about clunky controls, I have no idea what they were talking about. The controls behave exactly how I think a pod is suppose to feel like underwater, you just need to get use to the controls. You get this realistic sense of moving underwater. Most of the game is spent scanning different prehistoric creatures and learning about them, very interesting. There's also a little side story. The voice acting is excellent ! If you love immersion, the sense of mystery and danger water exploration, than this game is for you ! Seeing some of these colossal creatures up close is breathtaking ! Even though I purchased this game a long time ago and passed the game, I keep coming back to it and I also showcase it to family and friends. This game was working perfectly, but after an Oculus upgrade, the sound switches to my speakers instead of my Rift headphones. So I have to temporarily disable my PC speakers so the sound defaults back into my Rift headphones, this is probably because I have Windows 7. Awesome game and would highly recommend it !

Great game for VR! I feel that this game deserves better respons than it has received so far. It has really good graphics and voice acting. There are things lacking however, and that is some time-traveling to other things than just sub-sea creatures. It would have been a bit more interesing to have the possibility to visit land animals and view geographic changes when time traveling. But aside from that it's actually a really good and interesing game.

Not Again! Yet another ill-conceived idea built on boredom and convention. Somewhere alone the development timeline the Devs decided it was more important to release the title when oculus itself was still premature (no touch) then putting in the time to polish and refine the enjoyment of the experience. it seems in my opinion that in was initially developed for the touch controllers which work, yet dont work, leading me to believe they tried but failed in it's implementaion. The underwater pods navigation is slow, clunky and unresopnsive making the game a chore. After an hour i was done, never to return, like so many other titles. VR of 2016 has been a huge disappointment. I have great hopes for 2017, but wont be suprised if it takes many years before we have that "great app" the VR community is waiting for

Xbox controller required?! I just can't wrap my head around why an Xbox controller would be required for a PC VR app!! I mean what PC users actually use these? But most importantly, there are two perfectly good controllers with either Oculus Rift or Vive?! I JUST DON'T GET IT???? So yeah, I'll be trying to get a refund for this app thanks.
