Serious issues with rift s. Tracking is terrible and it can put me in a place no where near my ball so i cant even hit it. Cant finish a round bc of these issues. Needs to be updated and fixed or oculus facebook needs to take it off the store.

Its like golf to me. I enjoy this game like I enjoy golf :)To put perspective on that "real golf", yes i own clubs, last time i played a course - 10yrs ago, driving range probably 10 times a year.So this is a game and not a sim and the graphics are more towards cartoon than real. Also because its a game and not a sim you need to get a feel for the controls and how they work - not sure you could/should learn how to play real golf in this. However its good fun. Just like in real golf you get real satisfaction from hitting the ball well. Because its a game there are small hacks that you "can" do if you like (such as flick the ball very very far), alternatively just play like you would at the course and enjoy.Its early adopter but 100% playable. Things to note:- As with all golf games if your VR set uses sensors you need to make sure they can see you clearly as the swing is 100% based on them- A smooth slower (not slow) swing is better than a quick stabby swing.Things i would like to see improved- Better more realistic graphics - or just remove the cartoon stuff- Haptic feedback on the controller when you hit the ball- Ability to remove the guidance arrows and lines- As others say better UI to read the greensReally good fun game. Would get 5 stars if the scenery was better, so 5 out of 5 for fun and playability -1 star for the look.

remember the Wii. alot like the wii golf but in vr.I Love this game is a must have if you like Wii play or resort golf.So many features well worth the $$

Swing Away. 1/6/19: If you are considering this game, dont hesitate! Buy it!! Well worth the $10! Comes with 8 courses and there are already 31 custom courses from the community. Me and my brother both bought it and played it 4 hours straight. So much fun and potential! This is a sure fire purchase if you are looking for a golf game.1/7/19 Edit: after more play time I am still having a blast with this game!! It's awesome. A few things I hope the dev's add:- grid for reading greens or more defined green colors- when you pull the trigger to move ability to use joystick to spin your view would be great- additional shot types (pitch, punch)- swing meter/power meter - fix weird loading screen where everything is huge and your floating. - add full body of avatar in game so friends can see your outfits

Best VR Golf Game! This has to be the most fun VR Golf Game ever imho. Takes a little while to figure out the menus but not too hard to do. Also, I needed to adjust my VR sitting/standing position (standing is best for me) a few times to get the right perspective and sensor coverage. You just do this by hitting the occulus button and use the reset view option.I found it also was a lot easier to go to the club menu and select XL club length for all your clubs, including your putter.If you have a gamepad (X-box controller in my case) you can hit its A button at the start to get a 3rd person view like you would with a regular flat-screen game. This works well if you are a bit lazy and just want to sit down and play it like you would a regular non-VR game. VR is a litle more fun though imho.I bought both versions (Steam an Oculus) in order to see if there was much difference. Of course I think that the VR is a little smoother and faster/easier to startup with the Oculus store version. With the Steam version you need to start the game with SteamVR for VR. If you do not, it will startup non-VR in your monitor like a regular flat-screen game with a 3rd person view. Bit of an advantage if that's how you want to play it since you do not need to use your Oculus Home or SteamVR to play the game. Just need to use your Steam desktop shortcut.I prefer the Oculus Store version but I'm still glad I bought both esp. since it's only an extra $US10, lol! For Golf fans this a must buy imho.
Offline. This game was fun to play with my friends but all off a sudden it just started saying I was offline. Tried a bunch of things to fix it and all my other games work fine and there is no kind of support with this game.

Shows offline. When I try to play, the game says that I"m offline, but I'm not. I can play any other game just fine. A friend recently got Tee Time Golf and she is having the same problem. It was a good fun game when it worked.
Has Bugs. every few swings, the ball ends up 10 feet in front of me and since im not playing outside, i cant just walk over to it, it becomes a hit and miss series of switching the club from left to right hand and then zooming out and back in again to get me to the ball, makes the game almost un playable! if anyone has figured out a fix for this please let me know, and what happened to all the options? it seems it has been ruined by the update!
I love it...:D. I tried golf for 30 euros, mini golf for 10-15 euros, but this is the first one that resembles real golf! I hope there will be a quest version as well! Unfortunately, for 4 players, the server keeps shutting down,but everything is ok with 3 player...
Horrible and buggy. Requesting a refund. Not at all like golf in any sense and constantly has you facing in the wrong direction or unable to reach the ball for your shot. Just very aggravating. Could have been a cute simple golf game but instead so far it's just a glitchy mess with lots of potential but, to me, not worth trying a third time.
Much better w/Rift S since last update. You still have to reset your position by trigger+up joystick , then back down again , on putting green, but overall, very much improved on Rift S. Also, I didn't notice before, maybe it was there all along ? But the ability to turn on one controller and use one helps greately. This is noted on 2nd page of help menu.
Fun, relaxing VR golf game. First, many thanks to the developers of this great golf game. I am not a golfer in real life, but I enjoy this VR golf very much. I play this VR golf every days. Highly recommend this VR golf game to everyone. Thank you.
Cons: (Aside from the graphics) Starting shot has your opponent overlayed with you. Not necessary and it's a bit disconcerting at first. Also, while I've only golfed maybe a dozen times, it has always been with people who consider themselves well educated in the sport. Real play rules don't seem to apply here like who swings when, etc.
Pros: EASY to play and get right in to. The simple graphics, while a deduct on one level, do allow the greens to pop right up so you can play on. If any of you are old enough to remember the first incarnation of LINKS on a 286, you will understand why this is a point worth mentioning.
Overall, I give it a weak 4 stars. Worth trying if you need a bit of indoor diversion and something that a lot of you will come back to from time to time, I think.
